81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your view on current crypto market? on: January 03, 2020, 02:06:02 PM
I see opportunities on the current cryptocurrency market because we all have cheap cryptocurrencies right now and they are way too far from their recent all time highs and those prices are good entry for long term investors. If I am a long term investor, I will not mind the prices now and I will just buy right away because I know that the value behind those cryptocurrencies are much more than their current value.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is the Worst-Performing Major Crypto of 2019 on: January 03, 2020, 12:51:02 PM
For investors, it is the worst performing cryptocurrency of 2019 but for the traders, it is a blessing for them since the price of ripple is close to its strongest support level and that means that is the buy zone for ripple and after that, they will just hold it long term and expect a huge return on their position.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 03, 2020, 12:13:16 PM
This is the truth that most of the people in the cryptocurrency space are denying. They all say that they are here for the technology but in fact, they are here for the profit or money making opportunity since the market is volatile. I do believed in both technology and the opportunity that the cryptocurrency brought to us and I will never leave cryptocurrency just because of less profit.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 03, 2020, 11:23:52 AM
There is no point in giving up. Ever since I learned about crypto, I trusted it and I believe crypto still has a long way to go. I never get discouraged whenever the market falls, it is a normal market cycle. Market depression is normal and I even take it as an opportunity to buy cheap. I'll just keep on getting my portfolio filled little by little until it grows till next bull-market.
Every year is a new chance to keep going, it may not what we wanted but as we experience changes we will able to realize the prices that we will be able to trade. We should not focus on downside but take it as opportunity whether to buy and sell at low or high rise depending on our goal.
I agree with you. We should take this an opportunity to buy some cryptocurrency as we saw that the prices of most cryptocurrencies are in the down trend. Investing and building wealth is about having enough patience to wait for the market to recover, we should also remember that seeing a bearish or downtrend market is pretty normal for a healthy cycle.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: January 03, 2020, 10:34:36 AM
I still have my altcoin and tokens for almost a year after recieving them but their price stays the same. Its up to project if its for long term or just a pump and dump project.  I believe that the tokens i hodl is for long term investment.
That is good for you because that is a rare case when it comes to altcoins. Most of the altcoins that are being rewarded to the bounty hunters are just for quick bucks. If the technical data and fundamental data of the altcoin that you received are solid then that is indeed a good for long term investment. Keep it on a safe storage like hardware wallet.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: January 02, 2020, 03:18:59 PM
My opinion is that Bitcoin mining should be our priority. Will you find some money and invest in it. Most of the time, I'm focusing on trading to make some profit. To do this, I need to focus on research, invest in strategies and spend a lot of time. Without sweat and determination, nothing can be easily achieved in this environment. I also had a lot of trouble making profit at first, but now I got better and better.
I think that focusing in promoting bitcoin is much better than bitcoin mining because if there will be more demand in the market then that means that the price of bitcoin will go up and that would make the miners happy because of the higher value of each bitcoin that they will get as a mining reward.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: January 02, 2020, 01:58:18 PM
<...>
It his own fault why he lose money in the cryptocurrency market. Newbies should focus on improving their knowledge first. They should not fall into the promises like the prediction of McAfee. Of course newbies can easily become a victim of this kind of shit because of their lack of knowledge. But still they can protect their fund if they know what they are doing.

Desperation leads one to stupidity, and stupidity leads to poor decisions, and poor decisions lead to losses--that includes money, information, etc. No matter how knowledgeable a person is, if they're in the brink of desperation, you can't fix that. But then again, there is room for improvement, even if you lose something today, at least you realized something--that what you did was stupid, and will make up for that next time an opportunity arrives.
I agree. It is all about picking up the lessons from the mistakes that you have made. Doing mistakes is pretty normal because that is the proof of someone that he is trying new things in his life and he is continuously improving because if you are not making mistakes then it proves that you are not making progress because you are already good at the level of what you are currently doing.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 02, 2020, 12:39:54 PM
To be honest, do not hold your bitcoins just because there is a hype or a positive speculation because of the halving that is approaching. Hold your bitcoin because you are seeing a good reasons and you are seeing good technical from the chart. Halving was a good event for bitcoin based on the past but we cannot see the future and we should not risk it all.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: January 02, 2020, 12:04:54 PM
We still cannot tell if we are heading to recession because the market trend for the overall cryptocurrency market is still hard to identify because we are in a critical levels. The only thing that we should do right now is to be prepared and do not panic when the recession hits and also like what Warren Buffet says, be greedy when others are fearful. Apply that saying when we experience the recession to grab the opportunity by buying cheap but good valued cryptos.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 02, 2020, 11:21:02 AM
Falling for scammers who try to ping you on social media and telegram in the name of trading.
Also sending some BTC/ETH so that you will get more in return.

Many have fallen for these.
I also have seen a lot of those cases online and I don't know how they fall for those types of scams. It is a real proof of lack of knowledge about investments and cryptocurrency in general. Those cases should be a lesson for people who want to jump into cryptocurrency to study the market first before they put their money into it to avoid being a victim of a scam.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: January 01, 2020, 03:49:32 AM
I believed in BNB and I know that the team and management of the Binance is great but they should work in reducing the scam around their exchange because there are coins and tokens there that are just created and listed to pump and dump or just to get money from people. The customers of Binance deserve better and I know that if they fix it, the future of BNB will become brighter.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: January 01, 2020, 02:56:41 AM
Let's be honest here. Only a very few of altcoins will be used in the future and most of them will be dumped so hard by the manipulators and its investors. Altcoins is somehow like the pennystock that we have in the stock market where the traders used to squeeze to get some milk money. Altcoins are still underdeveloped and I hope in the near future, they will have some real usage.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: January 01, 2020, 02:05:30 AM
From the year 2018 through to the later part of 2019, Altcoins are not seen any significant improvement due to the fact that most Altcoins are no longer paired with Bitcoin. Majority of these Altcoins are paired to stable coins, so whenever there is an increase in the market value of Bitcoin, it does not really affect altcoins. This is the cause for the bleeding of altcoins throughout 2019.
You're wrong. Almost all of the altcoins in the market are still paired with bitcoin. With a big fluctuations in the price movement of bitcoin, it easily affects the prices of altcoin in the market and the reason why they are still struggling to move up is simply, the investors are losing interest to them because of their slow progress in value.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: January 01, 2020, 01:29:38 AM
It's not a sinking ship but it's no longer a sleeping giant. Let's admit it that we've expected much with ethereum but mostly it became a failure to most. I'm still have my last ethereums on hold and willing to wait until I can see the price becomes acceptable for me to sell.
I'm still optimistic that ETH could show its market dominance among altcoins. Yes, Ethereum is not a sleeping giant anymore but consider it a sinking ship if people will never risk their money for investment. The future of this certain is only in the hands of the investors but of course, the devs have had a big role for this in order to turn back its potentiality.
Just like bitcoin, there are holders that are not willing to sell at any price. The developer that sold and plunged the price back to the current we have is desperate and is probably in need of money. We have no choice but to remain optimistic until we sell it at a satisfying price soon.
The future isn't just with the investors but it's more with the developers and how they'll show the development of it to us.
That is what matters at the end of the day. We should not care if the developers sold their ethereum at the peak price because maybe that is their way to secure their funding for the further developments. There is still a long road for ethereum to go through and that means there will be more developments as it will evolve into a giant cryptocurrency that could possible replace bitcoin in total market capitalization.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: January 01, 2020, 12:53:28 AM
Well yes, altcoin will grow again and i think altcoins who are faster than bitcoin regarding confirmation will grow more then ever on next bull run and some will keep high price for long time.
Altcoins will not grow if bitcoin will not grow first. Bitcoin is the leader and it also acting as a leading indicator for the current trend of the market. If bitcoin grows to more highs in the future then that is the signal that the altcoins should be the next market to grow and have a bull run. We all need to be patience because we are still in a bearish market.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 31, 2019, 03:20:05 AM
I think the prices of altcoins will rise in 2020. Prices have been falling for a long time. And they don't give you any hope. There are a lot of investor losses. People need to get used to this market again. I think prices will go up. It is not investment advice.
I think you should focus in studying the market for the next year. It is not a good idea to speculate the market without a valid analysis on what is currently going on the market. We all know that the price of cryptocurrencies are falling but it is not a signal that we should jump in right away. Study the market and look for possible entries so you will have a lower risk of losing money in the long run.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: December 31, 2019, 02:31:05 AM
It makes sense for new businesses to accept bitcoins. People are already excited to shop with bitcoin. Of course, this is not something that can be reached in large volumes immediately. But this will expand into the market.
It always depend on the type of business that they are running. If they have a small scale business then accepting bitcoins is not a wise decision because they lose some profits for just accepting bitcoin because they have to deal with the transaction fees in the blockchain and the transaction are not always fast so it is also a problem for them.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 31, 2019, 01:44:57 AM
Perhaps there is going to be a global economic crisis. Because most people around the world do not understand the crypto currency and know how to use it. So they will face transactional difficulties and need a longer transitional period to test the cryptocurrency. And a country's financial structure will experience an overall change.
I don't think that there will be an economic crisis because all of the countries will not convert to cryptocurrency without learning and teaching it to their citizens. They are not dumb like that. If there will be a transition from fiat to cryptocurrency, full time from different countries then it will be so innovative and there will be a lot of progress to overall economy of the world.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 31, 2019, 01:10:51 AM
At first, it is hard to manage your portfolio efficiently while having a full time job because i don't know where to focus, that is why i started to train myself to manage my time at work and in my trading. So i decided to trade for a long term that i don't need to check it daily, only for weekly or monthly for me to have a focus on my real time job.
Need to set stop limits so you can adjust assets automatically.

actually it can still run smoothly if it is always progressively monitoring the daily candle, but our main work is indeed consuming a lot of attention. I can always make time every night, but often it's still not optimal because of fatigue. maybe it's time to consider using a trading bot service.
In my opinion, it is still better to do trading manually because it will help you a lot to grow into a better trader. If you really want to make money through trading then you will always have motivation to work even you are tired from work. You should keep hustling until you get what you want. Learn to budget your time so you can still have time to rest to be productive for the next day.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: December 31, 2019, 12:21:58 AM
Technically it do have it's formula, but we as an average person who just invested fairly I don't think we have good times know about it. Honestly we don't care for that, and we what's most thing that we're interested to is bitcoin's price to increase and give us hope.
Most people on knew about cryptocurrency, was trading and gambling so with respect to formula it remained a very discreet idea for deeper idealism about digital currency.
If a person has a mindset like that then probably at the end, he will lose money in his investments. A wise investor always care for the price because it is the measurement to see if the value of something has gone up too high for him to buy as an investment. Investing is about patience and waiting, if you will always buy at the current price then there is a high chance for you to hold it longer just to make a decent profit.
