761  Local / India / Re: Alternatives to lockdown in India? on: April 23, 2020, 09:20:19 PM
This is really serious problem in Sub-Continent as governments never give any solid and positive package to poor and needy peoples most of time they give good benefits to big companies and their own supporters which never help right now lockdown is need of time but sadly no one have some good plan for this as how lower class peoples will surivive if this will go some more long.
This is the real problem if you are not having the vision and the sudden announcement of lock down without any information is the first step that caused all the problem, many would plan on reaching their home town before the country wide lockdown, i am stuck in a harbor and i cannot sign off as i am not able to reach home, things are really bad and there is no way we will be seeing any changes in the situation either and it is really frustrating.

Can a young country like us really afford to go for indefinite lockdown for a single reason like virus? We have more problems to solve than just this.
As long as there is no vaccine or a better medical facility available if more people gets infected what can be done other than locking down the nation, its over a month the entire country is lockdown and after that the number of patients are increasing, just imagine what would happen if there was no lockdown, millions will be infected and till now we have no concrete number on the number of infected.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: April 23, 2020, 08:00:11 PM
It seems to me too early to draw any definite conclusions. The fact that cryptocurrency is not growing now does not mean anything.
The crisis provoked by the coronovirus can be critical, which will lead to large-scale changes on the planet. This may well increase the use of cryptocurrencies.
I am seeing many comments regarding the increase of use of cryptocurrency just because we are undergoing a large scale virus attack but what i do not understand is that which crypto will be able to accommodate all the users.
The solution every country using a dozen crypto as we have thousands of coins in the market Tongue Cheesy.

763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: April 21, 2020, 05:17:22 PM
It depends on which game you're playing. If you play card game like poker, you can win, even on the long run.
It's the same for sport betting, you can win if you have skills for that.
The winning percentage increases with skilled based gambling and chance based gambling depends upon your luck, for me sports gambling is the best form of gambling if you are interested in sports as the output is not determined by the sports book and they cannot determine the outcome, the rest you can have the slightest of doubt even though it depends upon random number generated as you will win in a short period but if you play longer you will loose and i am sure majority who played felt the same experience Wink.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies can now be send without the use of internet. on: April 20, 2020, 11:49:25 PM
This method of sending crypto through sms is already tested however every system has backdoors and supposed to be abused by hackers. So, it is up to the users. If we look sending bitcoin through address, it is also risky because there are copy paste malware who can change your btc address.
These are risk involved when your using a third party to transact, it might be helpful for the less privileged countries where the internet connection is not that great, but the problem still is what happens these third party sites undergo a major hack and the investors are not able to get their investment back, i like these options as it is not new as companies like coinbase already tried that but if you understand the risk involved you will not venture further.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which technology worked in crypto? on: April 20, 2020, 11:06:19 PM
I was scrolling the Icodrops website, I saw there were many ICO projects, and all of them had the world's first and revolutionary technology in the various sector! From medicine to soil, ads to robotics! What happened to them?
It is simple, they made the money and then majority of the projects vanished, you really cannot trust any of these projects promoted by these sites and i never trusted any projects for a long time, i am promoting a project after a very long time because one user took time to compile a list of trusted projects and i am sure he is not having any vested interest to compile the list.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 20, 2020, 09:41:12 PM
The idea was pretty cruel for their leader to come up with depopulation, and I don't think they would do that to their taxpayers. This is not going to be true, China's recovery is pretty fast, their economy isn't down at all, and probably they are mixing up to contain and create vaccine for the world. Every little thing makes the world thinks that China did it all, but do we have that solid proof? because we all got is just dots, merely dots.
The diseases started spreading somewhere around November last year and they have not taken enough steps to curb that nor inform the world about the seriousness of the disease and if they have done that we will not be seeing this kind of chaos all around the globe, but the conspiracy of the idea of depopulation is cruel because their strength is their population.
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will the Halving affect the BTC price? on: April 20, 2020, 09:01:23 PM
If we trace back the previous btc halving, the price obviously rises just after the halving but we don't know how the market reacts on this coming halving event, so we have to take chances of course.
That was the usual market and that is what was expected this time around if the economic situation was strong but things have changed a lot in the past few months and it is eminent that we will be facing an economic crisis and how the bitcoin market will react to the recession is a big question for every bitcoin investor but if you are looking at the grand scheme of things the market will rise and all you need to do is to hold for a much longer period.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We'll know Satoshi Nakamoto when the time comes on: April 19, 2020, 01:19:09 PM
Easy man. I don't think I committed a crime to share my thoughts about people's concern towards the creator of bitcoin.
Anyone who knew about bitcoin is intrigued by the mystic of Satoshi and you are not the only person and you will not be the last person and a simple search will give you thousands of thread with the same thoughts from different users.
As per your thoughts and doubts, Satoshi was active only for a few years and then he disappeared and we are going strong for more than ten years as there are other able developers taking care of the network and development.

we'll all know who he truly is. No matter how discrete it is kept, be it in the next 30 years, we (the world) will definitely know who really built bitcoin.
If Satoshi do not sign in with the initial genesis block then no one is knowing shit even if it takes hundred years Tongue.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: April 18, 2020, 08:50:10 PM
What will happen to hacken ai now? The project planned for IEO on oceanX exchange, damn I did warned them about such exchanges, they only sold 18% of 100% tokens for the IEO in 24hrs, that's a big failure, any solution to this?
Looking at the topic heading i thought that the project failed to produce the results but then they failed to attract investors, these are difficult times and i am not aware of the exchange where they are dealing, unless they are able to explore big exchanges with legit volume it is hard to see someone going to make an investment and to attract the whales you really need to get involved with big exchanges.
770  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 14, 2020, 09:23:08 PM
In Taiwan when the corona outbreak was still in Wuhan, those safe times were used to prepare for the arrival of the virus. Since SARS attacked, Taiwan already has a formal institution that monitors and handles outbreaks. So when the plague in Wuhan became uncontrollable.
This is the same preparation Kerala a state in India took when the outbreak in China is reported because the state had a prior experience with the Nipah virus outbreak and they were able to control it in record time during 2018 and this time when the outbreak was spreading the government took precaution by forming necessary teams to counter the situation well before a positive case was confirmed and so is the reason it is the only state that could flatten the curve, the rest of the countries who were late in identifying the situation are suffereing.
771  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 14, 2020, 08:23:44 PM
Just when we thought that China had banished corona from it’s land suddenly new cases began to pop up at record pace, and now the health experts believe that it could be a second potential wave of Coronavirus in China. At this stage China will once again be forced to go into lockdown
Looking a the events we are having in the past few months i have no idea where this ends, the situation is getting worse every day and when we think that China is under control and i heard they are opening the markets now we hear that the second wave is coming and how many wave we should expect and my doubt is whether the patients who were cleared after getting positive are the ones getting back the virus?  Undecided . The economy will be in chaos even with the current situation and another way could crumble everything as how long can a nation shut down doing nothing.
772  Economy / Economics / Re: US potential Recession and its effect on Cryptocurrency on: April 14, 2020, 06:27:27 AM
Couple days ago, Bloomberg updated their prediction model that they created last year to determine the odds whether USA will plunge into recession within 12 months, and now the chance of a recession stands at 100%, confirming an end to the nation’s longest-running expansion.
This is not the situation that will affected US alone but we are facing a global recession in the next one year, even now many companies are in crisis because we are under a lock down and many companies will be in trouble in the coming months, when the economy crumbles then all the markets will be affected, i am not expecting a huge drop in bitcoin relative to the stock exchange but still we will see the market going down.
773  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 13, 2020, 09:33:05 PM
And yeah, I think the poorest countries are going to get slaughtered economically.  But who knows.  We'll see where we are in a year or so.
We might see a global blood bath we have not seen in a long time and much bigger than the 2008 crisis and the situation in third world countries will be really pathetic, right now we have no idea when the pandemic is going down and how long the government can force everyone to sit at home and do nothing.

The US is safe, of course, except for a large number of victims of the virus. But this is a country with a huge number of citizens, so in percentage terms, this should not be different from other countries.
Even if the US prints huge amounts of dollars, the country will not suffer, precisely because the US has dollars.
After Trump's last announcement of printing 2 billion, the price instead of going down went up, so even if it announces the printing of another 2 billion, nothing bad will probably happen.
You are dreaming, do you have any idea about debt they are having if they keep on printing money how they are going to control the inflation. Printing money will not save any country and it will give the opposite result.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 13, 2020, 08:57:09 PM
This fight will be delayed but will not be cancelled, though maybe you are right that most people don't want to see this 3rd fight, but Wilder only loss once in his career and I think he deserve this as his last chance if the result will be the same, and there are still people who believe in him.
We have seen two fights already and Tyson Fury dominated the first fight even though he got knocked down a couple of times and in the second fight he dominated from the first second till he knocked wilder so that the corner has to throw in the towel if not it would have ended in a knockout either way, the third will be interesting but i would rather watch Joshua and Fury.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 13, 2020, 08:09:49 PM
^^ I am in favor, If BCCI deducts even 50% or 100% salary for National team but they should take care of domestic players as they don't earn much and their livelihood depended on BCCI only.
That is a fair assessment and even if they deduct 100% of the salary of the nation team members that is not a big deal as the amount of salary they earn per match is really high and then the annual contract as well as sponsorship along with the IPL but they need to take care of lower wagged players as well as domestic players.
The situation is getting worse globally as well as in India and i am not expecting we will see any sporting events anytime soon.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: April 12, 2020, 10:49:42 PM
Well, this pandemic is perhaps may open the door for the decentralized economy but for that lots of things need to be done. It is definitely will take the unspecific time that all government wants to decentralize their economy since it can't happen with one country many countries need to agree in this and make it legal. Not only in the crypto market had been an experienced crisis at this moment, but the global market has also been affected. Indeed, let's do hope that this will stop early and not getting worst.
How can a government allow a decentralized economy after a pandemic, i did not understand the logic behind it, the economy will be affected globally as the virus has halted many business for months and the amount of loss that every business owner has to bear is immense and it has nothing to do with decentralization and i have no idea how the government will recover from this recession.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: at binance from March, 12 up to now someone spent 600 mln usd to buy btc on: April 12, 2020, 09:37:20 PM
at binance from March, 12 up to now (April, 11) someone bought bitcoin and spent 600 mln usd to keep bitcoin at price from 7,200  up to current 6,800
Why would anyone planning to accumulate a huge amount of bitcoin send money to an exchange and then purchase the coins, not sure from where you got these information but if anyone is spending huge amounts of money to accumulate the coin they will use the over the counter services which would be much easier of any large whale rather than waiting to purchase from an exchange.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 11, 2020, 05:09:11 PM
Btw, private island wont save them from being infected with the virus.

Recently about 100 of french marines got infected. Their flagship visited port only for 1 day to reload good/food. None of the marines got contact with someone from land (everything was delivered to port, later sailors just brought-in the cargo). In few days about 100 marines got confirmed covid-19....
This is scary as i thought it would be safe as we mariners are not in contact with anyone outside and right now my ship is anchored near a port and these sort of news really scares me. No plans of signing off now because the country is under lockdown and i embarked last month thinking everything will be fine in a few months Undecided.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: April 10, 2020, 10:21:52 PM
The world economy has crashed already what we now have is a cosmetic economy. The real game players know it's game over and they are already buying tangible asset while they leave the dead economy for they who are not financially literate. Robert T. Kiyosaki already advised who cares to buy Silver, gold and bitcoin as we will see inflation in the coming days.
This is the first time i am hearing the term cosmetic economy  Cheesy. You cannot claim that the economy has collapsed already, we might see a collapse in the near future and the situation is like that when the entire world is paused because of the pandemic and how each and every government try to sort the issues determines how the market will be next year.
