WTH is going on?

The net hashrate is dropping a lot. The http://lot.cipherpool.com/ pool hashrate is also dropping. Difficulty is dropping.

Is this coin dead? Am I mining for nothing? A historical curiosity?

Oh... net HR jumped a tiny bit... as did diff.

It's just odd to see as it jumped up so fast earlier, and now is just, well, I wasn't expecting this.

Does anyone know how to connect cpuminer to this? I can't seem to get it to work. I keep getting "stratum_subscribe timeout". My conf looks like this:

Looks like DOGE is on an exchange now. I've never heard of coinedup.com, so I kind of wonder what's going on. Maybe it's just a small exchange trying to cash in on DOGE popularity?

Anyways, trading at 0.00000005, or 20,000,000 DOGE per bitcoin. Not too bad for a new coin only a few days old.

I've seen people buying Steam games for 10,000 to 100,000 DOGE. Not sure how what that means to anyone.

It certain is much more relaxing and fun than the stress of trading.

Mind you, it can be fun to screw around in the trollbox as well.

I'm probably bearish to the point of being a religious freak about it.

And NOTHING has changed my position.

But I'm still shorting the dollar hard as hell. The dollar is tanking against the bitcoin.

Truth be told, the sell off is for the same reasons as always.

You see, a few wealthy, rogue bitcoin whales. They've installed microphones on high-rises and tall apartment buildings around the world.

What they do is to force out the weak hands by creating panic selling.

Then they collect the recordings as those panic sellers jump out the windows, screaming as they plummet to their deaths.

They then all get together, smoke cigars, twirl their moustaches, and cackle with glee as they listen to the screams of panic sellers.
