181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the future of the market? on: June 14, 2021, 05:16:48 PM
I think nft will be a part of the future of crypto, and as to when this market will recover I guess time will tell, we can only watch and speculate before it happens, but the good thing is it will continue to happen in the long term, I mean the market will always recovery how bad the state of the crash at that time.
The idea behind is novelty and some of the platforms are attracting visitors who are willing to spend millions and that caught my eye in the market as well. The problem is when the hype started more and more projects are popping up, some with their own chain and some run on top of other network and we will see how far these projects will go. I need to select a few projects that are hyped and plan on investing in them and see how it goes.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Hope Impoverished Nations Become A Bitcoin Network on: June 14, 2021, 02:46:00 PM
Bitcoin has been a great economic equalizer for all the individuals that have been in the space for many years now. Bitcoin has allowed many an average joe to accumulate life-changing wealth simply by investing in it over the years...

Now we are starting to see countries get into bitcoin and the same thing will play out globally between nation-states: those who are quicker in adopting bitcoin over others will be at an advantage compared to the rest in time. Surely that day is coming when holding bitcoin is part of every national treasury's monetary policy.
It is an added advantage if you are able to enter the market from the beginning as you are bound to make a good profit and if you were that average Joe and invested in Bitcoin then it is possible that you could make a fortune. After all Bitcoin is generally not created to make you rich but to make transaction easier and robust on a global scale at a low transaction charges and hopefully we will reach that position in the future.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Sorrow of BTC Be The Pleasure of Altcoins? on: June 14, 2021, 06:30:05 AM
Relating this to cryptocurrency, if BTC who is the mother of Cryptocurrencies and who has gained extensive trust ceases to exist today, will altcoins flourish or will it make the people loose total interest in cryptocurrency.
First and foremost Bitcoin will not cease to exist just like that which means billions of dollars will evaporate like that, it is an impossible scenario and the other companies that popped up creating billions of dollars surround the entire cryptocurrency market.
Even in a hypothetical situation a demise of one coin will not affect the entire market but if there is a hindrance for Bitcoin then it will affect the entire market.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 13, 2021, 10:03:16 PM
Djokovic is mentally very, very strong and I personally think that Tsitsipas ran out of energy, Tsitsipas was looked very tired, especially in the 4th set, and mentally not as strong as in the first two sets. But every player who beat Nadal in Paris deserves the win there.
Novak Djokovic proved his fitness, in the earlier rounds i was skeptical about the chances of Novak Djokovic winning the tournament as he was having injury issues often but when he defeated Nadal in the semi final i thought he would run over Stefanos Tsitsipas but he ended up loosing the first two rounds and then he showed in stamina and strength to lift another grand slam and Stefanos Tsitsipas was tired and so is the reason he was all over the place in the final two sets.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2021, 09:47:56 PM
Yeah, I think it is. One of the last from the old guard. It's sad, but it's also nice if he really retires because there is nothing sadder than watching fighters push through their fighting years. It's not a good look for the or the sport. Their financial future? Well, that's a completely different story.
Some of these fighters are in a tough spot as they are old enough to retire but they did not make the financial stability like some of the super stars in MMA are making and this is their only way to earn money and you cannot blame them for making a livelihood and so is the reason some fighters are fighting even after their prime years but if you are not performing well then the UFC will cut you irrespective of your past glory
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: June 13, 2021, 08:47:33 PM
I absolutely agree with all of them. The world is no longer the old world. Life and habits are changing. I have slightly different views on the Chinese economy. I believe that they deliberately released the virus while the whole world was sinking and used it for their own benefit.
We are yet to find the source of origin of the virus and the speculation that the Chinese used this as some sort of bio weapon is bullshit theory, if you are talking about the Wuhan lab then they are funded by the US government as well and they will not release the virus on purpose, either there is an accidental leak and that is the theory that is supported by many scientist around the globe.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mining plants in China are shutting down. How will this be reflected on Btc on: June 13, 2021, 07:52:43 PM
Due to the big blackout in China, the government has decided to ban mining and I have verified that, indeed, many mining facilities are closing. I have seen that there has been a nice cut of hashpower but, I have also found that some hosting centers have closed. This could be good because fewer miners would have more income.
I am looking for a decentralized system and closing down mining farms is not good at all and that does not mean one less competition to earn mining rewards, you cannot think like that because the strength of the network is determined when more people are supporting the network.

That been said these shutting down will not affect the price as they will be moving to other locations and we do not have hash power issue right now as the problem is sorted when the difficulty was adjusted.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 13, 2021, 06:38:48 PM
I am watching PSL matches regularly but was not active on the forum in the last week or so, so could not discuss about it recently.
By the way there are no issues so far and tournament is going good so far. However, empty stadiums are only thing which i don't like at the present.
The situation in the UAE is not that great and the government might not allow huge gathering and you need to comply with empty stadiums if the match is taking place in India or any other Asian countries or in the UAE. England started allowing audience in the stadium and the match between England and New Zealand was interesting as we are seeing audience after a long gap.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 12, 2021, 11:38:23 PM
reality has shown us that some sites have used the TOS as a way of freezing people's accounts and always with the excuse that people are using the site from a prohibited place or that people have too many accounts and when asking the site Show Evidence The site says it can't show evidence because that would divulge the methods they use to find out who uses a lot of accounts. and I ask: who can prevent websites from using the TOS for harmful purposes? only the government has that power. but unfortunately what you see in the online world is sad, customers must do KYC on sites where they are anonymous with anonymous owners
The website has the power as a business organization to enforce their terms of service so that their business interest are well protected. These websites are created to make the profit and if people are taking advantage of the system then they have the authority to stop the abuse and basically protect their business but if they are open like Stake as it is not mandatory to verify my identity unless i looking for their bonuses .
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 12, 2021, 11:03:03 PM
~
The reason once put forward by the ECB chief was that if there is a cricket tournament within the Olympics, then the popularity of the ICC world cup may get impacted. Now BCCI has changed their stance and they support the inclusion of cricket in the Olympics (one of the moves made by Ganguly after he became the BCCI head). But ECB and CA (and CNZ) remains opposed to the Olympic inclusion of cricket. Among these three boards, I would say that the ECB has been more consistent with their approach. For the last 5 decades or so, they have opposed measures to popularize cricket.
ECB was controlling the ICC for a long time and they will be angry that they need to share the power with other countries and if cricket became popular in other countries i am not sure these power houses will be angry so that their control over the board will get slimmer. Not sure why it is hard for them to  push for Olympic inclusion other than financial reasons or the lack of financial gain for the ICC by including cricket in Olympics.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: June 12, 2021, 09:53:44 PM
A very suicide thing to be done by someone who would consider on taking a loan just because he do want to play gambling? You are just making things complicated and possible big problem is really on high chance to happen which might really end up for you to go suicide when those who give you loan
would really hunt you down in the time where you do need to repay. You shouldnt consider out this kind of option because you would eventually
be putting yourself into big trouble. Play on the money that you can afford to lose and that would be just an extra or spare that you do had.
There are many that gamble like that and some of the countries have strict law against gambling is because they know that it can destroy life if you have someone who is an addict and they would literally gamble their entire life savings hoping that he would recover from the mess and financial issues and end up loosing everything.

I know a user here who gambled huge number of Bitcoin when he was drunk and when you are not in good physical condition never gamble especially if you are intoxicated .
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: June 12, 2021, 08:07:07 PM
Sorry for the delay but a few days ago the second winner was announced, it seems he is a an Amazon delivery driver and as you may guess he does not even know what to do with the money he won, this makes sense because even if you think about winning the lottery you know the chances of that happening are very low, let us hope that he uses the money responsibly and he does not fall victim of the many pitfalls that happens to lottery winners
So there will be a winner every month, some people will ruin their life if they win huge amount of money which is not expected and then try to live a life of luxury and burn away the prize money in a short period of time and then end up struggling yet again and this is the theme we are seeing from lottery winners for centuries and these pitfalls for lottery winners are real.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: June 11, 2021, 07:51:20 PM
just make sure that the money that you'll going to spend are those amount that you are willing to forget, if that things did not favor you, it will easy to move forward.
Anyone who was able to take that kind of risks always made a fortune in the market but that does not mean that investing in all the meme coins are going to give you a good benefit because Dogecoin had its rally but what everyone needs to understand is that the market is up and running for several years and there were specific reasons for the pump like constant shilling by a billionaire influenced the price greatly.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price movement for June & July 2021 on: June 10, 2021, 11:47:21 PM
Hey guys I just sold all my BTC while the price was $59000. What do you think will be the dip for this bear market? $19k? At what price should I buy BTC again with the best possible profit.
I am expecting the price to go below $20k when the bear market starts but it is hard to predict how low it can go, since you already sold at a good price it is always better to have some patience and wait for the market to enter the bear phase before investing again. I am yet to be convinced that we are near the bear circle as we might even see another rally this year before the bear market kicks in and that is what i am expecting.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: June 09, 2021, 11:36:19 PM
Government can't kill bitcoin because government has no full control in bitcoin because bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. Also, maybe you have a point, maybe government officials own also a bitcoin secretly for their own or they invest into bitcoin to support the economic financial system because they know bitcoin is a good investment nowadays. Nobody know! But the important is we are free to use bitcoin and other crypto currency.
A government can come up with rules and regulations that it could make things difficult for a user. If they force the exchanges to shut their doors and ask the credit card companies to never deal with cryptocurrency then it will be difficult to make trade normally and any government could enforce these rules and if they declare huge punishments then who is going to take that risk. So it is possible that a government could make restrictions.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 13k. FORECAST on: June 09, 2021, 10:51:55 PM
No stops as I have no time to make necessary analysis
Target 12400
Current price 33000
Optil 4 months,
What makes you think that the price of Bitcoin would go down in the next 4 months, i am also not having any doubt that we will see a major correction and that we could see a price of Bitcoin coming down below $15k but i have no idea when that would happen because it all depends upon how these institutional investors are planning on what to do with their huge investment.

If you think that you know the reason on why the price would fall in the next 4 months i would like to hear from you.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 09, 2021, 02:30:49 PM
Mitchell Santner has suffered a finger injury and has been ruled out for the next test match. Actually, this will be a huge relief for the New Zealand selectors, because they were facing a selection conundrum. Trent Boult has rejoined the squad and it was difficult to include him in the playing XI without dropping someone who is doing good. Now New Zealand is likely to go to the second test with an all pace attack, comprising of Boult, Wagner, Southee and Jamieson. Will be interesting to see what kind of pitch the curator will prepare.
Trent Boult is a natural selection in the team and Mitchell Santner would have been replaced even if he was not injured as he did not have any role in the first Test match but the inclusion of Trent Boult is a major boost for the team and they will trouble the England players.

Kane is also taking break due to old elbow injury. Hope every unfit players recovers before the WTC finals.
It would be great to see both teams having a full strength team to battle for the first WTC.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 09, 2021, 01:43:09 PM
It looks like Loma is the outstanding favourite base on the odds. But still I think Nakatani will be a tough opponent, and the odds are not reflecting it. Again, Nakatani has some success on the Teofimo Lopez fight, so this is really a big test for Loma specially coming from a shoulder injury.
Considering the skill level of Lomachenko he is way above Nakatani and so is the reason it is reflected in the odds and his shoulder injury is the only obstacle we can say that he might not perform to his optimum level but if there is anything that might be a concern the odds will definitely change when the fight date is approaching. I am expecting a better showdown by Vasyl Lomachenko as he is coming to this fight after a shocking defeat and i am expecting him to dominate the fight.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish movement on the way? on: June 07, 2021, 11:20:14 PM
Quite evident that BTC chart plots a flag pattern after a strong dump, not really a bullish signal and this worries me a little bit.

P.S: I took a look at the 2018 run, I've noticed that a very similar triangular formation was been plotted, followed by another bearish movement; I know that history doesn't necessarily repeats itself on this market, but I still found this interesting
We do not have a lot of history to check whether these formation will give you the same results, in short the data available is not that great to plot these patters and make a conclusive study. I can very well tell that this time around there are a huge number of institutional investors who were pumping money for a long time and the market depends upon how they are going to view the market, if they are once again investing heavily then the market will rally if not if they plan on booking their profit then what you said will be true.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 07, 2021, 11:08:43 PM
right, cryptocurrencies are becoming more popular because of the bulls. especially when it happened while the pandemic was still ongoing. this may have something to do with the pandemic and the bullrun, considering that many people want to make money while staying at home
The pandemic and the lock downs are a reason why there are more eyes in the cryptocurrency market space. Usually people are busy with their work schedule and they do not get the time to look into the market nor do they have the time to learn more about it. But the pandemic has given everyone a lot of time to work and study as there are no other activities that can be done and hence there are many who entered the market in the last one year.
