661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 27, 2020, 08:23:39 PM
The Kucoin administration assures its clients that it will reimburse all losses incurred due to the hacking of the exchange. This is, of course, a very good indicator of the responsibility of the administration of the cryptocurrency exchange, and besides, it will positively affect future prospects so that users do not turn away from Kucoin because of this event.
It is no doubt a good gesture to reimburse the lost coins to its customers and when binance was hacked they too took the same decision and what i do not understand is that none of the hacks that happened in several exchanges in the past 8 years the authorities nor the exchanges was not able to recover those lost coins which is not a good sign in the long run.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: September 27, 2020, 07:26:54 PM
This would make my life amazing if it happens but come on -  we know this is not a realistic price prediction.
My accurate Prediction is ETH price to be closer to 400$.
The price of $400 is around the corner and if the market is not going through a major correction then those price valuation is not a big deal. It is really hard for me to predict the cryptocurrency valuation, i never expected the price of ETH to rise after the last correction but it started rising even if we could come up with many reasons why it is reasons including DeFi hype.

@SaShuRaJaVu I’m not a much into stats, but yes these three legendary Indian player’s really used to trouble Australia and England bowlers a lot even in away games. Also Rahul Dravid is called the wall for a reason, and who can forget Laxman’s love for Australian bowler’s because he used to always score against them.
The lack of match winning bowlers outside India was the main reason India had a terrible record outside India, India always had great batsman throughout history and India was always a great team in India on the strength of its spinners but over seas you need genuine pace or swing bowlers to pick wickets.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 27, 2020, 04:07:59 PM
To successful chase everything needs to be a perfect and little bit of luck. Rajasthan has fair amount of firepower in their arsenal, if their 2 batsmen click here then they could chase down this target.
Even if they start really well i think it is a tall task to chase down 223 runs. I am having a hard task predicting the IPL teams and i am in the bottom position and i am going to loose this match too  Cheesy.

Buttler and Sanju are beast so watch out.
Butler is gone, i wish to watch Sanju bat, but sadly i can only see the updates.

I don't agree. Laxman, Dravid, Sachin.etc were legendary players. But they failed very frequently while playing abroad, especially in England and Australia. If you check the stats, then you can see that the current Indian team has the highest win percentage for test matches that were played outside the Indian sub-continent. Back then, the batsmen were world class. Now both the batsmen and the bowlers are among the world's best.
Since you are talking about stats, do you know Sachin averages 53.2 in Australia and 54.31 in England on the other hand Dravid averages 38.68 in Australia and 60.94 in England while Laxman averages 44.14 in Australia and 34.47 in England. India had good batting line up but the bowlers were weak and if you look at the current team they had the best bowlers in world cricket who are able to trouble any team.

Why would Binance would collabe with Paytm? I am not sure whether WazirX is also allowing the same service.
I understand Paytm bank is different from Paytm wallet but a wallet is linked to a bank account. Is there a hidden agenda that Paytm is conspiring?
Why would they conspire as these sort of advertisement and luring users and then fighting a legal battle will get them in trouble rather than other way around. Binance and WazirX are one as they purchased them.

I would request fellow members not to use this service as anything can happen to your Bank account.
I will not accept Paytm from strangers, but i wont worry if i am doing it to my personal accounts in cryptocurrency exchanges and to my bank account. I am not using Paytm as they wanted me to visit their office and verify my identity and hence never bothered to do anything about that.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: UK’s economy will lose a good amount of money if football clubs shut. on: September 25, 2020, 11:18:42 PM
they no longer need to close football matches because they can still be done without spectators..
What about small clubs that get their revenue from ticket sales, you need revenue to flow in to continue with the tournament and if these clubs are not getting the revenues in the form of advertisement then they will cease to exist and hence it is a growing problem for many smaller clubs around the world, unless they find an alternative solution to get that money they will be forced to shut down.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 20, 2020, 06:22:11 PM
I picked Punjab to win the match and it was really close and if not for that big shots when they just need a run to win the match they would have won it easily, but i did not understand this super over, only 3 balls bowled, is it because they lost 2 wickets and they already lost 8 wickets in the match, was this the rule from the beginning.
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it now when ethereum is down? on: September 19, 2020, 11:17:13 PM
Yeah it could be, some people might not be willing to use ethereum as of the moment due to continue rise in fees brought by the over hype for DeFi projects running on ethereum network. But the price of ethereum is significantly high compare to its price 3 months before, it doubled up actually gaining strong stand in the market right now. Wait til the upgraded version comes out and see the power of ethereum, altcoin king!
People are using ETH and providing it as liquidity for these new projects and hence the price started gaining momentum and other than that no one will be using it as the transaction charges are high and everyone is hoping that the development team will roll out their updates so that all these bottleneck issues will be sorted.

Thanks bro.

Oh man CSK won the match. -_- That little Cameo from Sam Curran made the difference in last. I was confident untill than that MI will win. Congratulations who got the points in the 1st match.
The sad part is i wont be able to watch the matches, just going through the live updates. I never thought Sam Curran could bat and when MSD promoted him i thought it was a blunder.

Good start for MSD and CSK.

Edit: Mitchell Marsh castled by Jofra Archer. Advantage England now.
The bookmakers are still favoring Australia to win the match and placing a bet on England @2 odds is a good bet because if England is able to pick either Alex Carey or Glenn Maxwell then England will win the match as one more wicket will expose the Australian fragile tail. I thought Australia could win the match without much trouble but it looks like the pitch is really difficult to bat.

Edit: Glenn Maxwell is gone and now its England's match to level the series.
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many Max supply of Ethereum there will ever will be? on: September 12, 2020, 09:05:12 PM
Currently Eth is POW and its changing to Eth 2.0 POS.
Whats the max supply of Eth 2.0 there ever will be?
If theres no max supply then Eth is just like fiat money right where many tokens can be created or will Eth will say unlimited supply but not inflationary but in slow gradual inflation?
The prime example why you cannot take ETH as a currency, there is no hard cap for the number of coins in existence and right now there are over hundred million coins mined and as everyone knows it is a heavily premined coin and now the resurgence in the name of DeFi and i wonder how long it will last as there will be regulatory issues because of the business model.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold Strong!!! on: September 12, 2020, 08:00:17 PM
Weak people sell their cryptos when they see dump, strong people buy cryptos when they see dump because they know what is the right time to enter into the market but it is not going to work for short term goals.
This is the common cliché we hear day in and day out when ever we see the market having a correction, first everyone who carry on with these cliché words should understand that the market cannot go up all the time, it is a finite journey and when ever the price rallies you need to be smart enough to book your profit and have the intelligence of entering once again.

Everyone who is not able to follow these finite rules will come up with a cliché of shaking of the weak hands, the market is 10 years old and people need to built their intelligence and understand these finer parts about a market and that the shake will continue for centuries to come.

Who is Mr. Srinivasan, and what does he think he is? Raina has already clarified to the media that he is pulling out of the tournament for personal reasons (his uncle recently got murdered). He does have the right to do so, although he may lose the salary for this year.

If this is how he treats a player who has represented his team (CSK) for more than a decade, then I really pity on Mr. Srinivasan. Perhaps this is not surprising from a man, who took part in match fixing during the IPL, and then got off with a lenient punishment thanks to his political connection.

Any other franchise owner would have stood by the player, during this difficult time. But what to expect from Srinivasan, who has disowned his own son?
You never know the real story and if there are conflicting stories it is really difficult to understand the real issue, if his relatives passed away due to a horrible incident none of the players will take a long leave, they might miss a few matches but then return and join the team and that is usually what we used to see in the past, may be a culmination of reason forced Raina to take this decision.

This did not happen this time and England win this match with ease and with that few people here on bitcointalk lost the bet  Sad

England showed today that they are a much better team and they never let Aussies to take control of the match.
Even after seeing the first matching i knew England could win the match and it was confirmed when Australia started their innings and Warner went for a duck and then the rest of the players started walking back to the pavilion without troubling the scoreboard. Australia need to find some new players who can attack until then they cannot stand a chance against teams who have attacking players who could clear the boundary with ease.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BBC Sports Personality 2020 on: September 05, 2020, 09:57:18 PM
Who do you think will win the award? It seems that Tyson Fury is the likeliest winner. He's been favorite for this award since February, and he's still holding the status. Would you call putting some mbtc on him a safe bet?
If it is a fair selection then Tyson Fury should get the BCC sports personality of the year as he returned after a long hiatus after struggling with mental issues and substance abuse and then return and defeated Wilder who many considered to be one of the heaviest puncher of all time and to defeat him in a dominating fashion and bring eyes back to boxing Tyson Fury should get that honors.

Speaking of IPL franchise fan following, RCB has the most loyal fan base IMO. Virat & co lose their mojo in every season but it doesn't matter to their fans, they just want to watch Virat-AB combination and ofc pissing off Rohitians.  Grin
Have to disagree here. RCB does have a passionate fanbase who keeps cheering for their team without ever giving up which is phenomenal and worth appreciating, but CSK has the most loyal fanbase in my opinion among all the clubs.

The CSK fans are absolutely insane in a good way. This fanbase is the primary reason why MSD and crew continue to perform consistently year after year.

CSK is not my favorite, but I admire their fanbase. They never gave up on their team despite the 2 year ban. They even attend their training sessions in hordes.
I also agree with you that CSK has loyal fan base and i might be biased on this but i have seen these kind of fan base in Mumbai too but not sure about the rest of the teams as i have not visited them during IPL but i know how crazy people will be during the match in Chennai and Mumbai and everyone will be wearing their jersey in the streets even if they are not having the ticket.
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 30, 2020, 08:24:20 PM
first of all, I want to say that the schedule is not confirmed yet. so, we don't know that when the series will be held. but if the series will be held in England, then England will beat India easily.  because all England teams bowlers are on form now.  and they will get a little more opportunity than India on their own pitch.  on the other hand, Bairstow, Morgan, Root are on form now. we all know that they are just destructive batsman.
West Indies won a match against England and Pakistan came close to winning the first Test and India has a much better bowlers and batsman than these team, it will be really close if they play even in England and India has the world class bowlers to trouble any team. England beating India easily will be a dream and it would be interesting how Bairstow Morgan and Root will play against Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Umesh Yadav.

I am not totally agreed with the statement. Zimbabwe cricket board is wealthier than the Australian cricket board, but in last decade we have rarely seen any good progress of the Zimbabwe cricket team.
Shocked Zimbabwe cricket board is wealthier than Australian board, how come it is possible. How can you even compare these two countries in terms of wealth and the wealth distribution they get from cricket, if you are talking about the revenue share they get from the ICC if it is another aspect but there is no way a failed country financially like Zimbabwe will have more money than the Aussies.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 29, 2020, 11:57:16 PM
My prediction is just $600 at the end of the year and right now the price is quiet far from my prediction but since the market is unpredictable, we can say that the anything can happen and the $1k price can still be rich. If there’s a good effect of DeFi projects to ETH, then expect the price of ETH will become expensive once the market continues the trend.
For everything to make sense the developers needs to successfully roll out the updates they are promising as the transaction charges on ETH are really high and people will find similar alternatives if it continue like this. The DeFi hype is a good opportunity for the market to recover but everything needs to be aligned to see a huge rally.
