4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: April 23, 2020, 01:21:11 PM
I don't care about their promotions and other gimmicks as long as they are honest to their players and reputable, I would love to play there. And as long as their platform have a decent user interface and it's easy to use it's okay to me. The no. 1 thing that I look on every online casinos are there reputation if it's clean then it's good. Right now I am playing at cloudbet and primedice, I am playing on does two gambling website for years and no plan to switch cause they have everything what I am looking for, they are reputable and have cool games.  Grin

The profit is very small, but I am considering it doing for longterm so I think It's all good for now.
I will at least observe the movement for months and consider if I am gonna continue it or not.

LoL  Grin Grin At first glance, I was surprised by the profit value in USD, but when I look carefully, the basic profit in BTC is very small, less than 0.5%. Soaring BTC has made your profits somewhat strong  Grin I expect a better profit, 1% a week is good enough for compounding  Cheesy compound interest is something really big compared to regular profits, I'm waiting 1% for your next week  Cheesy I will invest immediately if it is 1%  Tongue

Any increase or decrease in USD should not even be considered at all. That increase or decrease does not say anything about whether the investment is gaining or losing. The man is investing in BTC, the profit or loss should also be measured in BTC. It is totally silly to check on the USD value when you are investing in BTC. You are like the fake traders wearing wide smiles on their faces because their USD value is rising real fast when in fact the market is just bullish.
I am investing for money so USD value should be greatly consider, Investing is to earn money so I think, both bitcoin and USD value should be consider in this thread.

I guess computing the profit in BTC and leaving the usd computation would give an accurate answer of this experiment.
The thing is, the price of bitcoin is not relevant to the gambling sites performance, so in order to simplify, I'd like to give that as a suggestion.

I put both of the profit/loss in bitcoin and USD here in the thread, for more data. I am okay to your suggestion but, I am investing for money so putting both will be okay  Smiley
4443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading strategy? on: April 20, 2020, 05:48:26 PM
The very most effective strategy with the current market situation is to buy and hold, with the pandemic resulting casualties outside the digital world stock market is declining and so the oil industry, the cryptocurrency market on the other hand has the resistance of the price from its decentralization core. Trading seems to be quite off these days but I, personally having a good gains trading in Binance. If there is one thing I need to point out with what I am seeing to a lot of traders today, that is the greed, most of them often running things within just a day having short temper and less patience on dealing to the market which causes them to lose more.
4444  Economy / Economics / Re: What N America and Europe need to start on now! on: April 20, 2020, 05:14:27 PM
I doubt that China does it so that everyone would have to buy from china or even they are probably not doing it so that Americans and Europeans can't protect themselves or anything like that.

Most of people believes that China created the virus to gain some of their interest politically and economically but if that's the case then they should have not make their own country as the epicenter, if their target is America or Europe they could have just easily transported it carried by stealth aircraft and drop it somewhere. Even without pandemic, China is the main producer of all, don't you ever wonder they have the biggest economic step from the previous years?

I hate Chinese dictatorial government that basically kills anyone who opposes them and anyone and their whole family as well, however if you think with a bit of logic you will realize that China has all those places for themselves first, if you need masks would you allow your own manufacturing factories to build some for Europeans or would you force those places to make it for you?
Seems like you're angry about anything that involves China huh, but I think you are just so bored that thinks of this way. Come on.

China probably needs like 100 million masks per day at least, you can't use the same mask all day as well if you are a doctor so probably even more, which means they need ALL the mask factories they can get their hands on.
China won't need it if they don't let people go outside, or just of most of them. 100 million mask per day would costs too much for the government to manufacture, that's quite impossible to do at all, aside having total lock down would really help deescalate the situation, so why not use the solution that requires not that much money?
4445  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 20, 2020, 04:34:04 PM
Although it has not yet been proven that China made this virus, but I'm sure China is spreading this virus. Because the largest population of China
in the world, and spread all over the world.
The idea was pretty cruel for their leader to come up with depopulation, and I don't think they would do that to their taxpayers. This is not going to be true, China's recovery is pretty fast, their economy isn't down at all, and probably they are mixing up to contain and create vaccine for the world. Every little thing makes the world thinks that China did it all, but do we have that solid proof? because we all got is just dots, merely dots.

Just try to note that in almost every country there are Chinese people, this might be used by the Chinese
government to spread the virus. But this is also just a supposition, investigation is still needed to get strong evidence. That is certain indeed strange
of all countries affected by the virus, only the country of China that looks most ready to deal with the corona virus.
I'm pretty sure even in my country we have a foreigner from your place, don't act like kid in a box. China might look unaffected but are suffering too, it is just that they easily managed it by having protocols regards with the virus, they also have plans like the hospital they have just built in a week, plus they got the money to make everything possible.
4446  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 20, 2020, 04:00:43 PM
I think that China will hardly recover from the COVID-19 epidemic. Because China did not prevent this virus successfully. The COVID-19 disease has spread to many countries around the world, especially the US and Europe. It has killed many people and caused enormous economic damage to the US. President Trump plans to withdraw US factories from China back to the US or to other countries such as Vietnam and Taiwan. This will make many Chinese workers unemployed. Therefore, the Chinese economy will face a serious crisis.
As a matter of fact China has the biggest improvement out of all countries that have been hit by the virus given that Wuhan, China is the original epicenter of the virus. Does China is having hard time containing the virus? YES, we all do but being not prepared does not mean that we cannot be successfully defeat the virus. I'm amaze how China is doing things by their own, given that they have the most populated country yet the recovery rate is impressively high. China is working on the cure and vaccine under the world's pressure from suspicions that they created it so they can manage to take advantage of the world in many aspect.
4447  Economy / Economics / Re: Stimulus checks perfect storm for massive crypto bull run? on: April 20, 2020, 03:28:55 PM
That being said, I'm sure a vast majority of the money would be spent on essentials.
That might be true, but think of how many stimulus checks actually went out (I don't know the number, but with everyone getting one it has to be huge).  I have no doubt that quite a few recipients did indeed spend theirs on bitcoin or some other crypto.  And this is the US we're talking about, where tons of people live well beyond their means with credit card and other debt weighing them down.
Stimulus checks has been out since last week, so if it is an another reason for the bitcoin to increase then we should be seeing a massive market movement right now but lets turn off this scenario. Stimulus checks is amounting $$,200, if you convert it to your local currency then you might find that the stimulus check is quite big, actually it is bigger than what we are getting with ours as a relief. After reading of some articles about stimulus, there are 150 million residents that might qualify for the stimulus check that has been distributed, so if we put that on calculation, that's a $180 billion. woah.

It may be a little ridiculous that the whole crypto world has started spinning over whether US stimulus checks will inflate the BTC price, as if $2 trillion would automatically go to BTC. According to some research, 80% of Americans have reportedly heard of BTC, while about 6.2% own it (probably in their Coinbase accounts).
Again, those stats may well be correct, but with bitcoin's market cap where it is how much collective buying would have to take place in order to spike the price just a little?  I don't have the answer to that either, but I think the free money did have an effect.
It's not quite safe to assume that we are going to have a bounce because of this, even a billion dollars put in the market can make a huge pump.
4448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spam me with decentralized exchanges on: April 20, 2020, 02:40:19 PM
Im not so sure about the fee but we all knew that almost all dex have some common fees and not far from each issued.

Here is good list mate:

These are some known and currently active. Im not so sure about if IDEX still a dex or not hearing a lot that tis already been centralized. Hope I did help you find a good choice. Good thing that you are using dex, this is a good decision and stay away as much with some centralized exchanges. I did use some but only those allowed to trade without KYC even at low category such as Binance.
This is also what I found after searching through web. All of these decentralized exchange has a low trading fee however the only exchange I've use from the list is only Bancor Network, although I'm not trading that often on that site there are coins that can be only found on some exchange like this and if you need to choose between centralized and decentralized, I'll suggest to choose the dex over cex since you are wanting for a low trading fee. I'm not familiar with the other dex listed above, it looks not so interesting to me for some reason. It's just me tho.
4449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can we do to minimise the risk in trading on: April 20, 2020, 01:57:55 PM
Minimizing the risk in trading requires discipline, and when I said discipline it includes a lot more of your personal attitude towards the trading market. One is the patience, how patient are you when it regards to trading? Second is the involvement of emotion, first things first you need to react technically in trading and not emotionally, let your brain decide not your heart. Last is the knowledge you have, how deep is your knowledge when it comes to trading and it should be fit with your trading style or strategy you need to be more focus on a single type of trading. The volume and liquidity of the trading platform can also add to minimize the risk of trading.
4450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: April 20, 2020, 01:21:45 PM
What is your story of not being able to access your Bitcoin wallet with Bitcoins in them.

What have you tried to retrieve them?

I was a victim of a runaway scam that leads to losing access to my bitcoin. it was a promising investment method known as cloud mining and everyone seems to talk about it at that time and I also started to joined them. I was a newbie at that time and wanted to earn as fast as I can little do I know that the site is about to become unreachable in a few weeks. I got my first payment but after that, I never saw the site works again after 5 years.
There are lots of cloud mining that I've used in the past, but honestly none of them works that efficiently, I guess my expenses costs more than what I get with cloud mining. Scams are widespread until now and then, I admit I became one of those gullible person since every one started as a beginner that wants a instant money lol, gladly most of the mistakes that we have done made us smarter with our moves and become our lesson. I've lost some of my access with my bitcoin but it does not worth that much for me to work to recover it because I think it is nearly impossible to do it.
4451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the effect of corona virus on crypto industry?decrease or increase on: April 20, 2020, 12:05:21 PM
Obviously based on what we have been seeing the Corona virus brought a negative impact to the crypto Industry as well as to the many business because of it's lockdown from different part of the world and maybe this is one of the most problem because the industry of the cryptocurrency is currently facing a big problem due to this pandemic virus.
And so far that has been only the short term impact, if the lockdown is still in place for months or we move to intermittent lockdowns in which we return to our normal activities for some time only to go back to send everyone home because the virus is spreading too fast the effects in all markets will be even bigger than what we have seen, many do not understand that in order for the price of something to go up more money needs to chase the limited supply available and if people lose their jobs and have bills to pay then they are not going to have money to buy bitcoin and with the demand going down the price will have no option but to go down as well.
But now the price of bitcoin is looking good, still on the good run until the halving. However we have been seeing the researchers concluding that the vaccine might not be available until September this year, that's very unfortunate if that happens, I hope it won't. As for the impact that we have seen, from my own perception and view towards the market, I think we have seen the worst that it could impact to the cryptocurrency market, I mean I believe that the resistance at $6K will be as strong as our hopes for the covid-19 recovery.

Yeah haha, the actual profit in BTC is really small, I check it sometimes last week and the BTC profit is quite changing, sometimes my profit at Yolodice is increasing and reach 50ksats-60ksats and I am surprised that it dumps today. But still, profit is profit haha, I will just keep my investment there as long as I didn't need a money.

In bustadice it's stable, the profit is slow but the dumping of profit is slow too, I think it's because I have more percentage of share at Yolodice, I am still waiting for yolodice to open their dilution fee cause it another factor of earning there as a bankroll investor  Grin
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to check fairness of your bet - based on Luckydice on: April 20, 2020, 03:50:33 AM
To be honest, I actually just know that if it's "Provably Fair" I'm just going to trust the casino site (This is for reputable crypto casino sites that I played in). I never bothered to check the actual validity of the rolls that I get. I just know that I get a new seed when I play too long with that or something in that regard. For sure there are a lot of others who do this as well.

Anyways, I now have an idea with that, thanks to your post. Maybe I would try it on other sites as well, just out of curiousity.

You are right. Most of the gamblers blindly trust a casino if it claims to be "provably fair" without checking even a single bet. And as Sadlife said. Some casinos claim to be provably fair but there is no explanation on site how to convert raw data into final resoult.

In my opinion it is important to check at least 1 bet per day not only for us but for whole community. If 10 000 gamblers will check 1 bet daily we have 10 000 checked bets. If casino is cheating in 0.1% of bets we will (from statistic point of view) have 10 cheated bets, and we will expose scam. That's why it is important in my opinion to promote checking your bet even once per 100-200-1000 bets.
As long as the gambling site is legit there will be no problem. Famous bitcoin casino's has built their reputation for years and I don't think they will cheat their players for just a few bucks. Online casinos like primedice, bitsler etc. has been here in forum for years so my trust is 100% for them and I think they will never cheat me cause they prove that they are 100% trusted casino.

It's okay to be a hobbit for new casinos cause they have a high chance of cheating but it would be a waste of time for the trusted ones, that's just my opinion  Smiley
4454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: April 20, 2020, 02:38:33 AM
So here's my update for week2!!

This is the update for bustadice:

In USD I got: 20$ profit and in BTC I am still behind because of the 2% dilution fee.

This is the update for Yolodice:

In USD I got: 30$ profit and since I invested there with no dilution fee, it's pure profit for me!

Here's the spreadsheet:

The profit is very small, but I am considering it doing for longterm so I think It's all good for now.
I will at least observe the movement for months and consider if I am gonna continue it or not.
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 19, 2020, 12:43:34 PM
Several months ago I read a story here on bitcointalk where a guy was explaining how did he manage to get thousands of referrals. What he was doing was posting his referral link on various gambling forums along with the promise to return 50% of the earned money to the players because of whom he earned it. He has been keeping his promise since then(he started like 5 years ago), the word spread, and he ended up earning up to 0.01 monthly from his referrals, although none of them was actually a high roller.

But sharing 50% of your profit isn't the upper limit. Look at these stats from freebitco.in, and at how much this guy, 14FkBmEF, shared with his referrals:

It's more than 80% of his total profit from them, but he earned 4 BTC as the result!

Perhaps, the more you are willing to share, the more you are going to earn.

Getting referral is not a big thing because you can throw away your referral links here and there, on telegram groups ,Whats app group, Facebook etc and can get high number of referrals who will be of no use because they won't play on the platform.
The trick is to get the referrals of the gamblers or even if new people signup on your referral link, give them proper guidance on how to play and earn on the platform.
Yes! a lot of influences right now and YouTube affiliates are doing that, they're making a video about a certain platform and educating their audience about it and after that, they will give their referral link. Honestly, referral really works well on  famous people cause they have a thousands of followers who are gonna do what they ask for. And maybe sometimes if you are lucky to get a big shot on your referral you will earn just like that guy. For normal people it's game of luck, but on famous people, it's a sure thing. That's what I learn on the concept of referral.
4456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current situation on: April 19, 2020, 10:17:17 AM
If you are one of the short term investor I think there's no need to worry since the halving is coming and we all know what's going to happen in halving, there will be pump, I am not 100% sure but the chart's don't lie, if you check the date of the past halving and see the bitcoin chart you will see that every halving the price of the bitcoin is going up!

BTW, back to the topic, it's the simplest rule of investing/trading or any kind of risky activity. DON'T USE OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY! Just use the money that you are confident to risk and make sure it's your own so, you will not have any problem regarding it. Win or lose if you use your own money there will be no more problem, but if you lose and you just borrow your money then, that's gonna be a huge one and I am sure that, it's gonna be a huge trouble for you.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: April 19, 2020, 09:43:52 AM
How I wish I can donate but we are also hard hit by this pandemic and we have very small resources right now, we live in a third world country and we also need help, we should praise these companies that do their part in helping combat this pandemic, even a small amount will go along way, I'm sure other gambling sites are doing their share.

I don't think they are collecting funds for the third world countries, they probably will donate to poor in their own country. Every one should donate something to help the poor and it is not necessary that you donate it online. you can find the needy people around you , in the neighbors and help them.
This is literally what I am thinking, all of the countries are suffering form this virus, so I think they will just donate that into their own people. Personally, I am living at the the Philippines which is a third world country, I will just donate my money into my own people instead of donating into other countries. It's just for me, but it's better to help you own people first rather than, help others. Let's just hope that this pandemic is gonna end soon. Stay safe everyone!!!
4458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is nobody talking about this major resistance? on: April 19, 2020, 04:25:56 AM
Yesterday it didn't break the 7300, so I am expecting a dump until at least 7100 right now, but if it is somehow hold the 7200 for 24hr then, there's a higher chance that we can go after 7600 after it break the 7300. Let's just wait on what's going to happen the halving is also near so expect a huge pump after that.  Based on the past halving it gives bitcoin a huge pump so maybe history will repeat itself after the halving  Grin
4459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in High School Syllabus on: April 19, 2020, 03:52:27 AM
How about reading some articles and see if there is really a good impact on the present if the bitcoin will be put on the high school syllabus. Maybe thus can be conduct a study by the government in order to know if they really know if there will be a future for bitcoin if it will be put on the high school syllabus.
But there are some articles in which states that they are already putting the bitcoin in the high school syllabus in fact it is already part of the economics subjects.
Yes that is really happening, bitcoin/cryptocurrency is one of the major markets right now and it's really giving traders and investors a new option. And as time passes by many people are knowing bitcoin so it's a good move to make it part of the education so student's are going to learn about this new market and the can it explore it by themselves. In IT field there's now a blockchain certification so I really think that adding it on high-school subject is really a good move.
4460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: April 19, 2020, 02:51:04 AM
A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.

I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.
An obvious red flag from a scammer on telegram, if these people has too good be true offers related to money on any social media website such fb, twitter especially to all messaging apps such telegram, be cautious, its 99% scam.

Thanks for sharing this btw.
A lot of people are contacting me in telegram. They always say that they have a good investment yet, I never believe even one of them. Many people specially the newbies are easily attracted to these scammers. They convey fastly in numbers and flowering words because they don't know the real in cryptocurrency.
Hopefully many people will learn more about cryptocurrency scam investment. So that, these scammers will be eradicated.
This isn't new, but yeah scammers on telegram are increasing day by day. If you are a newbie and doesn't know whats happening you are likely to scam. I remember even on trading exchange telegram there's also a lot of scammers. When you posted that you have a problem regarding their exchange there will be a lot of fake admin that it going to message you and will ask for your personal info, and if you get trick by that you are going to be scam. You should always be careful on telegram cause, there's a lot scammers there.
