...Productivity index per hour worked. If EU average is 100 than: Greece stays at 76.3 Germany stays at 123.7 i.e an average German working hour is 62.12% more efficient than an average Greek working hour...
If I may quote your own self: "It doesn't quite work like that." Productivity is the amount of fiat earned per unit of work. This is a deceptive statistic as the infrastructure in say, Germany is far more advanced than in Greece. A German office worker can type faster on a computer than a Greek office worker can write using pencil and paper. How much of this infrastructure is implicitly included in your 123-76 advantage? How did Germany gain that advantage in the first place? Imagine 2 identical twins separated at birth 20 years ago. One flies to Berlin and the other to Athens. They both become machinists. The German twin has a higher productivity than his Greek sibling in 2015. Is the Greek kid lazy? EDIT -------- Now they do a house swap. Is the "original German" kid now the lazy one?

With the masternode limits, does that mean that once there's a certain number of MN's operating, that no more can join?
The only limit is (the existing coin supply / 1000). This will never happen though.

Guys... One small question. I'll go in holydays on sunday, without the possibility to made a cold restart. Did you think that it's good to make a quick stop/start of my hot daemon just before leaving for 2 weeks? Well the daemon don't crash so much, but from time to time I must admit that some daemon stop (in the past month I have re-started ~25% of my MN once because of dashd not running anymore and have to make a cold start because of not detecting this crash quickly). Edit: Those crash are probably du to cheap VPS but not sure, I have to made more stastistics, and I use 4 diferents provider for my VSP. Did you set up crontab? It's this easy: @reboot /path/dashd -shrinkdebugfile */20 * * * * /path/dashd -shrinkdebugfile substitute in your own path.

EB82 – Mike Hearn - Blocksize Debate At The Breaking Point https://soundcloud.com/epicenterbitcoin/eb-082Looks like we are approaching the Bitcoin revolution Revolution in Bitcoin. But seriously, he has a really interesting vision about all kind of general Bitcoin issues. It took until the 37 minute mark, but he finally said this: "I wouldn't worry much about the centralization...anyone who wants to can run a full node" This (to me) is the main argument against increasing the block limit. Running a full bitcoin node would be considerably more expensive than it is now. This will result in fewer nodes, which will centralize the system. How much? Don't know. DASH solved this problem in an blindingly obvious way. Incentivize the Nodes. DASH tech > BTC tech. It's just a matter of time.

I compose anything that I don't wish to lose in Gmail so that it often gets auto-saved and I can also keep it as a backup of what I posted if needed.
Auto saved to the NSA's Utah Data Center.

When a masternode owner get's paid, are those new Dash locked like the other 1000 Dash or can the masternode owner sell them right away?
The payout is can be sent to a different address(the 1k stays the same), either to the same wallet or a different one(via a donation address), it is not locked and can be sent via the enable expert coin features if from same 1k wallet. Fixed. The payouts can be used normally; hold, spend, etc.

I agree with the background. Now for the punchline, "Why is DASH a better mousetrap?" Feel free to use the following words; instantx, scalability, trustless.

Blocksize debate:
I've always liked the idea of the blockchain being a settlement layer with instant-transaction merchant layers on top. A blockchain can never complete with the capacity, functionality, flexibility etc of merchant payment layers no matter how fast. A supermarket, for example, could never use a blockchain directly, it has to be able to have so much meta-functionality and support like insured trades, instant reversibility when someone puts their conrflakes on the belt too close to the customer in front.
The nice thing about Dash is that it can do both.
tok - Can you elaborate on this please? I have an ulterior motive for asking. I'm meeting with a group of heavy hitting devs in the DCO world later this week. I need all the ammo I can get.
