3961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin such a big risk? on: August 31, 2020, 02:51:14 PM
There is really certain risks associated on Bitcoin but those can be practically be manageable as time goes by. The risks are being triggered most specially for the newbies and to those that are lacking of knowledge about the certain thing have got engaged with. The risks with Bitcoin is that if you do not certainly know what you are doing but still insisted to put up an engagement. Investing or trading with Bitcoin is a risk and also a gamble at the same time if you are not knowledgeable about those things but if you do, you are lessening the chance of risks to pop up for you do know what to do and you won't get easily fooled by murmurs, rumors and here says that might put your money into risks.

The risks on Bitcoin aside from being volatile in nature is the people around working on it that will certainly deceive you and those are known to be hackers and scammers. Simple thing to get rid or avoid yourself from being caught on their trap is be knowledgeable and that is what I am saying how certain risks associated with Bitcoin can be manageable as time goes by.
3962  Economy / Economics / Re: Famine is coming next ... on: August 31, 2020, 01:47:55 PM
Let us not hope for that worst thing of the famine to come up right into this situation for we are still dealing with a deadly virus. But the reality will never deny that there could be a possibility for that event to make happen all due because the negative effects that human actions are now coming out and as a result the nature is now suffering which can also do affect not just us humans but also the animals that depends on natural resources. No wonder why that thing could happen because the effect of climate change brings a directly negative effect on the nature bringing natural disasters to occur and other related scenarios affecting our surroundings.

We are now seeing how our actions can have a short to long term effect that might get worst if we will not work on planning and executing better solutions to somehow lessen the effect of the climate change.

Carbon dioxide is the life breath of plants and trees, so any increase should improve agriculture.
The decrease in farming output is caused by monoculture farming, bank repossessions of farmland and other financial penalties. and the changes in the use of arable land.

Too much carbon dioxide concentration on the atmosphere is still not a big help for it can still be deadly because the cycle on the ecosystem must be at a right balance to work things out. It is indeed that farming works have been lessen due to malpractices brought by humans and banks are doing repossession of those hectares of land for the sake of building empires and villages wherein the balance in nature is being at stake and taken for granted.
3963  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it time to think of cash and bank deposits as different currencies? on: August 31, 2020, 01:15:43 PM
Both cash withdrawn and cash deposited on banks are still fiat based currencies so they are still the same and cannot be further differentiated. It is just that as of the moment, there is really a high on demand on using cash which pushes people to do withdrawals rather than deposits for the fact that having cash aside from those digital money on digital wallets are badly needed as for now and people seems to find it hassle and senseless to deposit their money on banks when they are going to do withdrawals when cash is needed to sustain necessities at times like this.
3964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 06:08:49 AM
That was a pretty nice act of sharing information about Bitcoin in your class imagine for a Masteral degree to share some decent information to other people that are surely not knowing anything about it have been now knowledgeable about it because of the thing you have done on introducing it to your class. This was a great move on educating other people about the real essence and importance of Bitcoin existence and surely they have something in mind that they become amazed for learning new things that surely gave them better understanding about Bitcoin.
3965  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you try to accumulate now that there is a token pump? on: August 30, 2020, 05:16:57 AM
Most of us do certainly accumulate tikens when there is a dump and hold it up until such time that it pumps up gaining a profit and does it again all over again. But such scenario is still dependent on what token are we talking about in here because there are certain tokens that when starts to decrease in price just continue to drop down and the holding becomes senseless. So before deciding to buy at dump, be sure that what you are planning to buy do have a potential to increase in price or else you would just suffer dumping the price of your holdings and won't get any profit in return. Once you have undergone the step of determining a potential token that is worthy to be purchased that is the time you will wait to buy it a lower price and hold it until price pumps to get your profit.

Better know the token first by undergoing thorough and in depth research about it before engaging on buying and holding so you won't end up wasting your money for something that is not certainly profitable at all.
3966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: August 29, 2020, 12:14:47 PM
Maybe for some point buy and hold strategy works and think that it is the best strategy in the crypto industry. But remember there are also lots of strategies other than that and being termed or coined as the best strategy specifically varies depending upon the trader himself because strategies are calculated and made out depending upon the situation and make analytic and logical calculations to make out possible positive outcome to be produced. Surely there are also other relevant and essential strategies that we traders have been using on our trades and buy and hold strategy is just one of those. I am not saying it is not good. It is just that it is not right to coin it as the best strategy for there are also other effective strategies which can be used depending on the situation and it varies on the perception of the trader himself to manipulate such strategies to create his own since strategies are made out of trial and errors to see if it will fit to be a solution on the current situation.
3967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Barriers preventing you from using bitcoin today/advantages of using bitcoin? on: August 29, 2020, 11:38:53 AM
There are certain and distinct barriers that is affecting why you are being prevented or prohibited from using Bitcoin which varies depending upon the certain country you do belong. Some of the common barriers we do know includes (1) Legalization this is the first thing that is the main concern of Bitcoin users for they do reside on countries where Bitcoin usage is not yet being legalized to be used freely which prevents them from using it. (2) Accessibility and Adaptation the next thing being the main concern after legal matters is of course the massive adaption on using cryptocurrencies because their main issue is that accessibility cannot be attained by people due to lack of capacity and capability all due because of legal matters abiding that prohibits Bitcoin usage.

Those two that I have mentioned above are the main and the most common barriers that can be observed and the main issue why certain crypto users are being prevented on using Bitcoin freely according to their own will. I know there are still lots of barriers but I have just mentioned some of those.

Quote
1. Never Discuss Your Bitcoin - Don’t ever disclose the amount of Bitcoin you
have with anyone. Ever.

2. Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin - If your Bitcoin is not stored safely in your
wallet, you do not own it. If you leave Bitcoin on an exchange, you do not own it.

3. If It’s Too Good To Be True - Nobody in this world wants to give you free
Bitcoin. Nobody wants to double your Bitcoin. Nobody wants to offer you a
business opportunity. It's a scam. It's a scam. It's a scam.

4. Your Seed Is Your Key - Your 24 word seed gives access to your Bitcoin. Back
up your seed and store this in a secret place offline. Anyone that has this seed
can take your Bitcoin.

5. Double, Triple, Quadruple Check - When sending or receiving Bitcoin, double,
triple, and quadruple check that the addresses are correct. One incorrect
character can cause you to lose your Bitcoin.

6. Check Those Links - Anytime you buy, send, or receive Bitcoin, make sure you
have a verified legitimate link, url, or website. There are a lot of scamming
websites aimed at taking your Bitcoin.

7. Everyone Has An Opinion - Everyone has an opinion on Bitcoin. Take it with a
grain of salt. Never listen to one single individual and do your own research.

8. Investing - Never invest more than you can stand to lose.

This really makes sense. I think those are really essential laws that must be followed here in Bitcoin so that we can secure our cryptocurrencies and keep ourselves safe in this industry. The laws state are somewhat already basic and common but still those are essential to be known most specially for the newbies out there that are still not familiar so that they not easily get fooled by other crypto users which are commonly known as scammers and hackers that would do everything for the good of their own sake.

Good thanks that the OP have shared such essential information although many of us do already know it, but the other members in the forum will make use of it specially those newbies and Juniors that are still starting and making their own path of journey towards Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency as well.
3969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Experience, There’s No Other Way! on: August 29, 2020, 10:30:32 AM
To basically learn about the things you must know about Bitcoin, there is certainly a need to do a thorough and deep research to further educate yourself and to satisfy the inquiries you have in mind. Indeed there is no certain way to learn Bitcoin by doing the shortcut method but still it is a big help most specially for those people who are just wanting to have a clip of information to better understand what Bitcoin is really all about. The catch of knowing even the simplest version of learning about Bitcoin is already a big step to persuade certain individuals to get along on wanting to learn more about Bitcoin more deeply.

Research and experience are the essential things that will do educate you in this industry for not all researches might be applicable to you for you can do also learn something about Bitcoin itself based on the experience you have got in your journey discovering more about what Bitcoin is really about. Learning is a continuous process that we people is undergoing in our lives and researching and experience would be a great weapon to survive the entire journey of getting into Bitcoin most specially that technology is continuously evolving and that is where the whole cryptocurrency relies so learning won't stop for you will learn something more about.
3970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Mobile Gaming on: August 29, 2020, 09:51:48 AM
When it comes to comfortability and convenience we can do related Bitcoin and mobile gaming for they can be accessed on the same device and are sharing the same platform which is through online and just in need for a stable Internet connection to access both with just a few clicks away from your hand. Those are the relevant connections that Bitcoin and mobile gaming is sharing. The traditional once are being innovated into a much easier and comfortable to be accessed banking through usage of Bitcoin as a digital money since it is a cryptocurrency and mobile gaming on the other hand which is the innovated version of PC/desktops that is easy to carry out that can be played anytime and anywhere.
3971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the Post-Pandemic Era will benefit the Crypto Industry? on: August 28, 2020, 03:41:05 PM
I have already read up the blog and the Top 3 reasons stated why someone must do investment with cryptocurrencies have no relevance due to the reason that such claims are pale and bare for all people do already those and supposedly it was a blog, those informations stated must have attachments like URLs, or picture of graphs to support such claims because how can it look so convincing for a blog that only have write ups that the title and content looks promising and interesting but since there is no supporting facts and detailed information to support the claim the entire content looks pale and not persuading to be read most specially if you will be targeting newbies since there is stated "Top 3 Reasons why you must invest in cryptocurrency" I do not know if I exactly get the title but that was the thought. If you're aiming to gain the interest of that kind of audience you may at least provided proofs or do snowballing linking many websites to support the data you have included or just hyperlinks would do.

But the content overall it's nice and good. But would be better if you have fill in more needed information to support such claims.
3972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 28, 2020, 03:01:49 PM
It is such a futuristic idea and a dream come true if ever such thing would really happen. I am pretty much sure that we are all have been waiting for that perfect moment to come alive since it has already been years since cryptocurrencies have been established specially Bitcoin and it have already been years since the day that we are all wanting and dreaming for a massive adaption of Bitcoin usage and make it as one of the payment option not just for a certain country but as well as into the world as a whole.

I cannot pretty much wait until that day comes that whenever and whatever stores and merchants you come along is you can easily used up your Bitcoin as a payment option without in need of converting it into your local currency for it is already widely adapted and accepted everywhere. Looking forward for that thing to really happen sooner or later. That would be the best dream to came into reality for us crypto users for sure.
3973  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bailouts become more frequent? on: August 28, 2020, 02:32:13 PM
Bailout will continue to happen as long as the conditions at the moment demands it. In 2008 during the recession a lot of families would have been further thrown into agony with government offering the bailout. In the current pandemic, without government intervention to families and the economy as a whole, there would be massive poverty in the land with companies out of business which further tank economic indices, any reasonable government needs to do everything needed for restoration.

Certainly that would be the reality. As long as there is in need or a demand calling for the concerns of having bailout to save up businesses for the benefit of the good, this will frequently came out to be a necessity that is needed to support the restoration. The frequency on how bailouts came will depend on the economic situation which will result on how much is the needed bailout to be spent to resolve the financial crisis. At this time of pandemic, it becomes more tragic and have bring out a very large scale of economic deflation that calls out for the need to spend a very large amount of bailouts.

The "myth" is that the US experiences an economic crisis every ten years. So the next bailout event would be around ten years from now. As long as the "too big to fail" thing still exists, there will be bailouts at every economic crisis.

And they can just justify bailouts as it already set a precedence. And the "more the better", and 'there's not much danger" attitude from US. And its obvious that the meltdown today is far greater than 2008-09, specially the unemployment rate. So in the next ten years, and if we are going to see another bail out, it will be bigger than we have seen today. And we don't know how much it is going to cost, trillion dollars at least.

Let's just all see what will happen after 10 years if the "myth" would be cut down that the US was always experiencing an economic crisis that is calling for bailouts. Hope to see no further damage in the economy that is very costly that in need to spend millions and trillions to support the needy.
3974  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: August 28, 2020, 01:54:45 PM
Further there’s more bad news for the jobless people as he’s claimed that they’ll not be able to land jobs, and thus they will continue to remain jobless in the long run.

This is really a bad news for the big population of people that became jobless because of this pandemic. The government must do something about this for those individuals are really pitiful to think that their suffering would last for a long run. We know that the US have a very large number of population making it hard to offer jobs most specially at this time of pandemic. But the government may at least do something to take care about the welfare of those jobless people because if they are really facing the phase of continuous recovery on their economy, then there must be job offering to be provided to those individuals since they are the once being the essential keys to boost up the economic recovery of their country.

The U.S. election is in November, that's about three months to go, there is no way Trumps government can revive the economy in such a short period of time, he's reelection or not will depend on what he's done in the last four years and not this remaining three months before the polls (even if it's possible he revives the economy). Trump has made quite a lot of bad decisions as well as statements he failed to keep to, it's up to the voters now.

Agreeable. That was nearly too impossible to make happen that there would be a total economic revival to happen for US is known to be the top most country having the most number of covid-19 infected cases and the economy have been struggling due to lots of people being jobless so how come they can promise to have an economic revival in just a span of 3 months before the next election. This is just a boastful words lacking action just to impress the crowd. People must be wise on doing decisions who they must vote for the sake and welfare of their country and fellow country men
3975  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: August 28, 2020, 01:17:39 PM
At times like this specially we are currently in a pandemic where it is said that virus can be potentially spread through the usage of physical money, people will tend to see more of the pros or the positive impact that going cashless can do rather than seeing and realizing the bad sides of it. Well, it is true that going cashless can have both the pros and cons but the negative side could be managed and be resolved if you are going into a legitimate and reputable transaction.

PROS
  • Hassle-free and convenient way of purchasing products for having digitalized transactions;
  • Faster and has a lower rate of being exposed to theft due to its nature;
  • Eliminates the need to bring cash which can bulky one's wallet; and
  • It can potentially save you money

CONS
  • Not everyone has the access to a cashless technology. One country may offer such service but other countries may be behind development;
  • If cash is digitalized, there is always the risk of being hacked due to its nature; and
  • It requires knowledge on both parties when transacting. Stores that cannot adapt will suffer significantly.

Those were all duly agreeable both for the pros and cons side and this must be known by many people to better weigh and know the benefits and disadvantages of getting into a cashless society. Getting cashless needs to provide wide adaptation beforehand so people can duly access and be adaptable on using such mode of payment. Once people are being reliant on such thing, surely merchants will adjust on the consumers want and adapt into a cashless basis. The possibility of getting hacked can be manageable just assure that you are doing a safe transaction with a reputable merchant and secure your device to avoid the possibility of getting hacked.
3976  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 28, 2020, 12:47:01 PM
I think what you have found out are just made out of your theoretical out view on how things are going on right now at this time of pandemic. Ever since right before the pandemic, there are already certain countries who have large debts from bigger countries most specially talking about the third world countries. The existence of strict implementation of health protocols are being executed to manage and control the inflation rate of the infected individuals and that cannot be relevantly related to the debts a certain country have.

In our country where which belongs to the third world, we are really pretty much aware of the existing debts that our country have and they cannot hide it duly because of the FOI (Freedom of Information) of the mass media which informs us of the latest happenings that our government is doing. This includes corrupt allegations and even those that have already proven and this also includes the debts our government is doing to support financial aid assistance to those that are needy and lack of capacity to earn because of the pandemic

The point is that such theory of implementing strict restrictions just to hide debts is somehow have no basis for the main reason why this was being implemented is to control the possible further spreading of the virus that can get worst into shutting down the whole economy for the man power will be lacking of capability to work due to sickness.
3977  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 28, 2020, 12:15:58 PM
You cannot blame some people to have that kind of mindset of always complaining about the current situation and set up we have all brought by the existence of this covid-19 pandemic. We are not standing on the same feet to say to other people that they must see this as an opportunity despite of the bad situation that makes many people jobless and even homeless. Maybe there are people that see this as opportunity but that was being part of their mind getting optimistic to the thought that they must do something productive despite of this pandemic. But other people mostly those who belongs to the lower classes cannot duly relate because they lack of capacity and capability to see this situation to be an opportunity for among the other social classes, they are the once who are directly affected by the situation. Being optimistic won't always play for there are certain things that cannot be controlled by the mind with regards to the capacity you have on hand so we cannot say that they must divert their mindset from negativity going to positive outlook of seeing this situation as a greater opportunity despite of the bad situation.
