1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: August 01, 2016, 06:43:41 AM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

I think you mean like bitcoin exchange where you can buy and sell bitcoin easily. I think it would be a good idea so that bitcoin will be more known to the public. If people will see something new especially if its money related then they will be interested and can help the bitcoin industry a lot. If they put like this in big cities then many shops will offer bitcoin as payment option making the rise of prices and profit for those who hold bitcoin earlier.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: July 31, 2016, 07:13:40 AM
They rare going to make a new form of money in the future and I believe that everything is going to be digital which is both positive and negative at the same time.
I hope that they are not going to rush things because I do not think we are ready for such a big change.

I think this blockchain technology is the starting point and with the advent of bitcoin, shall we say 20 years from now or less more improvement on the system and more bugs is fixed and more problems is addressed. Its a good start, slowly but surely we are getting there into the future. Smiley

With almost all transactions being digital then bitcoin may be the next generation money. With the advancement of technology and the bitcoin gaining popularity then people may opt to use digital money in the future since fiat currency is losing its value. For now, there are still so many people not aware of it but as time pass by, maybe a major event that will happen and made bitcoin popular even for those people that are not into technology and just stick to the old ways and it may convince them to use bitcoin then may be change has really come during this time.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 31, 2016, 07:03:47 AM
not so good at all, just from this side I earn and lose to that side. Smiley
I think if you want to save and not suffer losses or losses you should avoid things like gambling or investment scam. I avoid gambling and I'm just
getting bitcoin from a safe method alone. and after that I did not get any defeat. because I was not close to anything risky

Staying away from those investment that has high risk  would be very good. Id rather go to investment which has lesser risk than gambling. Managing your money would  quiet bit harder if youre mind does think many things about spending it or investing it so that you would make more money.

It's tempting to invest in those "investment scam" because imagine that you can earn without doing anything and at the end of the day or at the time that you woke up, your wallet balance go up. We are already aware or has a hint already that it's a scam but still hoping that we can earn from it and get back the money we invested before it will disappear out of the blue. It's just a matter of luck if we invested early on those sites and managed to get back our money on time. As to gambling, it's tempting as well because you can double or triple your money in just a small amount of time but being greedy is the downside of this for one can lose it all with just one bet. Luck should be on your side also.

I experience this two investing and gambling and lose a significant amount of money on it so I learned my lesson and then I turn to safer ways to earn bitcoin. I just need to have patience so that I can manage my money properly.
1484  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: July 31, 2016, 06:48:19 AM
I have less than 1 btc at the moment because I've been scammed by this "cloudmining site" before and try gambling then lose again. I'm trying my luck in trading now because somehow I already have some stored knowledge in it and hopefully gain back what I lose in "investing" and gambling. I'm trying not to be tempted by those HYIP sites because I can see a lot of them. I also try earning in  faucet from time to time at least I can earn additional satoshi but I don't really focus on it because it's time consuming.
1485  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect prices to fall on: July 31, 2016, 06:35:52 AM
I think the bitcoin price will rise to $1000 by tohe year end, then it will fall to $800 to consolidate there.

I think it will rise to something like $875-900 and drop back down to $800 or $850.
I feel like there won't be many large swings unless some major event happens.
Hoping I can get a few more coins saved up before the end of the year because I think it will be steadily $1000 by the end of 2017.

I'm hoping for this one to happen also. Bitcoin is gaining popularity and maybe somehow when there's an event that will push the price higher because of the increase in its demand then it will reach up to $1,000. Some major investors are starting to back up their assets with bitcoin and then maybe in the near future others will invest on it too making it a media scope and then when the mainstream media will focus on it then maybe it will attract some small time investors too and collectively the volume will be higher which can increase the price.
1486  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 31, 2016, 06:19:07 AM
This time I get a lot bitcoin of some work. I kept trying and the result is very satisfactory. I earn more money than when I was working in the office. I admit that bitcoin give me a better life.

I had the same thing as you, and I have been doing this since the last 2 years, and I can live better by only having income from bitcoin Smiley
I know there are many people who earn a larger income in bitcoin than in real life their jobs. I think it would be difficult to choose to work full time in bitcoin and leave a real job? although bitcoin give better results. I suggested you'd better stick to using 2 job. but if it interferes with your time. you must choose one

Somehow I wish that I discovered bitcoin earlier so that I will part of some bitcoin project and earning a living with bitcoin only and not working on a job. I know that having a real job is a security that you can receive money bi-monthly or at the end of the month but earning a living with just being at home and not having a boss is just fascinating and ideal for me. I hope time will come that I will earn enough bitcoin that can support my expenses then I will really bid goodbye to office life.
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems you often face online in Bitcoin world? on: July 31, 2016, 06:09:12 AM
The problem for me is the transaction fees. It is just too high especially if I wanted to send small amount to people and then there are several of them so I will pay higher transaction fee because there's a fee for each of them. Wish there was a way to send bitcoin to different transaction by bulk and then it might reduce the transaction fees.

1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 31, 2016, 05:38:31 AM
It is not readily accept everywhere yet. Until that happens you will see alot less people using it because it will be diluted an probably just end up fading away.

This is the main problem. The amount of shops that accept it is not a lot.
And bitcoin has also to make steps in terms of adoption. My guess it will take a few years of slow growth and then a BOOM when bitcoin will be popular.

and also don't forget that there are some legal problems or legal scare that prevents some shops to start accepting bitcoin.
but if someday government stops looking at bitcoin is such a negative light it can grow a lot.

Bitcoin has this bad image of being use for illegal transactions because of its anonymity so the government should do something about it and it might worry some of bitcoin user that the government will be strict in bitcoin transaction when the time comes that they somehow control it and then the bitcoin user will just switch back again to using fiat currency since it's accepted everywhere compared to bitcoin that has a limited scope of transaction nowadays.
1489  Other / Politics & Society / Re: child labouring or child beggar on: July 30, 2016, 06:25:52 PM
Neither of the two. Parents should be responsible for their children, providing for them and doing their best to send them to school. Education is the key so that children will learn what's right and wrong and to learn more about society. If the parents can't provide for their children then they should never have made a child in the first place.

But if in the situation wherein it's not the fault of the parents why they can't provide for them then I will choose child laboring because in this way, the child will learn that hard work is important to succeed unlike begging that the child will just depend on other people to have something. But in child labor, the work should just be appropriate for a child not the work of an adult or those tiring jobs that might compromise the health of the child.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you losing money because trollbox? on: July 30, 2016, 01:09:48 PM
I'm thankful that I did not lose any money with troll box because I was already aware that some people will just get you to buy so that they can sell the coins they are holding. If it had not been for this forum then I would have believed what they are suggesting because I have a tendency to believe especially there are people who will say that they will help me just follow their advise . I have read in advance in this forum or shall I say warning about troll box never to believe in them before I start trading altcoin/bitcoin so I did not fall victim into it though maybe there are some honest people there, better be safe than sorry.
1491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: July 30, 2016, 11:57:34 AM
I think best investment for now and forever is gold, nothing loss and always profit. If we need the fast fund can make collateral in bank.
Yeah no doubt for that because gold is always precious and will be Cheesy obviously its price i haven't seen dropping so low from then high point, it can be the best investment !
Gold remains stable for long term whereas in bitcoin you can make good profits within short period, if you have good skill and knowledge you can trade and obtain best profits.

I'm one for gold also or shall I say precious metals like silver and platinum also. These are good investments because these already exist for a long time and the price are stable. The demand for these commodities are still high so its price will continue to rise and some investors are still using these as back up in case the dollar or fiat currencies collapse in value.
1492  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: July 30, 2016, 10:55:50 AM
here is the craziest thing you can buy with bitcoin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1566425.new#new

Hahaha! This is one of the weirdest thing ever that you can buy with bitcoins, at first I saw poop that is for sale. And now Used female panty?
I don't know what comes to the mind of these people, why they are selling their most precious treasure. I hope they would change their mind before someone is going to buy it.
haha yes it must be panty with a golden tag with some diamonds in it so it seems more worth to buy :p ( female penties but used ones )
seriously its most weirdest thing i have seen for sell ever in my life !

Well as long as there are people who are willing to buy what they are selling then they can sell it. As long as the thing that he/she buys can be of value to the buyer. There are some unbelievable items that people sell and you can ask yourself "are they serious?" but well there are actually people who will buy it may be just for entertainment. Used panties and poop are definitely the craziest thing to buy as what I have seen in this thread. Grin
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: July 30, 2016, 10:39:25 AM
Well man I think bitcoin can really disappear since everything pass as time pass by. It will be in the future but for now I think bitcoin will last for decades maybe 1000 years after this or 100 years bitcoin is gone maybe in 50 years it is gone since time is unpredictable. Let's just be ready for the worst and just enjoy using bitcoin while it is still here with value.

Yes I agree, anything can disappear and bitcoin is not an exception but if the question is when then we will never know because people might discover another one that's better than bitcoin and then they will shift their interest to that thing and forget about bitcoin. For now, let's just enjoy and be thankful that bitcoin exist and we can earn money from it. Let's take this opportunity now of utilizing the available resources that we can have because we never knew what the future holds.

Have you guys ever used bitcoins like a payment method?
How hard it is to explain to someone what's bitcoin?
In your country there are many stores where you can use the bitcoins?
Do your friends related to bitcoin? Do they know what exactly is a bitcoin?

Have you guys ever used bitcoins like a payment method?
I did not use bitcoin yet as payment option because here in UAE, I do not know any shops or store that accept it as payment.

How hard it is to explain to someone what's bitcoin?
It's hard to explain to someone about bitcoin if the person you explain it to is not into something techie and prefers to use cash as payment method but for others who welcome new ideas and techie then I'm sure it will be easy to explain.

In your country there are many stores where you can use the bitcoins?
Here in UAE, I do not know any shop yet that accept bitcoin as payment method or maybe there are some but I did not attempt to ask because I use cash as payment and use bitcoin only online for trading.

Do your friends related to bitcoin? Do they know what exactly is a bitcoin?
A friend of mine shared to me about bitcoin and then I did not bother to introduce it to my other friends for now because I am busy with work so I guess only the two of us know about it yet.

1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin change more than traditional currencies? on: July 29, 2016, 01:27:29 PM
Price of bitcoin is more volatile than fiat currencies because of the volume of transactions. When many people are buying it then only few sell then the price will be bullish because the absorption of the ones who sell it is not enough driving the price higher and same also when the people are selling it and there's not enough absorption of the people who bought it then the price will be bearish. There is no strong support and resistance established yet so the ones who hold a big volume of bitcoin can make a big impact when they do their transactions whether buy or sell. Whereas with fiat currencies, there is really big volume and one cannot just easily make the price go up or down because he holds a greater volume. There are people who are ready to absorb their transactions or set already their support and resistance making the price stable.
1496  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: July 29, 2016, 01:11:58 PM
With bitcoin starting to be noticed because of media and major investors investing on it, it's a good long term investment. Because if the major investors saw the potential of the digital currency and we know that they don't just jump the gun, they have the researchers and analysts who are expert and advising them on what to do then there's a chance that they will profit from it. We, being small time investors, will just go with the flow and ride with the tide because for sure they already study the risk associated with it and they saw that the potential reward is greater than the risk.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin sparks your road to success, what will you do for people who... on: July 29, 2016, 12:59:07 PM
If they have shunned me away when I was just starting then that just shows who cares or not about me or what I am going to do. If at the start they did not support me but along the way when they see that I am really dedicated to what I am doing and they started to care then they deserve to be with me in my success but if they only show that they care when they see that I am already successful then that just show their true colors and they don't deserved to be with me. The deserving ones are the ones who supported me all the way.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Odds of finding a fellow bitcoiner. on: July 29, 2016, 12:35:36 PM
The odds of finding a fellow bitcoiner is really low especially if bitcoin is not that famous yet in your country and there are no shops yet that accept bitcoin as payment or may be there are some shops that accept it as payment option but you did not know it yet. Unless someone will have an effort to meet up its fellow bitcoiners then agree that they will make a group and have some plans of making others aware of the existence of bitcoin then there is a chance that the odds will go up.
1499  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2016, 12:15:23 PM
I find it bit easy in convincing female on BTC. All are looking for part times jobs. All are good at written English. That skill helped me to convince them to bring into our community. I would say it make them aware instead of convincing. The BTC benefits would bring them into this forum without much risk.

Very timely, as I think everyone will definitely choose the easiest way and can get much larger profits than his job. This is a very wonderful thing when done by us, may be another way we can convince them that bitcoin is more beneficial than other currencies

I guess women can be convinced to use bitcoin if you can explain to them properly its benefits and its potential in the future and of course the extra income you can have if you already know the know-how of it. Women are not all just bags, shoes, and make ups because there are some who are looking for extra income online especially if they prefer to work from home or they are just at home without nothing to do. In this way, they can be encourage to use bitcoin.
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: July 28, 2016, 07:55:05 AM
Taking something that is not yours is really illegal may it be bitcoin or anything that you take without any authority from the owner. In the case you've given wherein you accidentally have bitcoin in your wallet upon generating it and you don't know who gave it then it is not stealing because there is no intention. But a chance of this happening is near to impossible.
