2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans for this year on: February 28, 2019, 09:06:26 PM
Everyone keeps saying 2019 will be profitable for the crypto community... but in life I've had to learn things the hard way.. which makes me always want to look into things in 2 ways no matter the odds

What if 2019 is the beginning of another dump?? What would you do as a investor?? Wait till your portfolio goes to zero?? ... or sell whatever is left of it??

The cryptovalute mode moves between one bubble and another. what I will do is wait for the next bubble and speculate Smiley
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are the new money, is this true? on: February 28, 2019, 09:04:43 PM
A new report by cryptocurrency and blockchain advisor, George Samman, titled ‘The State of Stablecoins 2019,’ details the history of money and makes an argument for why stablecoins represent the natural evolution of where money will head next.

Here is the link to the article: https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/new-report-says-stablecoins-may-become-the-new-money

Are any of you invested in the projects mentioned in the article? I am pretty interested in Maker and Ampleforth tbh

Interesting article, I believe that virtual money will be the future .. thanks to the blockchain it is possible that a virtual object is as real as a physical object ...imho physical money will soon be obsolete
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming and It's Future on: February 28, 2019, 08:59:27 PM
Hey there!
Lately i have been on a lookout for blockchain games, which i think is quite a hot topic now.

There are some where the whole gameplay is looking at the picture of a token you mined, and on the other hand - games with actual gameplay, for what it's worth.
Besides obvious Cryptokitties, i've assembled a list of games that took my attention:

1) CryptoSpaceX - beautiful space-themed project, they released Ep.1 i think, but i haven't looked at it much since July, so i might be wrong.

2) Ethercraft - you could say it's a roguelike-ish kind of game? Nice pixel graphics, live market.

3) CryptoSaga - for those of you, who loved jRPG's, here's a cool one. Animations is decent, have potential.

4) Ether Kingdoms - cute red\blue dorks mine themselves, and then go to battles to die. Very good art, and gameplay is decent too.

5) EtherRock - i wanted to include that one, because the idea is just funny. It reminds me of infamous potato salad kickstarter, in regards of effort, but those rocks are selling still.

6) Angel Battles - PvP oriented game, as far as i figured, very nice art, in my opinion, but the breeding part (regarding Angels) got me surprised a little bit there.

7) CryptoFights - 3D graphics aren't something to write home about, but gameplay seems interesting. PvP is my jam.

So, that's not at all everything that i laid my eyes upon, but those are prime examples i'd say, at least for me. I do, of course, enjoy interaction with another people in MMO games,
so my favorits are a little bit biased: numbers 1, 4, 6, 7. What are your opinions on future of blockchain gaming? If You have some games you've already tried, share your experience.
I'd like to add to list of things something new to look at, maybe even invest, as i strongly believe, that blockchain gaming possibilities are almost limitless.

Add to the list 2 blockchain games that date back to 2016: Spells of Genesis coin Bitcrystals [BCY] (trading card game) https://spellsofgenesis.com/ and Beyond the Void coin Nexium [NXC] (space strategy game) https://beyond-the-void.net/ .
When them came out they were something very exciting Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: February 27, 2019, 10:03:29 PM
Decentralization is one of the greatest dreams of Satoshi looking at the how the blockchain technology and its immutable distributed ledger has been designed. Well it saddens my heart that the greed of men has led to the abusing of this freedom and liberty that Satoshi wanted us to have in the financial industry. Look at the way people are being scammed and robbed in broad day light just because crypto is embedded in anonymity and decentralization. I think we've all had it to the peak, how about we have some level of regulation with the activities in the crypto industry. Share your thoughts commrades.

"decentralization" is one of the most exploited themes, often exploited by fraudsters to raise funds and disappear. it's also abused from another point of view: decentralization = freedom and centralization = evil .. I think these associations are wrong: I think the truth lies in the middle, the world needs both in the right balance
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC just went Down on: February 27, 2019, 09:38:33 PM
It went from $3,795 down to $3,665. All in a matter of seconds. I wonder why and what happen.

All my trades are up and hanging. My whole Binance account is now waiting for the rebound.

You guys doing okay?

it's pure manipulation, there are bart patterns repeated in this last period .. they do it purposely to eat the stoploss at low price
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Religion and politics divide people yet bitcoin unites them on: February 27, 2019, 09:11:03 PM
Bitcoin = Love
People all over the world are flocking into bitcoin regardless of their race, culture, and believes.
Bitcoin is for everyone no matter where you are around the world, no matter the race or skin color.
In fact, the bitcoin is more transparent than any government or company yet more decentralized than both.
Is bitcoin going to be the biggest economy in the future?

I think the biggest economy of the future will not be bitcoin but the blockchain industry. Bitcoin is only its origin but I'm sure will have a considerable capitalization.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin more approachable to common users on: February 27, 2019, 08:44:40 PM
Even after Ten years still Bitcoin is used by Geeks and majority of common citizens doesn't seems to use Bitcoin as a currency or even for trading purposes and I think this situation has occurred because still it is not approachable and that is because even it has all the features for a proper usability majority of people doesn't see Bitcoin as an usable currency for anyone who has basic technical knowledge which is not true but in order to change this situation and make Bitcoin more approachable to common people how its path should change in the future both technically and socially to convince it is a currency for everyone

It isn't yet used massively because:
1) It's not just technology but it's also value: it'is still too volatile
2) The number of userfrendly platforms is still low
3) A certain physiological time is needed for a technology to reach the mass .. as it was for the internet
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin reduced price an opportunity to buy? on: February 27, 2019, 08:36:31 PM
I think that in situations like today, those who have the knife always on the side of the handle are the manipulators of the market, real discounts exist only for them.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a religion on: February 21, 2019, 10:19:46 PM
Read the Bitcoin "investors" in this forum and you always see them say the same: "I believe..."

- I believe Bitcoin will go up
- I believe HODL is good
- I believe we will see adoption
- I believe it will go to the moon

and so and...and so on.... and so on

You have no understanding - only belief

Therefore Bitcoin for many people in here is a religion - it is about belief and not about facts and understanding

And religion is an extremely poor investment strategy

In my opinion "bitcoin" contain many liberal ideals and for this reason it is becoming a symbol of the future, of "tothemoon" and of hope.  Grin
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 21, 2019, 10:12:34 PM
A lot of people are excited again to witness the new smartphone flagship of samsung. Few hours from now and they will reveal it.  Smiley

One of the best rumor is that, S10 Smartphone will be equip by a private cryptocurrency key storage, and it makes speculators think about that much.

https://www.coindesk.com/samsung-galaxy-s10-includes-private-crypto-key-storage - here’s some link to
More about this rumor.

I think its confirmed, and honestly it made me goosebump because it looks like most of the big companies are now  supporting cryptocurrency. This is the beginning, we will benefit a lot from this market.  Smiley

I did not understand one thing: the wallet is a software pre-installed in the smartphone or the phone is equipped with an integrated hardware wallet (ledger)?
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical analysis is a another form of manipulation. Here is everything I know, on: February 21, 2019, 10:09:39 PM
I want to expose the truth for all of you. Technical analysis is an another form of manipulation. First of all, I run a 1 billion + crypto hedge fund and we know that TA's and news being used to manipulate your brains.  Those are either promoted by pump & dump people or whales. Big TA sites like tradingview.com offer their visitors insights data for million bucks which can be used to gain lots of insights.

Sites like Coindesk and Cointelegraph has corrupt authors who offer to write articles at $20,000.00 price tag. Usually, bigger whales hire Phd Physiology graduates to research and write articles then send to those corrupt authors for publication.

We do have special fingerprinting algorithms to detect fake news in crypto sphere and the other dangerous manipulation is trading bots/software. The trading bot/software authors offer data from their software users usually at $5000.00 monthly price tag.

My honest opinion is the bitcoin market is an another ponzi scheme. Bitcoin it-self not a ponzi scheme but the market is...........

The next pump is planned to take place in Q1-Q2 range. I do have contacts with whales and manipulators. What they want is Institutional people but it's another marketing and hope hype.  Whether it's Institutional or not, the expected pump will increase price upto $11,000 and back to $100.00.

This is my final warning. Don't trust anybody. The earth is an another shit hole. No alien will meet us Smiley

I believe that if bitcoin is a ponzi scheme for the reasons you have deduced then even the whole traditional financial system is a ponzi scheme and it's all s**t  Grin
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: February 21, 2019, 10:05:49 PM
What do you use cryptocurrencies most often for? If you thought about what cryptocurrency you use the most and what your favorite/most often use case is for it, what would it be? Obviously if it's private and you don't wish to share that's fine, I'm just curious to see what's being used and where people go most often for purchases, maybe pick up some new websites to visit for stuff I haven't found yet, or just share some places with other users who don't know many places to spend at.

What would the websites be, or physical places you visit for your purchases? Anybody offer discounts for cryptocurrencies or anything special? Like, what is the drive that gets you to get and use cryptocurrency for a purchase over a credit card. Special things you can only buy with crypto's or special discounts or anything, or just for the ease of transferring funds mostly?

----Edit---- Adding an edit here, thank you everyone thats posting.
***To all those that mentioned they make purchases for various things, would you care to share actual websites you visit? Sharing the names/links. The purpose of my post was to get people discussing about where they transact and to make a recommendation of where they do like to visit so that other users can see new places where they can transact where they've never known they could before. Which, if you look in this thread you can see there are quite a few people posting in just this thread alone  that don't really know anywhere at all that they can go to transact with their cryptocurrency's.  So to all who mentioned what they like to make purchases on, could you make direct recommendations of what those sites are that you like to visit?****

That was the purpose here, I gave one of my recommendations with Gyft  website.  So all of us to know where we can transact with our cryptocurrency's, let's help out those in this thread and that may read this thread find places where they can actually make purchases and utilize their cryptocurrency.

I personally use cryptocurrencies to make other cryptocurrencies (speculation, trading) and to buy amazon vouchers  Grin

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please recommend some Altcoins on: February 20, 2019, 09:11:54 PM
In my opinion, it's not a bad time to invest now. Some coins are really very cheap now and I believe the market will recover in the near future.
I want to invest some project such as, Tezos, Cardano, NEM, Dash, Maker, NPXS, Lisk, OmiseGO, Zilliqa, Komodo, Status, Waltonchain, Elastos.
It that a good idea to do it now? Any comments are welcome

Considering the chart and the fundamentals I think one of the most attractive altcoin to invest in is VeChain [VET]: from the end of Nov 18 which lateralises into a perfectly horizontal channel between 100 and 130 sat, 100 sat already tested with a strong rebound in August 2018.
We are in a low risk / reward buy zone.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull market is almost here on: February 20, 2019, 09:05:43 PM
The future is certainly bright for cryptocurrencies at the moment and it just seems like everything is falling in place at precisely the right time.
Bitcoin ETF is coming up, Bakkt launch is also around the corner, Ethereum Constantinople hardfork is almost here, JP Morgan who public criticized cryptocurrency last year is launching their own JPM coin which will be the first cryptocurrency backed by a major bank in the world,  and the timeline has been set for the next bitcoin halving.

The bull market is not so far off again

The fundamentals throughout 2018 up to now were unrelated to the price however, this can not last forever, I think the more the correlation lasts and the greater the chances of a reversal of the trend. I think we are very close to a accumulation phase which will be followed by the next bullrun. Trying to predict the timing between 2019 and 2020 the next bullrun
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question to all ICO investors. on: February 20, 2019, 08:56:00 PM
What are the biggest sources, channels (YouTube channels/influencers, Twitter accounts/influencers etc, ICO rating websites) online that you use to find out in which ICO to invest in?

I use mostly selected telegram groups, some youtube channels and lately I follow binance launcher
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where are the investors? on: February 20, 2019, 08:52:10 PM
I see that there are many ICOs that fail because of lack of funds even though the concept is good and potential, isn't it if the project is funded and realized the project will be successful and profitable for investors?

Imho the reasons for which ICO projects find few investors are mainly 2:
1) no confidence in the entire sector due to the bear market
2) ICOs must evolve, must guarantee greater trust and guarantees for the investor
The ICOs of 2017 were successful because: it was an innovative way to raise funds and we were inside a speculative bubble
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: February 20, 2019, 08:43:42 PM
I want to know how you relate the risks to profits?
What is the determining factor for you to sell or buy coins?
How many of you are trading short-term?

Some advices:
1. invest in a valid project
2. find a good setup to buy
3. diversify capital
4. use the "stop loss" to limit any losses
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there still opportunities for ICO? on: February 20, 2019, 08:39:39 PM
I think so, but the ico are evolving, investors are looking for parameters that show more trust. The ICO format of 2017 I don't think can work anymore, we need more guarantees such as the STO (security token offerings)
