any bounty dev
There are no bounties yet as there is no dev fund yet. The prior dev CryptoZoidberg has unilateral collection and administration of the dev fund, formed via donations and a network tax. You can talk to him about it, moving forward we would like collaborate on the collection and administration, but we're not there yet.

maybe i can manage Tweeter account News for BBR?
they are account official for New BBR?
and New Logo maybe?
I haven't been able to reach the existing twitter account holder, but we can make a new one just as well, Coinmarket cap won't list the prior twitter account anyway even though they link to this thread now for announcement. So feel free to just make a new one I thought about a new logo, like a crystal shard with a fossilized berry inside of it, but this is the first time anyone has brought it up

Currently working on the light client
Primarily a full node in a virtual machine that everyone can connect their wallet to, instead of the bool berry client locally.
We will also make a disk image so other people can start their own cloud based nodes for more distributed nature and additional privacy if preferred

Don't mind me, just putting on my replies to list.
Is 1blockologist associated with windjc? I seem to remember that rune was a windjc suggestion, and now that is the version name plus he's posting here already...
No he is not. And RUNE was a CZ suggestion. I smiled though when I read the paper tonight. I appreciated 1blockologist mention of that word, like it told a chapter of the crazy story of BBR that included such persistent trolls as yourself. I am posting on this thread because I'm pleased there is a roadmap finally and am eager to see if the new developer is as competent and organized as he seems like he might be. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it jwinterm gave me mod status of the /r/boolberry reddit, I run that now, so lets chill with the old problems everyone here has helped me so far with the vision, the plan is to usher in a more collaborative era of blockchain development, lets leave amateur hour in 2014 and ideally everyone can cooperate with that lets just focus on the technology, roadmap and price speculation

Who are they? Forming an OTC market in an alt coin
We'll be checking post history etc

Since you're the biggest holder of BBR it might be nice for you to work with new developer in his market cap goal. You guys can be integral to our OTC market Going to reach out to some trusted btc escrow agents.

@MBK what are the specs of the compute instance you are running your mining pool on? I was looking at the node-cryptonote-pool project, and also saw your problems with DDOS
If you can also detail the cloud infrastructure around it (like if you are using a cloudfront type balancer), that would be helpful too!

Are you referring to the rally up from the lowest $50k market cap to the $500k market cap?

Ok so I would like to make some observations regarding BBR from a TA PoV. I think it has bottomed for good and it is trying to break above the bear trend. The following observations lead to this: 1) 2h 200MA is broken and now acts as support (just check at Polo) 2) The double bottom at 2000 satoshi 3) The congestion area and the spikes above it (like boiling water) 4) The green bullish supports building up a new bullish trend 5) The orange thick diagonal line is the bearish resistance from the ATH and we are very close to breaking it (after that, this chart will be officially in a bull trend). A new X column would need to reach at 0.0006 to break it There is plenty of room upwards, let's hope BBR will be Bullberry for the following months (or years)! There is also a BBR XMR market on poloniex, low volume, but do you incorporate that into your analysis as well?

Thanks for your work. Let's continue moving this way. Make commits to your repository so I and everybody else can review them. The most urgent task for me is to merge DB branch from the original repository to master. Daemon needs a lot of memory to run right now. That's not good for a decentralized system. I would prefer you to checkout DB branch and commit on top to make the review process simpler.
DB is really important task, and idea was to quickly implement basic db support in BBR using level_db, but to go forward problem is that level_db doesn't have transactions support, so we need to go with something like LMDB, which means to rewrite current code in db branch. I guess this gonna take about 1 month of hard work. (but not a hard fork! don't be confused) So if 1blockologist is about to implement something useful for BBR - implement working daemon with suitable memory consumption using LMDB would be good move. Zoidberg You're right, that would be a good move to do now instead of later. Monero team spent forever working on extra code to help people transition their current blockchain download into the database version, after having working database code for new users for months. Doing the LMDB stuff now while Boolberry doesn't have many users on the client would be ideal

I need to make it clear what valuation the Blockchain Development Company sees in Boolberry: a $50,000,000 market cap.
This would mean today that the price of BBR would have to go to around 0.0065. Believe it or not, this was the best case scenario I gave (medium term) for BBR to my subscribers some minutes before I read this!! You MFers...... There are about 8 million BBR in circulation. Which means a $50 million cap is around .01 not .0065. Although this may seem like an improbable outcome from a technical analysis perspective We are using forms of fundamental and quantitative analysis to make our assessments. By addressing both the utility, and the scarcity, we can estimate the market cap improvements based on the known supply and future demand. Disproportionally deep resistance walls on the order books will come from people not sharing our analysis, which I will post details about soon, what we can do in the near term is organize OTC trading facilities and encourage proper storage of boolberry off of the exchanges.

Hi all,
I've got a number of private messages lately. I don't like private chats. It's better to give all answers here in public.
I'm trying to keep my pool online all the time cause I use it myself a bit. All pending payments are sent in all case. The only real DDOS attack was this August. It finished about a week ago. All connection issues should be resolved.
If you have problems with pool/miner apps post it here so you can get help from other guys who mine as well.
Regarding new development activities. You can count on me if some updates need to be deployed on the pool. Just keep development open so everybody can evaluate your proposals/code and give a feedback. Have any ideas how to handle possible forks? Post it here. Let's keep this discussion as open as possible.
I'm not going to actively participate in current discussion but I'll read all feedback.
You have 75% of the network and I have made the first commit the Boolberry project has seen in a year. You are the longest chain, you can build from my source or not. At this point in time I am open to accepting pull requests from Zoidberg into the Blockchain Development Company repository, and further collaboration as he also understands the cryptonote codebase, but make no mistake, the choice is completely yours. I have been attempting to reach out to all of the infrastructure of Boolberry, including your pool, to establish confidence in the project. A further announcement is incoming, but for now, I need all participants in the Boolberry project to understand their role in the network and work together, and you have a greatly disproportionate influence on the direction of the network. The code is on github. I'm actually pursuing an intermediary system: hosting a remote synced client and allowing people to connect their simplewallet to that. Can you help with that since you are already hosting a node server and full mining node, people need to understand that this still gives them no perks to privacy. We will be promoting more decentralized efforts, but our immediate goal is getting BBR off of the exchanges, and we will upgrade that to promoting greater decentralized after.

We need to address the exchanges, at least 20% of Boolberry is sitting on the order books at Poloniex. Meaning quite a bit more is stored there. We consider that part of a multi-pronged problem:
I am aware of several BBR holders that own a significant portion of the float and may present delays in the exchange rate rising to respectable heights. I need to make it clear what valuation the Blockchain Development Company sees in Boolberry: a $50,000,000 market cap.
We will be addressing: utility, and scarcity. Right now, Boolberry has neither, and its utility decreases daily as the blockchain grows and sits in RAM, and its scarcity is low because over 20% of the float is sitting on exchange order books in the form of limit orders, partially because prior holders are looking for an exit.
We will be diving more into this with our policy and roadmap document, but I need everyone to understand what we are aiming for here. tl;dr: HODL
If your company takes care of the code we will take care of the rest. Don't even look at the price right now, it is irrelevant at this stage. I don't take that quip lightly because I know some people are going to call it a pump, going to start calling me Barry Silbert etc. I think you all need to know the ethos and observation of the Blockchain Development Company and I am going to make that very clear. Our roadmap is going to show exactly what is intended to get it to the $50,000,000 market cap, and it isn't merchant adoption and e-commerce. We are activist investors pushing through reforms on this network, directly by coding it and getting network sentiment for our code. And I don't want bagholders getting in the way of that before Boolberry is able to attract organic capital. This is a side effect of adopting an existing network, something that doesn't happen often, and we need to address the quirks of this unique opportunity for what they are, not dance around them while old investors depress the price and prevent garnering the attention that attracts more talent and capital. I understand the motivations people have with accidental long term investments, and I want to address them and get them in line with our vision. Any large stakeholders are welcome to PM for trading off the books.
Great, we are in the process of trying to set up an OTC trading desk with trusted escrow agents here on bitcointalk, as well as integration into Bitsquare
