Will there be a development update as to progress so far?
Yes. We're planning to reveal project highlights with R&D progress once we get all the exchanges and supporting services updated. This was planned for Nov 5th but the delay with Kucoin and other exchanges along with supporting services like coinmarketcap, coincap etc has derailed the scheduled update. In the spirit of transparency and without going into too much of the technical details which will be reserved for whitepaper here's the main features we're working on: - Improved Ring Signatures - Improved Stealth Addresses - Native i2pd Routing - Improved Hashing Algorithm - Improved GUI wallet The cryptographers on the research team are still working to further improve the designs through peer review. It should be noted these designs are unique to the new codebase and represent a massive leap forward for the technology. In a future update we'll be providing a more detailed overview of the new features and comparative analysis over other Cryponote projects. If you want to help out, put pressure on supportive services to update all relative Boolberry listing information i.e. coin supply, block explorer, ticker, exchange listing. stocks exchange switching the ticker and breaking the old URL may have delayed things with some of those market cap sites. I'll try to update them what will the upgrade path be? and I'd like to see the new codebase |

I requested Coinmarketcap, Coincap.io and Worldcoinindex to update Boolberry information, so that we can get accruate price information via API for all the tertiary services people use for accounting and monitoring.

We seen different ticker everywhere.
Some using BBR and some XBB.
Can anyone tell me which one is correct?

BBR is the original ticker although it's listed on coinmarketcap as XBB. I have no opinion either way which ticker is used but it does create some confusion since this is the main thread and its using BBR for identification. I messaged coinmarketcap to ask them to change the ticker back to BBR and update the coin supply since they are still using the offline mingergate explorer but they never did. If anyone in the community wants to take up this task here's the information: Coinmarketcap Contact: https://coinmarketcap.com/request/ Current coin supply API: http://explorer.mining.blue/q/supply/10648593.638334142044 Asking because we have debate if we should call it XBB or BBR. Maybe ask clint to specify what should we use for market creations. For Bitcoin some exchanges use BTC some use XBT. At the end of the day its up to you which you want to use. I'd say it would lessen confusion if we go with BBR and have coinmarketcap change the ticker. On the flipside, if zoidberg can change the ticker here to XBB then that would resolve the identity confusion. Clintar's explorer shows "XBB" but that's an easy change back to BBR. We're planning on rebranding with the fork anyways to separate this codebase from the new one so ultimately BBR or XBB won't matter. stocks.exchange listed it as XBB , and these guys are just looking for an executive decision what ticker/name do you have in mind for the new codebase? still curious how a new chain is going to get all of our boolberry balances in it easily |

Good to hear! Thanks for the constant updates. So that is Simply Payment Verification? - trusted nodes allowing Sync to run a lite wallet? I've been trying to research and understand. Yes, precisely yep! @1blockologist these plans have to remain in stealth mode, but the basic stuff has to happen either way, like electrum clients being run, hopefully people will help get the electrum client set up and I'll host 2 or 3 electrums servers in different data centers. an OSX and Linux QT client was never compiled either. |

i believe in boolb project and support network by hashing,but this cannot continue indefinitely.as we all know any coin without exchange is trash.
after all, it has already announced about listning on several exchanges.is it really so hard to decide ram problem?really exchanges are not able to solve this problem?i don't believe it.
i think if exchanges came for it,they should do it.with clearly defined due dates and mandatory updates if something goes wrong.otherwise they should clearly state that can't or don't want to do that. and not to take people for a ride.
yeah, agreed, just more word from the exchanges would be good. Kucoin is a month late My exchange is new but we agree to list your coin. Working hard to make things happen. We do have already full node running. True is that a lot of resources this coin need to work. But we are in progress of creating markets for it. thanks for your work and thanks for the update |

Exactly. Is the interface actually any different from Monero, which has been on lots of exchanges for aeons? (Pun intended -- Aeon is even closer to BBR in some ways including the RAM issue, though it's only in a few exchanges now.) Its much closer to Aeon There are a significant number of RPC/API functions that are missing our outdated, compared to Monero but these things didn't prevent it being listed at one point, or other cryptonote coins |

What's this then? https://news.kucoin.com/en/kucoin-will-list-boolberrybbr-on-31st-october/They are obviously behind their schedule, as deposits are still not enabled. But there's also no news about them giving up the listing. I'm not exactly hodling my breath, but they're the first exchange to publicly announce BBR listing (not just private communication) in a long time, so I'll give them a chance. Kucoin is still working on the listing. There's been a couple of setbacks in their integration timetable ranging from the DDoS attack to request for daemonization which were added in the last few commits. https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/commits/masterAt the moment we're waiting on their lead developer to finish integration so that deposits can be opened. The limited supply of SYNC once had that effect on me.
I like to aim for getting 5-7% or upwards of 10% of the float on my activist investments, which are always very low valued and illiquid cryptos Gotta keep the $ amount low and the cost basis low as well. Interesting challenges |
