Looks like Soniq just hit the lottery!

BIG TIME!

Let me get this straight, IF they deliver:

He gets 2% of 12x350Gh/s  which equals 84Gh/s,
He doesn't put up any BTC,
He doesn't have to host,
He just sits back and collects.

IF they don't deliver:

He has to type up some PMs.

or am I missing something?

Isn't that Josh from BFL in the white warmup jacket in the center of the picture looking like he wants to grab that woman's purse?

Hi Arklan,

Now that you've had time to test these suckers, what is your average actual Mh/s?  Just curious.
545  Bitcoin / Hardware / USB Block Erupter on a Mac? Anybody got it working? on: June 01, 2013, 11:11:15 PM
Anybody get these mining on a Mac yet?  How is it done?
546  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: USB 300MH/S ASICMiner Value Question on: May 31, 2013, 07:59:44 PM

Most recent one on eBay sold for $485 (3.7 btc) but obviously demand will drop as more are offered.

Don't forget that there are EBay fees, Paypal fees, shipping costs, fees to turn that fiat back into BTC.  I've had zero feedback bidders not pay, resulting in more listings, and the fees just keep starting over.   Overall it's a really inefficient way to move these units.
547  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Block Erupter USB on: May 31, 2013, 02:31:37 PM
-S all now keeps the cmd. window open but nothing shows
Ok, try with: bfgminer -S all -D -T -d?

Edit: Also! Be sure you're using the special build I posted for Block Erupter USB!

when i goto that post and download either 64 or 32 bit, norten then removes the file from my computer after download as it is unsafe?

It's Norton that's not safe.  Remove Norton now and get back your system resources.  Find a real antivirus.

Changing the subject here a bit.

I had some good luck on EBay recently, and I wanted to pass on my problem to somebody else.

A couple of months ago, I bought a pair of UGGs online for my daughter.  I tried to save a few bucks and when I opened the package, I was looking at a pretty good pair of counterfeit boots.  Sometimes getting things shipped from China doesn't end well.  Anyway, I figured I would put them on ebay for what I paid for them.  $64 USD.  No takers.  I have kept lowering them 2 bucks a week, and still no takers.  I'd like to offer them to somebody here in this group buy for the smokin-good-price of FREE.  If you want to give me .1 or .15 BTC for shipping that would be cool.  They are supposed to be size 10, but more like 9.5.

Arklan, you have first option.  Anybody who hasn't got their USBs would be next in line, but I'm pretty flexible.

Any females here who wear a size 9.5?  Anybody have a woman friend who does?

will sell you one if you want to mine on a Mac....

I don't own a Mac.  I was asked to find out.

This IS the "setup" thread, is it not?

557  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 29, 2013, 02:34:48 AM

besides, i'm hoping to (FINALLY) get the living hell out of utah and back to texas and my GF sooner rather then later.

My letter carrier who gave me your package today had some choice comments about Utah.  He's Asian BTW.  He told me when he was in school in Utah, "those prejudiced mutha fukas kept callin me every name in the book.  After a few days, we finally had to fight.  They were all wrestlers, but I used to box.  I tore em up pretty good.  After that they left me alone.  Shit, I'm never goin back there."

I just nodded.
558  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 28, 2013, 05:18:01 PM

Obviously photoshopped!  These units don't exist!
559  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: ASICMiner Block Erupter USB group buy (US/Canada) on: May 27, 2013, 03:09:04 PM
also - guys with 10 or more: it's been brought to my attention that one such order got priority shipping, not express. i'm thinking that, despite my instructions, the office depot worker screwed up. if you guys could check to see if this is the case for you and let me know, i'd appreciate it. i'll figure out some sort of compensation if it's the case. probably a btc refund.

Mine is showing up as Priority as well.  Delivery is supposed to be Tuesday, so I don't need a refund.  Keep up the good work.

By the way, EBay removed one (1) of my listings because I had a link to the USB driver Friedcat posted.

Bastards!
560  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 24, 2013, 09:10:42 PM
The shocking thing is - there are bids for it.
I realised just now that that auction is for ONE piece, since in the picture there are FOUR...

Not saying that this was deliberately misleading, I'm not accusing someone... I'm just wondering if this is what prompted some people to bid.

Nice guess, but most of the bidders know it's just 1.
