161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto and gold on: December 16, 2019, 02:13:15 PM
Cryptocurrencies and gold are awesome asset because they are both performing well this year. I just hope that I have invested more in gold because it really gives a good return this year. Cryptocurrencies are also performing this year, especially the altcoins from the past few months because of their awesome returns. It is nice to invest in them and also to other assets so we will maximize every opportunities that we have whether it is in the internet or not.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 16, 2019, 01:29:45 PM
For a smart person like Vitalik Buterin, it is not a surprised to know that they have sold a lot of ethereum at the peak of the bull run of ethereum because they know that the bull run is driven by the emotions and hype and they don't want to join the majority and they already knew that it is best to secure their profit. Even though they have sold a lot of ethereum back then, it doesn't lessen my enthusiasm in ethereum and I still believe in them for long term.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 16, 2019, 12:54:23 PM
In order to learn how to fish, you should have some basic equipment. Base in this situation, you already have the basic equipment and that is the internet, eagerness and also the curiosity. You should equip those things very well in order to push yourself to dive into the internet to explore and gather more information related to trading. If you don't do it by yourself, then you are not asking to learn how to fish but you are asking for a fish.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 15, 2019, 03:41:02 AM
I think if all countries convert to cryptocurrencies, it will be quick and easy to pay. But it will be very difficult to spend daily. Because the value of cryptocurrencies is not small. Not everyone is able to use it in the buying and selling movement.
The value of the cryptocurrencies is not the problem here. The problem in terms of spending is the volatility or the change in value of cryptocurrency anytime. If the countries will convert to cryptocurrencies but with the stablecoins then it will be alright for its citizen to use cryptocurrencies because they don't need to worry about the volatility and it would be an indeed easy to pay or transact.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: December 15, 2019, 02:36:43 AM
Before investing in a coin,  we should know clearly the background of the coin, especially for new coins..  it would be nice if discussing first with other crypto-enthusiasts,  usually they will give us some advice.  But I personally prefer investing in popular coins like bitcoin and ethereum compared to new coins.

actually it's good enough to take advantage of new coins, like IEO. You can invest in the beginning, usually, the price is cheaper and when start trading, the price is usually pumping 2x, but it all depends on the market. at least you chose a new IEO in binance. the rest is better to choose investments in popular coins or in the top 10 coinmarketcaps.
It is very difficult for us to successfully invest in binance projects. I have joined 4 IEO but successfully registered only one project. And binance's IEO projects are no longer so good, prices drop too much after being listed. Now I am no longer interested in investing in new projects, they do not keep their promises about products and prices. Now just investing in the top 10 projects in coinmarketcap is enough, investing in new projects will now cost us time and money

Joining Binance IEO doesn't really guarantee at all that you are investing at the right project, still you need to do the usual thing and that is what is their project all about, what are their mission/vision, is it feasible or their project will be to  hard to do what their target is, one thing that Binance guarantee is that they are not doing IEO for scam project, but assurance that we will earn, it is not guaranteed.
If you will be joining IEOs with Binance then you should remember that just invest for quick profits do not stay for long term investing. Binance IEOs are just for quick profit trades and most of the projects that are listed there are useless or like what would other say, a shitcoin. Be smart in considering a coin, look at the progress of the coin if it is really attractive.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: December 15, 2019, 01:28:23 AM
Some of the advantages of crypto is used by scammers around the world in order to scam innocent people. We have already heard about the ransomware asking money with only BTC, even MLM creators are using BTC to scam people so that they cannot trace. Newbie traders, who wanted to get into the crypto wave and make some money will be scammed and get stuck with no money. Recently I came across a scam with Pyramid scheme structure, making referrals and earning with it.
Those things are already existing for years. People didn't learn from their past experiences and they believed to this same scheme and they complain once they got scam. People should change their mindset when it comes to investing or making money, there is no shortcut or a fast way to create money, it takes time for us to make money because it requires knowledge and strategy.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: December 15, 2019, 12:40:22 AM
Its simple actually just pick a good coin from the top 10 crypto currency, you can find just by googling then buy when the price is in the dips and then hold, wait for an uptrend. Its not 100% safe but atleast you wont lost money because they're considered stable coins in crypto market unlike shitcoins.

I don't think that you'll earn a lot of money from stable cryptocurrencies, and of course it will be so good if anyone will buy from the top 10 crypto in the market, but also there's a lot of other crypto which aren't in the top 10 have a good potential to increase, people who had knowledge about those kind of coins they'll obviously make a decent profit from them.

Stable cryptocurrencies will bring you nothing in return. You are just wasting your time if you will go for stable cryptocurrencies since they are just like digital dollar. Always go for the volatile cryptocurrencies or to the cryptocurrencies that have a a potential to grow in the future and that is where you are going to make profit whether it is trading or investing.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: December 14, 2019, 11:53:38 PM
If someone says bitcoin is over, I'm sure only newbies will say that. Because in my opinion everyone who already knows bitcoin, like the
cryptocurrency community will certainly be sure of the future of bitcoin. If you see the current price of bitcoin is indeed going down again,
making the conclusion bitcoin is over is very unreasonable. As we know the price of bitcoin is indeed very volatile, which means prices fall
like this and could later rise suddenly. It is indeed normal for bitcoin which has very volatile prices. Now is the time for us as a crypto
community proves to everyone who thinks bitcoin is over by staying patient with keep holding the bitcoin we have, even if you still have
capital you can buy bitcoin again. Because I'm sure entering 2020 bitcoin will start to show positive moves, with a slow start the price will
rise until halving occurs.
If we will base the future of bitcoin on the charts available then I would say that bitcoin is struggling to make it work towards the future because the price is now struggling to sustain the 7kish price. I believe that it is better to convert some of our cryptocurrency to a stablecoin and keep it there until we see an opportunity to buy at support level and hope for the price to bounce.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: December 14, 2019, 01:49:15 AM
i totally don't understand with this statement, how you can say all crypto. you think how enjin can partnership with Samsung and Microsoft? and XLM with imb? and currently ULTRA with AMD.
there is many project i can't say one by one
crypto will continue to grow to complement the technological requirements, many projects are working with large industries. and I'm sure that crypto will continue to grow slowly, and certainly it takes time to achieve it. so far to say crypto is a scam is the view of few people

That is correct, crypto will continue to expand no matter what, for those people who keep saying that crypt is scam means they are not really aware what they are doing, they just know that they can earn, but they know which kind of project they are putting their money at and they are just after the profit that they can have and not after the change that will happen in the future.
Ignore the mess and focus on the market advantages, this is my motto in such cases. Profit is second priority after developing your skills and market experience. Just my 2 cents.
it's better to focus on what we know and also look for profit because in times like this the market still continues to provide benefits even though not much too. than we continue to think badly of crypto, because at this time the recognition of crypto is quite large so if there is an assumption that crypto is a fraud there might be a certain purpose
Just because there are cryptocurrency projects that turned out to be a scam then it is a valid situation to call cryptocurrency a fraud. Cryptocurrency is already popular in most of the developed countries and almost all of the big industries are now in a transition to implement blockchain to their system.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 14, 2019, 01:07:52 AM
I realy want to buy altcoin which coin can i buy to hold and make big project in future any idea tell me best profit coin to buy thanks.

After reviewing the opinions of members, you should conduct your own research on all altcoins that you want to invest in, With many old and new altcoins projects, it is difficult to give an opinion that everyone agrees on, I think these altcoins that I will mention to you will have a high profile in 2020 and they are BAT, Chainlink, Fetch, QAN, RSK and XRP
It is best for people who are in the cryptocurrency space to find the altcoin that they are about to invest by themselves. It is also better if we will not base our decision to the other people's suggestion. Learn how to conduct both fundamental and technical analysis so you can combine those two and make a good investing decision.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: December 14, 2019, 12:21:34 AM
It is so simple, you just need to have patience and go to invest on top and trustworthy cryptocurrencies which can grow portfolio you have in your wallet.
Other than that nithin you need on preparing long term hold.
There is also one thing that you need to prepare if you are going to be on a long term hold for your cryptocurrencies and that is the wallet that you will be using to keep your cryptocurrencies. You should set a budget for buying a hardware wallet for your cryptocurrencies because without it, then your cryptocurrencies will be at risk from the cyber attacks. Invest in security.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: December 13, 2019, 11:31:53 PM
Personally, I prefer to hold in the long term compared to day trading. Maybe for now I am not very interested in trading because there is a rush that makes it difficult for me to do day trading and I prefer to hold coins in the long term. So for now I only observe the movements of the coins that I hold and maybe if only the price rises and has given me a profit, I will just sell it.

Long-term investment or daily trading is the choice of each depending on the capabilities they have. but I personally see if doing daily trading, accuracy and time will be needed for him, and different from long-term investments that have a lot of time to do research and patience when holding

yes, so to do both besides knowledge, of course they will consider time, because to do day trading of course it will require more time to observe the price movements that happen every day so they have the opportunity to get the moments that are happen every day
yeah both with own usability. honestly i do day trading when i trade altcoins but now difficult to do it because altcoin price stable tend to dropped so i only monitor chart of altcoins and sometime triying to take profit if any chance
for long term hold i choose bitcoin, because bitcoin has good Prospects than altcoins
We cannot deny that bitcoin is good for long term but there are also other altcoins that are also good for long term, for example, ethereum. Ethereum is an altcoin which serves as a platform for other people and companies to establish a system based on their preferences. Nike is one of the recent companies that equipped ethereum blockchain to build a verification system for their kicks.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto/Blockchain hype over? on: December 13, 2019, 10:48:54 PM
If you purely rely on the hype for the cryptocurrencies or blockchain then you will not have a successful investing or trading in the market. If you want to have a long lasting asset then you should not choose a project or a cryptocurrency that are just in hype. Choose the cryptocurrencies that have a good team, project and also a working product as a proof that they are really doing a good job.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: December 13, 2019, 01:37:55 PM
Well yes that you will be secured from scammers and hackers but you'll miss lots of opportunities and i think it is part of the risk that we're taking when we enter the crypto world, it is our job to research about the project  that we're investing with because once we found out that its a scam, we can warn others specially newbies about that specific project that only scams people and you could save other's money by your research.
But many of those opportunities are not real, even if there are thousands of coins in the market that doesn't really mean that you have thousands of options in which you could invest your money, at best you have something like 50 different coins in which you could invest, the rest are scams, bad projects or projects that are copying other coins.

So I do not really feel like I'm missing anything because I can invest in the best coin in the market which is bitcoin and in a few other good altcoins like ethereum.
That is true, we should only focus on the few cryptocurrencies in the market instead of wasting our time and effort to check all of the cryptocurrencies in the market. It is just about being wise and smart that in the long run, only the OGs and the real cryptocurrencies with working product will definitely make it at the end.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 13, 2019, 12:41:56 PM
Of course you shouldn't think about your portfolio at all during work. I think that's not professional.
Why not? Just because you're thinking something while at work then it isn't professional. As long as it doesn't affect the work load then it's fine.
I agree. It is about the output or the result of your work. As long as you can deliver on what the company demanded then there is nothing wrong to multi-task. It is a good news to know that there are people who are working on their dreams and multi-tasking while they are at work and after from work because that is the true dedication that a success requires.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: December 13, 2019, 11:59:39 AM
I want to add to all of the above that it is important to understand that even after calculating all the risks, you can still lose your money, so do not invest all your money, be prudent, and then everything will be fine!

Nothing is risk free and being in crypto it is highly risky and we have seen in years how the market rises and falls and at times you may not evn recover your losses just like btc fallen from 20k and now at 7300$. So invest only extra money which you can afford to lose and also in good coins only which can recover too in long term.

That is true. Just invest the money that you do not care about. I have a strategy for my long term investing that if I invest some of my money, I just think that it is already gone or I lost it already so I will not have any expectation from my investments and I will just check it after 6 months to a year to see the progress of my chosen investment.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: December 13, 2019, 11:25:08 AM
It's obvious that investing in the cryptocurrency world is in need of trust and science.
If we have no knowledge of any of the coins that we are interested in for our definite investment will be carried away emotionally when the price is down and the result is certainly we will hurry to sell it.
But it can be prevented if we have the knowledge and belief that the coin in the future will have a fantastic price.
just having faith doesn't seem enough, if you invest in a project for a long term,
I think you will panic if the price of the coin continues to fall, many projects like that, for example waves, npxs, and dent

It's really not enough, if 'faith is only the solution to every problem, then we will just wish and wish and pray then for sure that there is no rich or poor people now, so we should not tell this to people, we should ACT always and work for our dream, let's dream little by little and focus on it as we cannot achieve something if we don't exert our effort and won't focus on it.
I don't really agree in this 'faith' thing. Why would people honestly think that everything happens just because they have 'faith' in it. So they're telling me that whenever Bitcoin increases its price is because they prayed and had 'faith' in it? Unbelievable. It's all a matter of probability and combined efforts.
I agree. People should not rely on faith because it is just a word of excuse to the reality of life. If you don't have enough knowledge to analyze the market to determine if where it is going and if it is still worth it to hold on to your position then you should invest first in knowledge before in the market so you will not rely to the word faith.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is 2.5x more popular than DJIA (world’s strongest financial market) on: December 13, 2019, 10:43:49 AM
This is great because even they are completely different thing, it is still a good news to see that bitcoin is more popular than the other. It shows that the people are more curious in bitcoin rather than settling in to the traditional type of index. Bitcoin has a lot of potential and that is why people are looking into it because of the potential that they can maximize.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance reach $23 as per experts prediction? on: December 12, 2019, 12:29:34 PM
If binance will continue to have a good performance next year then it would probably push the price of their token to $23 or even more. Binance also need to reduce the manipulation in their exchange because it is not a healthy move to increase and preserve good reputation. The latest case for alleged manipulation is the $MATIC and I hope this kind of scenario will be avoided so there will be a sky limit for their potential.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Expectations for year 2020 on: December 12, 2019, 11:37:28 AM
I don't expect too much for the year of 2020 because it will probably lead to disappointment. I would rather just focus on myself and continue to improve my skills in this game rather than to have an ambition for the next year. There are high hopes of other people that the prices will go up pretty high because of the upcoming halving but I don't want to join their hype boat.
