1001  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: November 12, 2017, 12:50:47 PM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

I think it would teach bitcoin about the importance of money. However, the problem is that, bitcoin is very complicated for kids to understand. It took me sometime to completely understand the concept of bitcoin. I am still learning about bitcoin so I guess bitcoin is really complicated to understand.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: November 12, 2017, 12:23:00 PM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink

Bitcoin is both and asset and a currency. Bitcoin nowadays are used for trading, investment, sending money, payment and a lot more. Bitcoin is really convenient and maybe in the future it can replace fiat money. It's really good to have bitcoin because it's not just convenient, but also profitable. A lot of people became rich because of it.
1003  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: November 12, 2017, 11:59:36 AM
More than 15 years passed after 9/11 disaster.
After 9/11 Coalition Forces occupied Afghanistan and Iraq. More than 1,5 million people died. Iraq regime collapsed with Saddam's dicta.
Coalition Forces encashed even every single bullet's price from Iraqi Puppet Government.
If we think today,  who get benefit from 9/11 and who lost, i leave it to your imagination and mind.
It was a terrorist attack?
There are many suspicious points
What about flight number 11, 175 and number 73 passengers hit Pentagon?
There are so many questions
Are you satisfied for explanations?
Actually what, happened there?

I've watched a video about the tragedy in 9/11. They said that U.S.A initiated that attack just to have a reason to attack Osama Bin Laden. I think it's a win-win situation because they got the building insurance and they even had a reason to attack Afghanistan. It is intriguing because before the attack, the foundation of the building was destroyed. Firemen found melted metal on the ground floor which means they made the foundation of the building weak before the plane crashed.
1004  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: November 11, 2017, 11:09:46 AM

being rich? have a good relationship? become a company boss? successful completion of high education?? or there' another definition of success? tell me about you opinion.

Success is subjective, you can consider your self successful when you have reached the goal that you wanted to achieve in your life. You can be successful in many ways. Some people are successful in business, in family, career, or life.  It can be achieved by just getting rich, famous, happiness and contentment in life.

1006  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 10, 2017, 07:39:27 AM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

Yes of course it matters because the reason why a lot of people are getting into bitcoin is it's sudden price surge. Rich influential people will just ignore bitcoin if it is not profitable. The rrason why bitcoin is profitable is it's price volatility.
1007  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anxiety and Depression on: November 09, 2017, 05:51:21 PM
The purpose of this poll is to know what are the factors in every age range of human that leads to anxiety and depression.

I really think that teenagers are prone to anxiety and depression because this is the stage where people are exploring and curious about things. At this point of life, people pretend to be matured and they want to take responsibilities of everything. I experienced this too, when I was a teenager, I feel like I need to be more responsible and to think of my future and do something about it, which pressured me a lot.
1008  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10k By March 2018 on: November 09, 2017, 03:38:45 PM
If you read how things and adoptions are going for, there is a fairly amount of demand, and a push for $10k by holders.

Do you agree?

There's a chance, however, as you know some holders are dumping because there was a news that segwit2x is cancelled. People stored bitcoin because they wanted to take advantage of the fork to get free coins. Since it was cancelled the dump will happen early. Let's just see if it will reach 10k by 2018.

1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 09, 2017, 07:09:09 AM
Please give your opinions.

It is because people view bitcoin as the main crypto currency. It is number one in terms of value. No other coins can match it's value. Bitcoin is profitable, that is why a lot of people are investing bitcoin. A lot of people are getting interested in bitcoin because a lot of people were able to become rich because of bitcoin. Even popular rich people are starting to invest in bitcoin because of this.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 07, 2017, 08:07:57 AM
Ok guys. It's time to inform porn industry that we want to pay in Bitcoins. You have any ideas on how to do it? Bitcoin is perfect payment method for p0rn - anonymous and very fast. And they don't care about fluctiation because they profit anyway.
If some major sites will start accepting bitcoins, there will be huge demand for Bitcoins  Cheesy  What do you think?

I think this is great because porn industry is a big market which means the market demand on bitcoin will get bigger. Bitcoin price can increase through porn industry. A lot of people are using porn sites and it would be great if they would uae bitcoin as payment.
1012  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: November 06, 2017, 05:10:11 PM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

The worst bitcoin decision I've ever made so far was that I didn't buy bitcoin when it was very cheap. I could've earned thousands of dollars now if I started earning when I first knew it 4 years ago. I was skeptical because I didn't trust bitcoin would cost this much today.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I HATE 90% of Bitcoin investors on: November 03, 2017, 07:12:26 PM
Most people that investing bitcoin now, are just investing to make money. It annoys the hell out of me. 90% of people haven't read the white paper! Don't even know why decentralisation is a good thing! Don't know why the blockchain is such a revolutionary invention! It annoys me so much! These people just invest because they want to "get rich quick".

And the annoying thing is that if someone had told me about bitcoin 6 years ago, I still would have put all of my money into it. Unfortunately I'm only 16 so I didn't know ANYONE (when I was 9) that would tell me about bitcoin. I only just heard of it 7 months ago and henceforth, have become OBSESSED with crypto. Now I've dropped out of school for crypto and it really does my nut in when all I hear is "Bitcoin to $10K!", "Bitcoin to $20k!".

Deep down I actually hope that the bubble (yes it is a mini-bubble) pops after the Segwit fork and that the price goes back down to $2k. That way all of these stupid investors can suck their thumbs and get taught a lesson. 90% of these people also would have said bitcoin was a scam 9-15 months ago but now look at them. They run around like fucking idiots screaming "BLOCKCHAAINN!!!", "DECENTRALISATIONNNN!!!".

Smh.

Rant over.

I really guess that the reason why you dropped out of school and focused on bitcoin is the same reason why others are investing and holding bitcoin. We all have the same reason why we are investing on bitcoin. I don't understand what are you frustreated about. First of all, your also part of the story that you are runting about.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CARTAXI is a SCAM. Please don't invest in it again. on: November 03, 2017, 08:04:03 AM
CARTAXI is a big scam project. They are claiming that they are operational in San Antonio,US and CHINA and RUSSIA. But its not true. They are only operational in just russia. They are scamming people by the wrong information. Earlier it seemed like a good project. But things revealed and nobody is interested in it. I invested a small amount in them in the presale just to see how things workbut I'm worried now.

Also they cheated their bounty participants. This is the worst cheat ever an ICO played on their workers. They showed big numbers in the title and not mentioned anything about changing the alloted tokens or if the 100% tokens sold.

It is cheating not revealing correct information in the beginning of the work. Please tell me how many of you work on a job which gives you less than 8% of what they said earlier?

But in CARTAXI case they just cheated them by showing big numbers. They didnt ask them to show big numbers. They might not join their campaigns if they show actual numbers and reveal correct information. This is the trick they played they know that people wont join if they tell actual information so they showed BIG numbers and attracted people.

Also they are banning people on telegram for asking about bounty. Please tell me if they are so much allergic to bounty why did they start bounty. They didnt ask them to. Its their need. Also they are warning people that they will not pay those shit amounts if they talk about bounty. I am on their telegram and they are responding rudely to their bounty participant. If they are so rude and banning people what is the future of the investors.

I did a mistake investing in them.

I've heard that a lot of people were disappointed in their campaign because they mislead the participants and gave them small amount of tokens for working for almost 3 months. I think that's the worst, some participants didn't even get their stakes because their ether addres were changed.
1015  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin reached 7000k USD. Kelan kaya ito babagsak? on: November 02, 2017, 06:08:25 PM
Hello po,

Sa kasalukuyan ang bitcoin price ay umabot na ng 7000 plus USD.

Sa Tingin nyo po kailan kaya ito muling bababa?

Bago ba mag segwit2x bababa na ang price ng bitcoin?

Or

1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: November 02, 2017, 12:27:33 PM
Is there is any chance of life without money i think first thing that every human being is need that is oxygen but similarly same things goes for money we can do nothing without both of those things can we ?

It's hard to live life without money nowadays, it's true that there's a lot of important things that we need to live. However, we need money to get or to have what we need to live comfortably or conveniently.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: November 02, 2017, 09:58:45 AM
It seems there are bad news all around with doom and gloom. Trade figures going down, jobs cuts, security situation not going well, and bad loans.

Is the economy situation in your country that dismal? Or this is just some fear mongering?

I really think that the economic situation in our country is getting better compared to our economic situation during the reign of our former president. Even if our current president is not an economist, he was able to provide a lot of jobs and opportunities for his people.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 02, 2017, 09:28:31 AM
The only thing that I fear is to get hacked or if bitcoin will end too soon. I hope that bitcoin can last for a long time, so that I can gain more profit and store more bitcoin on my wallet. I'm still learning about bitcoin, so I hope that it can last long or forever.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 08:41:44 AM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

Maybe because cryptocurrency earning is not taxed and they can't do something about it, they want to get tax from their people and they don't want them to earn money through cryptocurrency. However, it's their loss because they don't see the potential and convenience of having cryptocurrency.
