Well we can still return to our job after this pandemic but the current problem is the policy of some company that is no work, no pay. Sure the food is not a problem for us, but what im worried about is the pay for our monthly bills e.g. house rent, electricity, water etc.
At times like this its really important to have a savings so incase something happen you have money to count on. I just hope the virus vanish as soon as possible because most people here are just counting with their salary and no savings at all.
Savings are most of the people are missing when it comes to scenario like this. So many people are getting hungry cause they are not prepared on moment like this, I hope after this more people are going to start in investing. Another thing is remote working! many people are not aware that there are job that is available on the internet so that you can work from home, I think people now are going to be open in this kind of work, and a lot of them are going to be curious about it because of this pandemic. Well most traders are probably doing it and diversifying their investments to different assets and have already implemented a stop loss especially in this times that Bitcoin tends to go crazy wild swings. You may short, as the bottomed is not yet confirmed and could possibly go down. I think it's a decent strategy but it has also some flaws like what if the price fake outs then the stop loss triggers but the reverse pump.
I have a bad experience diversifying my investment into profit-making assets, I don't know why I got bad assets that time that makes me lose more than having my past investment/token. I should think it is bad luck? of course, I've researched the tokens I'm planning to buy but it hurt that I lose more than I could lose from my tokens. This might work on others but I think not on me. When I want to stop the loss I am buying stable tokens to avoid any more loss than I could get from buying other volatile coins that can recover the loss I got from other investments. Well, you shouldn't buying many tokens. it's good to diversify your portfolio but don't go to the point that you are going to be a bag holder. Just invest on you think that would be good in a long run, and don't buy token that is volatile than bitcoin, if you are doing that you are just doing gambling! I don't believe there is any crypto exchange company in existence that is "accepted by" any government in the world(unless we are talking about some offshore "tax heaven" small island country).
Actually there is. Here in the Philippines we have local exchange called Coins.ph and it's accepted by the government it's consider a business. It's originated from the Philippines and funded way back in 2014. And I don't think that only Philippines have that there's many exchange that is legal and accepted by the government in other country just like bitpay and coinbase. If it's not accepted by the government then, I don't think they can run their business. |

I've always thought about the possibility of cryptocurrency replacing fiat and I don't really see how that's going to be possible. They are not going to be any replacement, though I strongly believe that bitcoin will still be around, but most of the other cryptocurrencies might die off and not be used any more.
The government is going to create their own cryptocurrency and will expect the citizens to be making use the ones they have created, they will be like digital assets which people will be able to exchange through their their banks. And as you have said ,only cryptocurrencies that are tied to certain companies will last.
Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency cannot replace fiat but, like it or hate it cryptocurrency is a big help in our economy and those two are helping each other! Those two have both advantages and disadvantages, and I think comparing those two doesn't do anything. Cryptocurrency help us in our online transaction and big transfer and fiat help us in our physical and micro-transaction. Both have their own roles in our economy. Does not have direct effect, but it has! After the corona virus started major markets are started to crash down until all of the market loses value crypto market is included! It didn't have a direct effect but you can see the pattern that because of this crisis people are pulling out their money into safety causing markets to crash down. Right now the virus is still out so we can't see any good news in crypto, I think if the virus is cured we will see a big market changes.
