IIRC Apple has a longstanding policy of not allowing any payment methods apart from their system on iOS. They want their cut. Or am I mistaken? (I'm told they allow Paypal, but that that's more of an exception) being total douchewads.

Given past performance, I'm guessing that you're right there. Sure, it's a wide range, but at this point it seems like the most important thing to look at is just the order of magnitude. i.e. Will BTC keep up with increasing by an order of magnitude every 9~12 months? In any event, I do hope you're correct. |

Take a look at the volume on the red candles compared to the reversal and uptrend. I am not saying it won't go up further, it certain may but for me an increase in the green candle volume would improve my confidence that the leg up is sustainable. Show me a run of green candles with volume spiking to where the red candles and it will remove all my doubts.
But doesn't the red candle volume show that it takes a higher sell-off to push prices down, while less volume drives prices up? That seems to indicate a very bullish market to me. I could very well be wrong though... Please correct me if I'm reading this wrong. |

Truth is, we don't know. Do alt coins attract more people that wouldn't otherwise get into the crypto currency ecosystem? Maybe. Maybe not.
It's just a matter of speculation and guesswork. I'd guess that alt coins do more good than harm for reasons that I'm just too damn lazy to type out.
