Apart from taking the sides of the case out to leave the system exposed, you can try putting ice in a well sealed bag and leave it on top of the cards, granted unsafe but if you cover the plastic bag over cloth then it could work out.

Do not place it directly on card, condensation may happen and you will have water in card.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where can I get some free alt-coins? on: December 20, 2013, 11:01:38 PM
Go to the alt currencies subforum and there are designated begging threads.  Post your wallet address there.

I agree, this is the best way, but not begging, but giveaway threads  Wink
1163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: philosophy behind Bitcoin on: December 20, 2013, 10:59:02 PM
JP Morgan's Total Equity in 2012 was more than $200,000,000,000; Bitcoin is currently worth around $10,000,000,000.

Remember, JP Morgan Chase just got sued for an amount comparable to the entire BTC economy; that big bank money is way beyond cryptocurrencies' line of vision.

I believe they may buy coins for few million dollars only and just trading for profit, so they take money from noob traders. But the more whales, the more interesting competetion between them
1164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: got 10 MH/s SCRYPT to play with what do you reccomend? on: December 20, 2013, 10:44:37 PM
10 MH/s Scrypt mining is a lot of GPUs. Mine most profitable coin if you need dollars or Bitcoin. If not, take the risk with your favourite Scrypt altcoin Smiley
1165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone else bought high? Worried? Still holding strong? (I bought in at $1080) on: December 18, 2013, 09:03:03 PM
We'll hit 2k soon Smiley

I wouldn't be worried about holding $1080 coins.

Not sure if soon, but probably late next year if the long trend is right
1166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is now the best time for new people to invest? on: December 18, 2013, 09:00:52 PM
What caused the price of bitcoin to drop? I assume it will bounce back to 1k levels?

China has banned the selling of any goods and services for BTC. They are huge economy and that has shaken the market of BTC.

I don't understand why did they ban it, haven't they been making national reserves in bitcoin  Huh

No, China does not need national reserves in Bitcoin, Bitcoin market cap is small

1169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New guy on the block on: December 14, 2013, 11:36:27 PM
Hi, don't forget the altcoins, theres still lots of boats to catch!

+1

New altcoins are coming out here and there, some are a hit, some not so much.  I jumped in to Primecoin and more recently DOGE and it's been profitable.  Gotta just roll the dice and hope it pays!

How you know it is profitable when DOGE is not listed at exchanges ?
1170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will accepting bitcoins increase my sales on my website? on: December 14, 2013, 11:28:42 PM
if you market heavy to bitcoiners, they might support your site.

So do you have any tips how to market heavy to bitcoiners? I'm making "normal" advertisement, but how do I reach that bitcoin market?=)

1171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best ASIC machine? on: December 10, 2013, 12:33:36 AM
Because investing in the bigger ones really worths it  Tongue Tongue
Most of them will arrive months later in the middle of a shitstorm of difficulty  Tongue

Well the price should fall to reflect that, otherwise the prospects for profit will be much reduced.

The price reflect that, but no one can guarantee delivery dates. Look at BFL example, they shipped 8 months later than promised
1172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoin is a pain. on: December 10, 2013, 12:27:50 AM
Why does it seem like all these BTC companies are doing sketchy stuff?  I read all these stories about taking funds, or not depositing funds into an account after the exchange had the money for like weeks.

Isn't it hardto buy in person too, like when does the person send it to you and you give them the money?

These Banks might making problems like freezing Bank account if they see suspicious activity.  Bank accounts are not perfect
1173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade UK bitcoins on: December 10, 2013, 12:20:34 AM

1174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CHINA MAKES BITCOIN LEGAL !!! on: December 10, 2013, 12:16:05 AM
So why did bitcoins drop in value if they made it legal?

I would say China did not make using Bitcoin illegal.
This is big diference from making Bitcoin legal, the Bitcoin status remain unchanged in China in my opinion

1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: December 06, 2013, 12:39:02 AM
thats why Bitcoin is compeared with gold. If there is something in limited quantity it will be very valuable,
that why bitcoin is invented in his background, i think:D

Not necessary, it must be usefull too, not just limited quantity  !
1177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paper Wallet? on: December 06, 2013, 12:34:16 AM
Which coins have a paper wallet?

With Armory you can backup private keys by printing  if you mean this  Smiley
1178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm Out on: December 06, 2013, 12:24:42 AM
Well I've tried but find it all much to complicated and am afraid of making mistakes.

I'm disappointed but somewhat comforted that the trends forecaster Martin Armstrong, doesn't believe Bitcoin has a future. Doubtless we will all be going digital in a few years or less (and paying our taxes on it!). Until then farewell, and enjoy while you may.

BTC right now is currently worth nearly $1000 exactly. Remember this post and come back in a year. I hope you don't regret it, but I'll bet money you will. Bitcoin can be daunting, but it's simple enough once you get used to it. I reckon it'll be worth persevering, but who knows?

I agree, many regret threads like "I knew about Bitcoin few years ago but never give it a go, I regret it now" already here
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can not reply in most places here on: December 06, 2013, 12:18:12 AM
is there a list of areas that people can post in?

Only in Newbie section, unless you become Jr.Member. Often questions are answered in Newbie section well, so no big problem I guess
1180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin is not as global as you might think on: November 29, 2013, 07:47:28 PM
The fact that you could get 1 Bitcoin so cheaply in the past, made it look like a good investment even if on papers it was not. Same thing happens when you take a chance at lottery. On paper lottery is one of the worse investments you could ever make, people still make them because the amount you pay upfront is tiny compared to the amount you can be making if you win. Try to sell a lottery ticket for 1 Million dollars with more than 1 million times better winning odds than the ticket you sell for 1$ and chances are no one will buy it (even though it makes more sense from a risk return POV).

Seems your prone to investing on any of the alt coins, cheap and no infrastructure behind, just promise of possible future. Will you choose the cheapest coin ? Will it be lowest risk?
