So waves was quick to delisted N****r from the DEX but they can't delist all the other fake tokens like mobilego and eth?

Also if Waves can delist coins when it feels like, that doesn't real give confidence to those who want to launch projects on their exchange. they can just delist you at anytime for any reason.

Did they really delist your token? Thats worrying. I think all airdrops should go to something like a users spam box, only airdrops from projects with enough WCT votes should be able to pass through the spam box.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

The Waves platform is fundamentally flawed because the exchange isn't decentralized. If you use words the developers don't like, they can take money away from you.

The fact they don't understand this, and used their power at the first opportunity for something completely minor, shows Waves does not have smart people behind it.

What do you mean? Cant you name your coin whatever you like?

This brings up an interesting dilemma, who decides what is racists? In Norway and Sweden a lot of people think that it is racists in just asking a dark coloured person where he is from. Whos' morals are the judge in these cases? I think it should be up to the WCT holders in deciding these things in the future. Although now while Waves is still in early development i have no issues that the team decide these kind of things as long as they are transparent in doing so.

Agreed. The last thing we need is a Social Justice attache at Waves headquarters determining what is offensive or not.

Hello everyone!

My name is Evandro (@ereismatias) and I am one of the creators of the telegram group Waves Brasil Oficial, together with BitCrow (@Crow_Fx). Our group has more than 575 members and we are always promoting news about the Waves platform, helping new users, and answering all kinds of questions about the platform.

As the ICO Hub Election have started I came here today to announce that Bitcrow and I are launching our project in this election. Our idea [ProjectAccess] is to change the way by which tickets for entertainments (concerts, games, Movie Theater etc) are sold and validated. We want also to promote the Waves Platform.

So I would like to ask for all the Waves Community to help us and vote in our project of the ICO Hub on the Waves Slack.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the list with all the registered:  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tF4geg1ihc3Of6lK3dovyHK0uOIkAKR6Ecj7cwip7c/edit#gid=0

It’s pretty simple to vote! You need to have an account on the Slack of WavesPlatform. It seems that new users can’t vote for a while, as a way to prevent fake votes, but if they open to create new accounts you can make one here:  http://wavesplatform.herokuapp.com/

Check out the image below to see how to vote:
(Image created by Andrea Pravato - user of our telegram group)

And don’t forget for our project!

Thank you for your support.

So my token can be delisted for any reason at Wave platform. This is bad. Decentralisation is number 1 in crypto or not?

Waves can not remove the coin.  They can remove it from the site, which they are allowed to do.  The point of waves is the site and gateways are centralized but things like settlement, for example, are decentralized. Hope this helps.

I think its fair to remove tokens that copied the name of legit ones. If your token isn't copying the name of another token then I guess it could stay. Those tokens like MobileGO we meant to scam. Those newbies are buying it too, which is really something to worry.

yes, They should do it now. There are many tokens listing on the waves platform considered as scammed tokens .
I really want waves team to check all tokens on Waves platform regularly and delist them if they are scammed tokens.

Since the tokens still exist on the Waves blockchain, what's to stop somebody from building their own Waves DEX? It would obviously be separate from the official wallet but isn't the official wallet just a "client" for the DEX? Surely someone can code a DEX on Waves that has no filters.
