701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best hardware wallet on: May 14, 2018, 02:13:45 PM
Hi All
Keeping in mind the growing security issue of safekeeping our cryptos, just wondering which is the best hardware wallet out there? Thanks in advance for expert suggestion / user's experience.

I think all of the hardware wallets could make our cryptocurrency safe, but if you wanted a hardware wallet which supports the coins that you have, then I would suggest buying Ledger hardware wallet, mostly it supports ERC20 tokens, but if you are only going to store bitcoin, then I would suggest buying Trezor hardware wallet. Hardware wallets purpose is to secure your coins even in offline.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: May 14, 2018, 01:52:21 PM
for the life of me gambling more give negative effects than the positive ones so from that I started to try to stop even if it's difficult, because I lost a lot of money gambling and almost lost my job, too, but if it is for you to give a positive effect is up to you because it is completely your right.
I would like to say sorry for your loss in gambling. For me, there is no positive effects of gambling aside from shot-time entertainment and pleasure only. Some are trying to stop gambling but they are doing it for a long time and they are doing it as a hobby already. Now stopping is difficult because you tend to do it many times already that your body and mind are finding ways to gamble. The reason I don't do gambling is because I don't want to lose my money even the return is so big, the risk is so big too. I can't risk too much for money.
Yes, gambling is very risky if we bet using a compromised money because we don't really know the outcome of the game but mostly losing is always at the end. Prolonged exposure to gambling may lead to negative effect such as physical and mental stress and worst if come to addiction, that is why I always have to limit when I play in gambling.

The bad effects of gambling would start to hurt you if you spend too much time on gambling, in short time, you might just feel some regret about losing your money but in the long run, you will start to regret your whole life, you are going to regret that you shouldn't have done that, something like that. Gambling doesn't have anything good to give in our life but loses, and disappointment too, the worst thing that could happen to us is we are going to end up living on streets.
703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: May 14, 2018, 01:39:55 PM
Quiting gambling when you are already addicted into it is almost suicidal. This was the negative part about it, On the other hand, quiting gambling is quiting your toxic life. Stoping your greedy self and start a new one. Every person has a chance to change and i see it as a positive way.
Yes, gambling is very hard to quit because once it become a habit then the tendency is going to addiction and the fact is that gambling addiction mostly brings many consequence, therefore I agree that to quit gambling is to forget your life in crypto world and that is the hardest part since crypto world and online activity is always a part of gambler's life.
It is painful to see people becoming victim of this game even after knowing all the adverse effects. Gambling has never proved to be a beneficial activity in any way. It destroys a person not only economically but mentally and emotionally too. People end up committing suicide or many are left alone by their families. It makes person addict before he even realizes and young people are more vulnerable to such dangers.

Gambling addiction is really destroying people's lives, quitting gambling is not about quitting yourself, it is about seeing yourself in your better version. You should expect that your love ones or your family will leave you if you are going to choose gambling over them. But being negative about your life even though you are addicted in gambling and you just wanted to end your life as a solution is not really a good idea, maybe they left you behind, but that doesn't mean that they are not going to give you a second chance.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: May 12, 2018, 06:20:53 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

only remember some of the hacking events of exchanges, they do not respond in most of the cases and you must wait to they can return your coins or money, but if you hold your money in your wallet, you will access when you want..

Yes, that is why I'd still prefered using wallets than exchanges because of what you have mentioned. At least we are the one who is in control when we are using wallets unlike if we are going to use exchange which we don't have the power on managing our coins there. Also, using a wallet is more reassuring than using it exchanges wallets.

705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: May 11, 2018, 05:08:33 PM
Yes, I use this wallet. I like it because of its convenience and ease of use. This is the very first cryptо wallet that I started to use. But hardware wallets are more reliable.

Same here, even though there are a lot of people who got hacked their MyEtherWallet, still I'm using it instead of buying a hardware wallet, I'm just using their suggested option to log in to their site safely because there is a lot of ways on how you could get hacked by the hackers, for example is by the use of phising sites (those sites that looks like the original site) don't get fooled by this
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: May 07, 2018, 03:35:24 PM
Guys, I know that many of you have already discussed this issue regarding quitting gambling as it is addictive, and I know that this thread is just like any other one. But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.

So, guys. Quitting gambling has to be done by quitting yourself. What I mean by that statement is that you should no longer be yourself or what you are. You are now a man of greed and addiction. Who was the person you were before you start gambling? Perhaps you were addicted to something else. Perhaps you were just a normal man living a normal life. Now you are a different person. What I want you to do is that you should be aware that gambling too much will make you lose yourself. Second off, you should sit with yourself and write down the negative effects of gambling. Do not be like "What if I win next time, what if I get lucky next time." No, that is not you who is talking but your greed. Do not give yourself false hopes because "What if" is a term used to talk about unreal action in the past or the future. You can neither change the past nor be accurate about what future will be like.

Then you should practice positive self-talk. Fill yourself with positiveness. Have a strong willpower and determination because believe me, once you are committed to something, you will attain it. If you want to give up gambling, then you can do it because other people and I gave it up.
I used to gamble a lot with my friends and I would be lying if I said I did not learn many things. But the negative effects overcame the positive ones. I took a decision to stop gambling. I filled my time with various activities. In time, I started to forget about gambling. It is like moving on. If you want to move on, get yourself from the routine you used to be in. Your brain is functioned about a certain routine. You will find it hard to adapt to the new routine, but believe me, in time you will get used to it.

I hope you guys achieve what you aspire. And I hope this thread will help you, even though I am sure I am going to get negative feedback. But it is okay, I am open to everything. Have a lovely day, Hadoooken!

I will update my reply for this post later.

That is a very one long true message you have there. It would not be that hard to quit gambling if you would only be dedicated and true to yourself, I mean, if you promise to yourself that you are not goin to play gambling anymore, then don't do it even though others are tempting you to do it. Sticking to your plan on quitting is going to motivate you that you could do it, and try other things might do helps you also.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: May 07, 2018, 03:13:30 PM
Gambling at the same table with a close friend may not be a problem for me as long as my friend able to keep the secret regarding my habit. But if I have  to gamble with relatives, this for sure will bring another problem when I came home and I won't allow it to happen.

It would not be a problem for you if all your friends do not want anyone else to know they're gambling. So also when you gamble with your brother, if they want it to be a secret, you all can keep a secret. The secrets that will be safe as long as nobody takes you gamble.
We can keep it a secret if we are enjoying gambling but once we are addicted and gambling is not giving us positive results anymore
that is the time where we need to be honest to our friends and family so we could seek some help to quit gambling for good.

I don't know why people are hiding their bad habits to their love ones, there is no reason for that, because in the first place you committed such thing that you know that is bad for yourself and could affect the relationship you have with your family or even friends if you get addicted on gambling. It is not bad to play gambling if you could control yourself, in some point, but the majority would say that gambling is not really a thing that you should do.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: May 07, 2018, 01:45:28 PM

Playing gambling wildly will not help, it is like you are throwing away your money, you just keep on betting without thinking what might be the outcome if you continue on losing.
This probably happens if you continue to play in gambling because gambling design not only for all winning happens at it cause bankrupt of the house. There are many tips on how to play gambling that has high chances of winning, first mind condition and the positive vibes when you do gambling. But remember luck is very important even how you executed the possible winning but you don't have a luck it useless.
Of course gambling has different odds on winning and loosing. If you play gambling you need to consider that the money that you spend there are the money you are assuming to lose. Gambling is just a game where you have a stake on it and your luck will choose if your gonna win or your gonna lose. Just make it up in your mind that you are not throwing money, you are playing a 50/50 percent chance of winning and loosing.
The odds of winning and losing to the gambling are not 50%, because the betting companies adjust this rate to their own. For this reason, all sports bets are 45% -49% likely to win and lose

It depends on the house edge actually, if you going to play in a gambling site, make sure that their house edge is low so that your chances of winning would be a little higher compare to a gambling site that has a big house edge, though don't expect that you are going to win as always. Winning in gambling is so hard, to the point that we are going to be addicted because of betting and we lost a huge amount of money.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: May 06, 2018, 03:22:37 PM
Ofcourse gamblers mindset will be a winner.Ofcourse he wish to win in every game.
No gamblers will think that he's playing because he wants to be a loser.Maybe if he is crazy,he want always to be a loser.

And that mindset is the reason why he is losing, the other side of this mind is saying that he should stop but he listened to the other one saying to do what he sets already in his mind before playing, and that is very wrong. Being emotionally weak in gambling might lead you to some serious problem, like for example is you might get crazy over the money that you have lost in gambling, you just can't stop yourself thinking about it everyday.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your favorite gambling games? on: April 30, 2018, 11:44:21 PM
My favorite gambling games are Poker, Dice, and Slot Machine. Cheesy

My one and only favorite game is DICE, because it is a lot more easier than the other games like poker, sport's betting and so on. Dice is addicting because the result per roll is so fast, so the only thing you will do is to bet and bet all of the time, you are not even going to be bored on this game.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The way to win in gambling on: April 30, 2018, 06:04:38 PM
Simple way - play against human players. Here u may find pretty cool solution to provide gambling which allow users to win
This site can't be trusted i love this idea of playing against players but the problem is there aren't many trusted pvp player which is one of the biggest problem and another issue is pvp in dice site would be weird we would need one player to select below 5 and wait for another play to select above 5

And that is not going to happen, a player vs. player DICE game is like getting over with the original concept of the game, the owner will not do such thing because he can't make big profits with that kind of thinking. The way on winning in gambling is starting to think something better, you don't have to lock yourself in gambling believing you could make money on it.
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: April 30, 2018, 03:29:26 PM
Try to join groups that are focused on helping gambling addicts like you. They will give you strength to remove that bad habit from your system and start a brand new life.

I think that would be too hassle on finding such group, you could help yourself on that, you just have to be determined on quitting it for the sake of yourself or else you know what is going to happen to you in the future. It will be hard at first but it is worth it. Quitting gambling is the best thing that you could do for yourself if you want to save your money.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 30, 2018, 01:42:50 PM
You don't even know when to leave and stop gambling since you don't start in your self if you start to push your self to stop and realize that you can't even make more profit anymore then you should stop i was gambling addicted before and its too late i realize that i loss all my money bitcoin because of gambling you don't even know until its too late much better to make an action before you lose everything in that gambling.
it's really telling you that to stop gambling is better than our own encouragement rather than by others' coercion or follow-up. with yourself surely it would be easy to leave the real world of gambling

That is absolutely right, the only one that is going to help you is yourself, the final decision will still be yours, others will just give you their opinion but it depends on you if you're going to do it or not. Stopping gambling is when you know you had enough, you must be wise on making decisions or else you're gonna end up broke.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: April 29, 2018, 04:35:45 PM
To stop gambled we can do other activities that positive like we did the sport to change the habit of gambled us, because the sport will make us can forget gambling, it is a in do by my friend to eliminate the habit of his gambled

I'm confuse on what you are saying here because of your grammar, so correct me if I'm wrong. What I understand on what you have said is that you have to try something else other than gambling for us to forget about gambling and realize that there is something more profitable than gambling itself.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: April 29, 2018, 03:53:00 PM
Gambling is a form of entertainment, they said

A very bad type of entertainment I think, and I'm confuse how others sees it as an entertainment if they are losing their money, I'm not like that. I'm earning my money through hard work and I'm not going to spend it on gambling just to have some kind of entertainment, I'm wiser than that.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: April 29, 2018, 03:20:27 PM
I wouldn’t keep because I wasn’t was gamblers and according to me for you the gamblers should be immediately stopped from now before all too late, because if we didn’t stop surely we would lose everything we have because gambled

That is for sure, gambling is not a very good choice to make just to earn money because what is happening every time is the opposite(we are losing money), so continuing to gamble is a very very dangerous decision to make. For e continuing means to lose all the money you have in just a snap.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: April 28, 2018, 03:49:58 PM
It's not dangerous if you have experience and you can easily find a good and promising project. But if you are new to investing, it is very dangerous.

Having an experience is not enough, and a promising project could be a scam in the end, everything could change in just a blink of an eye, I hope you know that. Participating in ICOs like investing on it is risky, just like what I've said it could be a scam in the end even though they have reached their Hard Cap, but if participating like joining Signature Campaign, then it is just a little bit risky, I think since you are not investing any money on it.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: April 26, 2018, 04:20:45 PM
If you referring in bounty, yes I'm gonna be patient because a lot of members participated so maybe one by one they assist it.

Sometimes you have to do some background check on the bounty you've been at, because most of the ICOs right now are just scams, and it is so disappointing. But I think what OP were trying to say here is that the profits of the coins we are holding, he is trying to say that we have to hold for a little bit more for sure profits, because selling right now at the red market is so pointless.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: April 26, 2018, 03:44:30 PM
I use For long term investment, because ETH is one of the coins I think has a good prospect, and I'm sure the price of ETH will rise above the highs at the end of last year. But sometimes I also use for daily trading at leisure

I'm just using Ethereum in Trading because I can't use it on online payments unlike bitcoin. Trading ethereum is a very good choice, you could make profits in a very short period of time. Also some other people use ethereum in gambling as an alternative currency if they don't have bitcoin to be use in betting. Buy more Ethereum at low price, and hold it and sell it in the high price.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 24, 2018, 12:59:35 AM
Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.

Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.

Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!
Yes it is a new hope to those people  who wants to reach and to fulfill the goals and life. And I am one of them ,that I am very thankful to bitcoin .It help me to reach my goals and help.my famil. Earned bigger money and can buy house and planning to have a business soon.

I agree, without having any diplomas or without holding any bachelor's degree, bitcoin will still accepts you as long as you understand how the blockchain works and the rest of the cryptocurrency world, it might be hard at first, there will be complicated things to understand but the longer time you spend on cryptocurrency world will make you a better one who earns bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
