1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase Holds a Whopping 966,230 Bitcoin ($7B) in Cold Wallet on: December 02, 2019, 02:49:09 PM
According to recent reports, Coinbase has a whopping 966,230 Bitcoin in its cold wallet. The exchange is increasingly becoming like a ‘bank’ which stores a growing number of deposited cryptocurrency assets.

Other exchanges lag behind Coinbase, but still have sizeable cold wallets from its depositors and own funds. BitMEX has around 265,140 BTC ($1.94B) while Bitstamp comes in third with 229,490 BTC ($1.67B). Other top exchanges by assets under its custody are Bitfinex (146,120 BTC), Kraken (136,780 BTC), Bittrex (131,340 BTC), and Coincheck (35,090 BTC)
.
The hackers are monitoring all these exchanges and if they are not careful with their security like binance and the rest of the exchanges then they will run away with the coins and if any of these big exchanges gets hacked then there will be a major shake up in the market and it is even possible that the entire market will crash.

I'm not sure they should be advertising this. I just hope they have really really FIERCE security and are guarding their stash like hawks.
Hackers are looking forward for these stash of coins and if they are not careful with the security then they will be looting everything and we have more hacks in the past and we do not want to hear another major hack yet again.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 02, 2019, 12:06:18 PM
It’s a 3 match’s series and first T20 would be played at Hyderabad . India would face a good challenge as WI is a good T20 playing side .
Anyone expecting a white wash by India as i am not expecting any challenge from West Indies as they are not having Andre Russel, Chris Gayle, Narine and co and they are playing with a relative new team with Pollard as the captain and i am sure the odds for the series will be really low, i hope team India will experiment the new players who are yet to play the match and i want Sanju Samson to play a game.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 02, 2019, 10:34:27 AM
As of now NZ trailing by 5 runs and 2 wickets already gone. Tomorrow we have full 90 overs if rain doesn't pops up, if not then for any win-loss result both teams need to play with T-20 mindset, which is very unlikely IMO but i am open for 0.01% chance.
The match is a draw by the way things are going and rain has played a role in this match and i do not see New Zealand doing anything different to change this match, they will look the play out the balls carefully and England will be looking for pick wickets so that they will have a chance to fight back and win a thriller but the chances are low and if they play according to the situation it is a draw and New Zealand still have a lead on them.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 01, 2019, 06:05:21 PM
Well, I wish the same as well when someone pulls out from the fight I wish there is a replacement for that fighter but I really want a Khabib Nurmagedov fight to be watched next year, I wish I can get that next year, but still looking forward to Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov fight, I am pretty curious about what ay happen in the ring I sure feel so much excitement right now.
There is no doubt the most awaited fight in the entire UFC is Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov and every time the fight is announced the fans gets thrilled to see an epic fight but the fight keeps on getting cancelled at the last moment, last time Khabib pulled out because of weight cutting issues and he was hospitalized and Tony pulled out in the recently scheduled fight because he fell down while promoting the fight in a studio and injured his leg and Tony used to release videos about him kicking an iron post and he got injured tripping over a simple wire inside the studio  Cheesy.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bizarre crash! What cause bitcoin crash?? on: December 01, 2019, 04:53:19 PM
what I think is that if this is manipulation, if you think logically the price of bitcoin will go down and it might be stable at $ 6000- $ 7000 and will switch to altcoin before halving, because after halving all traders and investors will again dominate bitcoin
I did not understand what your trying to say, the volatility will switch to altcoin or everyone will switch their investment to altcoin before halving  Undecided.
The bizarre crashes are nothing new and for the past two years the market was so stable and the people who are in the market for a long time will be surprised to see that kind of stability in the price and right now when we see these kind of volatility everyone is shocked  Cheesy.
Welcome to the bitcoin market and enjoy the volatility.

Practically the weather in Australia is not like that it keep on raining for two days. I am hopeful that Australia will easy win this match tomorrow and with that take the series. Pakistan has a lot to learn from the mistakes in this series and the coach/ captain has some serious business on hand to get this team going.
Pakistan already lost three wickets and Australia just need less than three sessions to pick up the rest of the wickets and finish the match and their in form batsman Babar Azam is back in the pavilion and there is no hope that the rest of the players will score a big ton in the second innings, rain will be another factor as the pitch might offer more swing that will be difficult for the batsman and Australia will win the match even if rain interrupt.
1047  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Manhattan U.S. Attorney Announces Arrest Of United States Citizen For Assisting on: December 01, 2019, 02:57:51 PM
But we can't certain what advise he gives to North Korea though, obviously there will be no videos here. But let's see what US Attorney will present in this case.
I doubt how they collected these information unless they are monitoring every communication, it is interesting how the US attorney will be presenting the case and what evidence they have against him and how they collected those information to begin with and i would like to know these technical things and what is shared to launder money and evade sanctions, is there a magical recipe  Cheesy and i guess they will come up with a finding that North Korea is using bitcoin to counter sanctions Grin.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 01, 2019, 01:58:59 PM
I guess I will get disappointed regarding this because I really want to see a Nurmagomedov fight next year and because this elusive fight doesn't seem to continue, but maybe Khabib will not have any reason pulling out now in my opinion oh! I wish.
If Khabib Nurmagomedov is not injured and if Tony Ferguson pulls out of the fight i am sure the fight will continue as long as there is another opponent taking the opportunity to fight Khabib in a short notice fight as Khabib does not care if there is a short notice replacement like the rest of the fighters and we have seen that in the past when Tony pulled out last time and he was willing to face anyone even with short time replacement.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 30, 2019, 05:22:08 PM
Warner is a player who gets going OZ will end up making a big score . OZ have really the good batsman on top order and the advantage is that he opens the batting so have a good chance to play good amount of balls and make quick runs .
During the Ashes the top order was struggling and Steven Smith was the only player who was consistent throughout the series and the only match he was rested because he was hit on the head by a bouncer, England won the match and it was a very close and interesting one and when ever Smith was in the team they were winning by a big margin even though the openers were failing and in this series Smith did not even get a chance to perform as the openers are in tremendous form.
1050  Economy / Exchanges / Re: another crypto exchange hacked on: November 30, 2019, 04:09:17 PM
Major South Korean crypto currency exchange Upbit has notified users of the theft of 342,000 Ether (ETH) from It's hot wallet via a on site notice.
Upbit CEO, Lee Seok-woo has pledged to cover losses (342,000 ETH) through corporate asset and have already moved crypto assets held in its hot wallet to cold storage.
Every couple of months we will be hearing a new exchange hack and millions of coins being stolen by the hackers and there is no clear idea on how we will stop hearing these huge losses.

Deposits and withdrawals will take at least two weeks to resume, with Lee Seok-woo promising to inform users as soon as they reopen,
I think there is nothing secure.
Does that mean that none of the depositors will be loosing any money and if that is the case it is a great thing and a rapid change from the past hacks where they will shut the exchange citing huge lose and the depositors will be sharing the loss.
1051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 30, 2019, 03:23:52 PM
It seems your assumption is wrong this month the price of Bitcoin does not reach $9000, and I myself think about the price in December that the price will not be more than $ 9,000, the price will probably be stable at $8000- $8500. Try to remember this speculation later.
The price of bitcoin will hover around $6400 and $10k for the most part before halving and after that we might even see a correction before the big rally starts, the market usually behaves like that and we might even see a push to break the all time high valuation around the time of the halving and then the market might go down, i am speculating like everybody because that is what i want the market to be as i want to make use of this rally.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 30, 2019, 02:59:07 PM
The reason behind your point is pretty simple too. Technology has never evolved to this much extent in the past and internet has never been used as much as it is at present. Millennial generation spends most hours of the day surfing internet. They are more comfortable with machines and computers as compare to their adults. This generation also wears the face of future bitcoiners.
The internet is around more than 20 years and not only millennial generation are experts in that, the older generation does outdoor activities too and not to glue in front of the computer all the time but the present generation is different and it will cause many health issues too, obesity in a major issue as they are not interested in outdoor activities nor working out and a healthy general is what we need rather than just nerds who can sit around the computer.
1053  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: is it legal to trade bitcoins in india? on: November 30, 2019, 04:21:43 AM
If I go by the law, bitcoin doesn't have a legal status in India! The central bank had issued a circular that clearly states that your bank can close your account if they find any relation with cryptocurrency! So it is not legal!
The closing of account is for businesses and not for individuals, earlier the companies used to transfer the money to individual users and now RBI have come up with a circular to stop the banks from conducting business with crypto related companies and there is nothing in that circular that says that individual banking account will be closed.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 05:20:15 PM
I don't want to sound misogynistic, but most women don't care about money that much. Also in programming/cryptography the men outweigh the women. At the present moment, to be sincere, it is quite impractical to start using bitcoin instead of cash and you make your life harder because there are not many stores accepting it.
From where i am coming from Women is in the forefront when it comes to programming but cryptography not too much as they are much job oriented and if bitcoin is implemented by the high tech companies then you will see major adoption if not it will be hard to convince the regular hard working population.
It is hard to know the actual women in the crypto market but i assume men overpower that sector.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 29, 2019, 04:43:50 PM
Australian do need to show some hospitality to the visitors.  Undecided
We will start a request tweet to the Australian captain to declare the innings as soon as possible so that the match will not finish soon and Australia will have the opportunity to come back and bat in the second innings  Cheesy. It is great to see that Australia is performing really well, India, New Zealand and Australia are the top performers in Test cricket and if you want to see a good matches we need to have matches between them.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: November 29, 2019, 03:38:52 PM
I have seen the potential growth of crypto here in our country too especially now that they 'hyip' scam becomes minimal as people  has been more aware or it and more become vigilant, and that they already learned their lesson from those past experience of other people, and our government is now open to  make crypto legal and open for public.
There are more scams in the market which are taking place and there are some people who are fighting against them, there are millions of people who are not aware of everything and they are the targets, if a government will regulate the market then you will not see many scams and ponzi in the market because everyone will be aware of the scams.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 29, 2019, 01:39:01 PM
The admin answered me in private messages, and then I see no reason to continue the discussion here. Good luck everyone.
That means you are convinced with the evidence they provided and you are going to withdraw you stance, it was expected as some people need extra ordinary evidence to get convinced that they really got caught and hope you are happy with the evidence they collected against you Tongue . The site is one of the longest running site and if not for their support system to identify scam they will not survive this long.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese football players wear bitcoin wallet QR code T-shirt, popular social net on: November 29, 2019, 09:56:08 AM
There are football players wearing clothes with bitcoin logo and QR code, which represents the address of bitcoin wallet. Scan these QR codes, and others can donate money to the wallet. This two-dimensional code has successfully gained a lot of attention in dithering, and quickly spread throughout the bitcoin community.
So basically he as asking for donation during a football match and i want to know the reason for raising the funds, is he asking for donation for promoting bitcoin or anything else as it is not clear why he was having a QR code in his shirt and if there is a clear answer for that then i would like to know about it.
Next doubt is that how he was able to wear the T shirt and did the team allowed him to do or are they advertising any company.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2019, 05:07:26 PM
if there are other young talents then you need to give them opportunities too and if they are performing well then he will have a slot and if not they will get replaced eventually.
There is a huge pool of talents in India right now and it is a big competition to get in the team and have a permanent position as the bench strength is really huge and if you are not performing or failing for a few matches then there are people waiting to take your position, the only vacant position in the team right now is to find a suitable replacement for Dhoni and it is hard to replace a talent like that i doubt we will see another wicket keeper like him ever again.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: November 28, 2019, 12:52:54 PM
First you have to make an asset management to buy some altcoins and here you buy altcoins that have cheap prices like BAT, ADA, XLM, XRP and others but if you can't trade you have to learn first because trading has a big risk
You can find everyone online and there are more markets now for everyone to trade, the option market is another opportunity for everyone to trade and make a hell lot of money if you are talented enough to study the market strength, so you can begin with a small amount and if you have the time and patience then you can build a huge amount of profit, the risk is always there with every investment but if you are spending time there are plenty to study and improve  and make money trading.
