hey we need to do something with that block orphan/reject rate.. this is really annoying to get 20 blocks in a row rejected/orphaned

I'm at 3.5% orphan rate on my pool.
orphans are not the biggest problem. rejected blocks are.

Pool Efficiency: 89.52% , about 10% stale/reject from the miners, pretty good considering a 1 second latency on a 10 second block is 10%.

WDC Network Latency + Poolserver Workgen Latency + Pool<-->Miner Latency + Miner CPU to GPU Latency (Can be large with high intensity)

Edit: I'm not trying to be showoff or anything, just suggesting that it's possible to do with better configs.
i have made my trick to rejected blocks. i'm just ignoring them for now, reassigning shares from those to the next round.

Should get the scammer label. He trolls on all coins, He is the developer of the poor bitbar, and instead of trying to make his coin better try to make other looks worst.
And now he is scamming people with a fake address.

Report it.

Win 7 Pro, logged on with full administrative rights:

I've downloaded the windows qt client wallet for Worldcoin from here: http://worldcoin.in/download/

I unzipped it and executed it from that folder, it shows up in my system tray, I can see it running in task manager, but it will not sync with the network, no attempt to sync, at all.

I see a worldcoin folder in C:\Users\LoggedOnUser\AppData\Roaming\Worldcoin and this folder looks to have created itself and all its components without an issue.

My BTC wallet works fine, LTC wallet works fine, CNC wallet works fine, FTC wallet works fine and have received and exchanged and sent with all of those wallets, and have solo mined with some of those as well.

Only the BTC and the LTC wallets are running at this time on this machine, but the WDC wallet makes no attempt to sync.

Thoughts, suggestions?

No fighting, it does no good.  There will be plenty of WDC to go around! Also, please don't push WorldCoin to an exchange yet.  Give it a week or so for it to gain traction.  I believe we have a good one here. Let's not ruin it.

Yes I agree going to hold out for the Exchange push. Going to start with some support websites and service. Also some BitGem games show your support Donate your WorldCoin WDC: WW6QnCLnNCBGFWJrcoLF4ziFjfURQKhEjW

will go to securing WorldCoin WDC  Future !!!

-Websites
-Games
-To bter BTC-e and custom BitGem echanges

3 more donations thank you so much!!!! getting the ball rolling on WDC

This has been happening with me more and more with these alt coins. BTC and LTC work. FTC works sometimes but I have not been able to connect with anything else. Do I need to set up a config file or is that just for mining?

LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO, TruCoin WAS TROLLING WORLDCOIN HARD, TRYING TO DEGRADE IT.
WORLDCOIN ALREADY HAS A BOUNTY DONATION ADDRESS, CHECK THE FIRST POST OF THIS THREAD
TrueCoin is not in any way affiliated with the official WorldCoin bounties.

I don't have problem. The worst I had, was to wait 30 sec to have some connections established. Once this is done, the sync process will happen, taking minutes to complete.

He is trolling only, nobody sent him any donation. Check time of my post, when a blockchain explorer get online we can see if really he got any donation at all.

You are using Windows 7 Pro, or are you just supplying general information of success? Are you specifically directing your comment to some post, or just supplying general information to the thread of your individual success with the wallet client?

Maybe a port is blocked/used.

I ran netstat -aon, after finding the PID in task manager, and visually checked to make certain there were no port configuration conflicts, none. It did show that UPnP, (selected by default in the wallet options), has assigned a port to the process, and it was listening. I attempted a local host socks mapping to a free port in the Worldcoin client, no juice, went back to the UPnP mapping, checked everything again, no love.
