1061  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone else remember this? on: November 28, 2019, 12:02:25 PM
There is no point in blaming the corporates for the lack of competence with the recent graduates. If you have the necessary skills, then you will be able to land a job with a decent salary package. But the problem is that a huge number of the teenagers prefer politically driven subjects such as gender studies and Islamic history, which has hardly any demand in the job market.
What, Islamic history is a degree course  Shocked. Damn what are you going to do with courses like that, i am not against anything and you need to have the freedom to learn anything but if you are selecting a course like that and expecting a million dollar salary package would be a fun prospect  Cheesy. There are not much jobs in the market either and it is a challenge now a days to find good package and a good offer like we used to get in the past.

And rather than learning some coding and programming, they waste their time by playing PUBG and other Android games.
Not everyone can be a coder, you need to have some interest in a subject to learn than.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exact reason for the dump on: November 28, 2019, 09:00:20 AM
Its because of Bitcoin. Period. Current news affairs affect the mentality of traders which in turn makes them buy and sell depending on their current decision. Long story short, supply and demand. Just trade as you wish, I see no need to determine exact reasons for a pump or a dump after all.
The bitcoin market is not the only market that goes down and it is hard to determine the exact reason to determine why the market is going down because it is not country specific and when ever the market goes down you will see many theories and articles, so rather than looking for reasons for the market movements if you see the market as it happens and trade accordingly.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 07:28:39 AM
Considering that there are still many terrorist groups or insurgents groups around the world right now fighting with weapons that probably cost a lot. Do you guys think that they use cryptocurrencies in order to fund their armies or do they stick with trading with cash or trading valuable resources that they have?
Even if the terrorist groups start using any virtual currency you cannot do anything about it, but the advantage is that if they are using bitcoin then every transaction can be tracked as all the transaction are public and it would be foolish for them to transact through that because fiat is the best option they are using because you can hide those trails  Cheesy.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a sign of the next Bitcoin bull run? Or just another bull trap? on: November 27, 2019, 01:39:06 PM
For me its all bull trap unless the price is above $12k.
I have seen this term thrown around this forum recently "bull trap", but was the current situation a bull trap, the market was trying to break some resistance level and it was finding it hard to cross those levels and the market went down, there was no indication that the market was going up nor shown any signs of a bull run to say that it was a bull trap. I am waiting for to see how the market will perform by the end of this year and then i will have my analysis.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: November 27, 2019, 12:51:48 PM
After Facebook announced it's Libra digital currency, several countries have expressed their interest of launching a digital currency of their own. China has already announced that it'll be working on Blockchain technology for a digital version of the Chinese Yuan while other countries have done the same.
In the next five years we will see many countries launching their digital currencies and it will be another shit storm battle and the weakest one dies off, if people need to purchase those they need to implement a regulation so that you could purchase products with the digital coins and if they regulate bitcoin then they will be able to use it to purchase bitcoin and the decentralized market with those centralized coins.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOTHING IS ABOVE BITCOIN on: November 27, 2019, 07:48:53 AM
Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream and HashCash, has said: "Nothing is above Bitcoin, no Central Bank Digital Currency, no stable coins."
Everyone can have their narrative of a coin and some prefer fiat and some prefer other forms of payment and then there is bitcoin which is new in the market and not everyone can understand the full concept of bitcoin and it will take a long time for everyone to understand the real concept of having a decentralized currency, any digital currency will be below bitcoin and there is no second opinion about that but we need to go a long distance as this market is new compared to the others.

Good work by the kids but you should have posted this in the competition, there were only two other entries from the Indian sub forum and you did not even post in the competition  Roll Eyes.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 26, 2019, 09:49:55 AM
Bottom line is Sanju Manju aka Sanjay Manjrekar is big time jerk and shitty commentator, always talks shit about everyone and makes cringe worthy comments here and there. first with jadeja now making shitty argument with Harsha Bhogle who happens to be one of the sanest voice in the commentators fraternity.

Right or wrong doesn't matter in this case but only attitude.
Here Sanjay Manjrekar is trying to establish that he was an international cricket player and he knows better than Harsha Cheesy It was a jerk move and what was his issue with Jadeja. There is no doubt that Harsha Bhogle is the better commentator and anyone can voice their opinion and you do not counter that with a dick move  Roll Eyes

It's getting quite spicy amongst Indian cricket fans and I think disagreeing at that point even without agreeing to Bhogle's suggestion to ask players was bad part from Manjrekar. What do you guys think?
.
It should have been avoided and there is no point in arguing on air.

1072  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Price Tanks as Unplanned Exchange Maintenance Leaves Customers Stranded on: November 25, 2019, 06:30:03 PM
I have accounts in multiple exchanges, and most of them are announcing in advance about system or emergency maintenance in their respective platforms. I just don’t know why are they doing this to their users. I only knew that those platforms who does the same “unplanned” thing would only give them time to prepare to exit scam.
If you consider the market volatility in the bitcoin market then selecting the best place is to trade is a big factor and i will not trust any exchange that goes offline for maintenance without any prior notification and all the investors should avoid these  kind of unprofessional exchanges as the amount of loss you will have to suffer are huge, when you are investing and a trader make sure to select the best exchange which is transparent.

1074  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Physical Crypto Collectibles on: November 25, 2019, 07:35:09 AM
you can do a direct buy or a group buy to save on shipping, if there are others who want to buy and given the bars are available.
You would love them. The price is different for each bar, they are sold out on site for now, and your only source is secondary market- where the price is a little bit steep.

I do not have any for sale at the moment but let me know which one you like and i will see what i can do. would love to have new collectors in India Cheesy
I checked the site but i could not find anything that interest me that is available, just three canvas paintings is available and the rest are sold out.
What are the collections you have in your arsenal and i would like to see your collections and it might inspire others here to purchase these products, the reason i did not try is because it will be a hurdle to get these products here and since you are an avid collector i am interested to know more about that.
1075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 25, 2019, 02:35:06 AM
New Zealand just need three more wickets to win the match
Another wicket down and they just need two more wickets and now the new ball are taken and Jos Buttler just got bowled clean as he was not even able to read the line of the ball nor did he wanted to defend it. Sam Curran and Jofra Archer in the crease and i hope they will pick those soon, the spinners were bowling well and Santner should have bowled to the tail and the captain should give him the opportunity to pick those wickets.
1076  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Physical Crypto Collectibles on: November 24, 2019, 05:04:46 PM
Kialara's are one of my personal favorite. Really beautiful and shiny and hard to let go once you hold one in your hand.
you can see more about them here

https://www.kialara.com/
I have not purchased any items like this, so if i want to purchase are we going for a group purchase or you are selling those as you said not everything is owned by you and what are the prices of these items in INR to reach me and does these items have tracking details. I liked the design of some of the coins listed here and hence my query.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble with a controlled mindset on: November 24, 2019, 09:37:20 AM
Easier said than done Cheesy it's really hard to predict what a person would do in such tempting situations lol. I myself tell others to know when to stop but in past I myself has hugely lost because of this same ever increasing greed xD
It is a fact that you will be tempted to gamble if you see some fancy odds but then again you can control the amount of money you are willing to risk, i am not a big risk taker when it comes to gambling and i will never spent more money for my leisure but there is nothing wrong in wagging small amounts which i usually does and majority looses their money thinking about making a profit, i never consider these as a quick rich scheme.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 07:22:50 AM
At least it will be a consolation if they could avoid the follow on.
Mohammad Rizwan missed his opportunity to score a century by 5 runs and Pakistan lost the match by an innings and 5 runs. If the Pakistan top order can find form then they will have a competitive match, if not the entire series will be one sided and the match will within four days, Australia found a young talent in Marnus Labuschagne and he can bowl some good leg spin too.

New Zealand needs another 7 more wickets to win the match, Santner is bowling really well and took three wickets and i wish he will take a 5 wicket haul here and since he scored a century it will be a good double and i will win the bet  Wink Cheesy.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 24, 2019, 05:20:48 AM
Pakistan  is about to lose the match as they are still 56 runs behind and 4 wickets left. So only thing it is would interesting is that can they make more than 56 runs which will means that OZ has to bat in their second innings or will OZ wrap up by an innings and few runs to win this test match.
Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan played really well in the second innings where none of the Pakistani batsman was not able to score any runs as 4 of their batsman went for single digits and i thought Australia will fold them pretty easily but the resistance they got from the Babar and Rizwan was incredible even though it is for a loosing effort and it can give them the morale for the rest of the series.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 24, 2019, 04:47:28 AM
Samson exclusion looks odd to me, he didn't even got a chance to play a single game and considering Rishabh Pant's recent form, he surely deserved a few chances and not sure what Kedar Jadhav is doing in the ODI squad, he's 34 yo. IMO management should look out for new blood (Shubham Gill).
No mention of Dhoni, guess more speculation on his retirement.
I am really disappointing with the selectors for not giving a chance to players and then excluding which will demotivate any player, he should have given a chance and see how he performs in the international stage and rather than giving him a chance he is excluded in the test series, i used to see these kind of procedures in the past where players will be selected for tours and not play a game and then gets excluded.
