What did Cryptozoidberg do in the meantime? Become rich with Monero?  I mean good to see him back. I just remember some XMR people trying to convince him to join them, but that is crypto ages ago I think. Ahaha, nope. I actually never got any official invitations from Monero, and at another hand never considered it as a plan by myself. And I haven't become rich, but got some worth from crypto elevation, like most of the people who are quite long in crypto. I was just working on another crypto-project, that's it! you sure? I get "failed to read wallet" on some compiles, try moving your wallet file and instead opening your wallet's .key file |

I get this sometimes that I start the client, and then never get blocks
I am also getting "failed to read file" now, when trying to open simplewallet

I have mentioned this before as well.
I am not sure why the clintar version will not work either.
A little disappointing especially for new people maybe wanting to participate.
again, is it possible to have someone compile a working version for the non computer programing literate.
or can some one give step by step instructions.
I had posted my error message a while ago but no one has helped to point me in the direction that would resolve my errors. someone else might benefit.

Hi doggod, As CZ mentioned in his post, he is working on a new build that will address the synchronization issues. His seed node commit was a first step towards fixing this issue. He asked to give him a couple of days to get this done then he'd update the website with new binary packages (an application package which contains (pre-built) executable, as opposed to source code). After this no one should be experiencing any issues getting started with the wallet. I hope this helps clarify the situation. I compiled https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry.git and was able to sync from both linux and osx ./boolbd --add-priority-node 5.9.44.154:10101. Clintar's source at https://github.com/clintar/boolberry/releases/tag/v0.3a wouldn't let me fully sync. The precompiled Windows version in the zip file sync's though. Hope this helps. using priority node instead of seed node is working for me, tentatively |

its not working, I'm not getting new blocks I even compiled CZ's master branch from source and launched with all these seed nodes, not getting anything. I'm on OSX High Sierra, wonder if that has something to do with it |

its strange, nothing is allowing me to sync with new blocks I compiled clintar's source from Oct 11th and ran with CZ's latest seed nodes ./boolbd --seed-node 88.99.193.104:10101 --seed-node 138.201.126.98:10101 cant get above the block height I start with, which is 868290 |

Hi. Found out about the XDB (..Or is it now BOAT?) project and realized I had some BBR gathering dust in my Bittrex account. Can someone who is more in the loop please answer a few questions  1. Has there been any info on the possible date of the HF? 2. If there's a hard fork coming, what should I do to be eligible to receive my XDB/BOAT? 3. I assume that the above includes keeping my BBR in the BBR wallet. However, when trying to download the BBR wallet from the link at http://boolberry.com/downloads.html it redirects to a SourceForge.net (<- not providing a link on purpose here) download page that warns about potential malware in both wallet installer and .zip files. I know that many cryptowallets give false positives, but I'm a bit wary here since the BBR project is half dead and all.. I can see there's a GitHub page for BBR at https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry, but the last wallet release is from 2014 and v. 0.1 opposed to the v. 0.3.0.41 at the SourceForge download link. Clintar’s github has the latest source code to compile from source Boat is a different currency that isnt listed and that team won't be using doubloon |

As for your statement that nobody that has the same affinity. Its just you, your team. I can tell you that's not the case, I've spoke to many who only are involved waiting on his return. People will have concerns swapping for a new coin if that was the reason they bought in originally. Until Zoidberg makes a statement regarding recent developments they will probably still be sitting on the fence.
@1block are you still willing to contribute to the same level you offered Zoidberg towards the end(once realized you had no developers) to B4H4? eg social media etc?
The swap is not an option thats already been scrapped, it doesnt make much sense on a cryptonote coin The only thing that is feasible is a fork upgrade Not blindfolded maybe a little hyperbole, but I dont like good plans changing into bad plans Yes we have decent infrastructure to help on social media |

We should want to wait long enough to see if in fact CZ has updates to the existing codebase
there is no scenario where that make senses compared to what doubloon offers. the hashrate will follow the fork. Monero forks to upgrade all the time! We can do this, B4h4mu7 your team has complete control here. Nobody will hold it against you if you have to double back on what you said, I get it, you don't want to step on Zoidberg's toes, but there is nobody left that has the same affinity. +1 for the hard fork. There is nothing stopping CZ from making his updates "after" the hard-fork. This community has been loyal and patient. A hard-fork is the best way for us to have an opportunity to be involved with both projects. +1 for the fork
