1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people call Bitcoin "digital gold"? on: July 27, 2021, 04:53:18 AM
Bitcoin is referred to as digital gold because of it's high volatility and demand just as gold. Bitcoin gets scares as the years goes by and since it's not readily handy it's storage value keeps appreciating and depreciating based on the state of it's demand and supply curves which causes fluctuation in price. And this is on of the attribute bit shares with gold that's why it's referred to as digital gold

Bitcoin deserves to be called gold because of many similarities, but I think bitcoin is safer and certainly profitable than gold. Bitcoin is increasingly popular and the influence of bitcoin makes many parties especially banks afraid. The presence of bitcoin that does not require storage and delivery services, fast and small transaction fees make it easy for anyone to make everything easy.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: July 27, 2021, 04:48:00 AM
It is such a really good news for everyone that bitcoin reach $38,000 yesterday. I really optimist that the price will go up by now. It will be possible that the movement of bitcoin price will touch its ATH $63,000 or even more than that. Also the price of altcoins such as ethereum has increased, I think bull run can happen.

I think so, a bull run is imminent, although the market is now down again to $36k, the thing that makes me optimistic because the daily transaction volume continues to increase, continuing to buy is the best option to get big profits.
1063  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying BTC from KYC exchange on: July 27, 2021, 04:45:30 AM
Up until now, I thought the only way to convert fiat to BTC is through KYC exchanges. It seems like there are alternatives such as Bysk. Did I shoot myself in the foot by purchasing through KYC exchanges?

I think KYC is a good thing, so I always do KYC on every exchange, crypto is an asset and without KYC it will be difficult to recover assets if a problem occurs, I'm sure an exchange that implements KYC will not sell our data unless it gets hacked.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: July 27, 2021, 04:39:44 AM
I'm now all in BTC and haven't sold a bit since 2013. I have a few Litecoins left somewhere but too few to mention.

I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

I plan HODLing more, might sell a small percentage around November when odds say BTC might boost like crazy.

What's your plan?

If you buy from 2013 of course now get a huge profit I still remember the price at that time was still under $150 (if you bought late 2013 around $1100), I suggest to enjoy your patience, sell 30% and focus again on hold and I think put in one place is sometimes a good thing.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2021, 04:34:19 AM
I first heard of it when I friend of mine said(jokingly) that he could get anyone assassinated for 6BTC on silk road. I asked what it was and he said that it was an online currency that nobody uses. I googled Bitcoin..I have not slept since.
:3
How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

The first time i heard about bitcoin was from online news around 2013 which said there is someone who can make up to $10k from mining bitcoin, I think this is a huge income and I want earning like him. Then I googled a lot of articles about bitcoin and tried mining with 3 units of S5, unfortunately the income didn't match my expectations and I sold it again in 2015.
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: July 25, 2021, 04:12:13 AM
That's right, the most needed resource today is crude oil. dubai is one of the largest oil producers today and it is very influential for the people's economy. we can see that from the large projects that are often built in dubai and the vehicles that are mostly used by the people there. Whoever controls oil will rule the world.

Oil has been a magnet since world war 1, when the industrial revolution and demand for oil continued to increase, strong countries wanted to control the oil supply, now there is no war and of course with this fact oil producing countries get a lot of benefits from the need for oil.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to launch digital currency Oct 1, 2021. on: July 25, 2021, 04:08:27 AM
That's really funny central bank that banned cryptocurrency few months ago in Nigeria are trying to launch digital currency so what's the purpose of banning cryptocurrency in the first place when they know they are also going to launch digital currency. I think this is a very nice idea but hope this is not a another method of embezzling money again because any slight attempt in Nigeria they always make the use of it to steal money.

Maybe because the Nigerian central bank did a long study so that now it accepts crypto, we will see developments in at least 3 more years, hopefully it can have a good impact on the Nigerian economy and benefit globally.
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: July 25, 2021, 04:05:52 AM
As the Delta Variants of the Coronavirus pandemic has forced some countries (Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh)  back into  lockdown, my word of encouragement to them and the rest of the world is to keep hope alive. In the end humans would win because we always do. Aside these please observe strictly the covid-19 protocols. You wouldn't want to lose a family or friend due to your own carelessness. Stay safe.

Right, obeying security rules is the most important thing, citizens must be aware that this is for the common good, most people don't care because they feel they are healthy and will not get Covid so they don't care to comply with health protocols.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: July 25, 2021, 04:02:00 AM
World fully victimed and coronavirus pandemic situations still have affected. So world economic conditions becoming worse and out of control. Some countries already taken actions against economic impact.
It's not like the damage would stay forever, you already said it, that the countries are taking actions to help with alleviating the impact of the pandemic. I think that as the world recovers from the pandemic, we will see countries from slowly recovering from the damages.

Many countries have recovered from Covid, and I am happy because my country is also showing signs of recovery, the most important thing to recover is the people's compliance with government rules, I am sure in a year the economy will improve soon.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: July 24, 2021, 03:31:19 PM
Mining is much more profitable compared to just hodling because you don't get that many benefits from hodling besides not losing your bitcoins because you don't spend it unlike mining where you can generate the bitcoins and at the same time hodl if you can curtail the cost for mining.

Right, for now mining is very profitable than holding, I regret selling 5 units of Antminer S9 in 2018, if I was still mining of course I would get a lot of profit with bitcoin prices now.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 24, 2021, 03:27:14 PM
Unfortunately it is true that people are  not used to thinking on their own, but listening to others' opinions. Of course it is much easier and you don’t need to do researches this way. But it is a way to lose all your money, to my mind. I believe Elon Musk as he said that he is going to develop the system. He holds Bitcoin as well as his team and company do. He wants it to be successful, so now I quite agree with his thoughts.

His thinking is good and innovative, he always tries new things without fear of failure, Elon Musk deserves to be an inspiration for us so that we can be successful with confidence first, and if fail he will fix it and trying again.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: July 24, 2021, 03:21:27 PM
Bitcoin still exists even without fiat, Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin not to replace fiat, the use of bitcoin can be an asset in the future with bitcoin can be exchanged for gold not necessarily with fiat so bitcoin does not depend on fiat.
So true.  Bitcoin will continue to exist without fiat.  In the future I think fiat will be useless.  Technology is advancing, people will get used to owning digital currency because it is more flexible, secure, and more profitable to store it.

Yes, that's right, this is our hope, namely changing the fiat transaction system that has many rules, with the presence of bitcoin, all transactions are simple, fast, and of course more secure because we can fully control it.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why green bitcoin mining has become a trend? on: July 24, 2021, 03:13:57 PM
because many in the world are campaigning for environmentally friendly energy. and mining is starting to be raised as an issue which is said to be a waste of energy sources, therefore many companies are starting to try to renew by campaigning for environmentally friendly mining and replacing it with green energy

Exactly, the presence of green energy is a solution to make the environment healthy, now more and more people are aware of the importance of protecting nature and the simple thing that can be done is to reduce electricity consumption and then replace it with green energy.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 22, 2021, 04:55:32 PM
maybe this is not an interesting topic for us to discuss in the crypto world, moreover it concerns the time with future bitcoin with a period of 100 years it is very long for us to discuss, maybe we don't know anymore what will happen in that period for the time being. the future, and I don't think bitcoin will last forever, especially since this is a business, it's very difficult for us to predict it

It is difficult to guess what will happen in 100 years, technological developments are very rapid, what is trending and popular today will certainly be a laughing stock in the future, let's focus on profiting from crypto instead of thinking too far.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not just a currency, but represents a new human civilization on: July 22, 2021, 04:53:17 PM
it can be said that bitcoin is a business that is quite popular in modern times whose development is so rapid and is able to reach the whole world and it is not impossible that this will continue for the future, with the adoption of several countries that can make transactions large amount for an unlimited amount in a virtual withdrawal or payment, maybe this is why the crypto world is so popular in this century.

Bitcoin being the fastest and most profitable investment even when the world is in crisis, the ever-increasing volume of bitcoin transactions is certainly the best solution that bitcoin investment is the right thing rather than property, gold and so on.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2021, 04:50:30 PM
After the recent bleak market. Many people do not even understand the basic principles of Bitcoin and blockchain knowledge, so they attack Bitcoin. What kind of mental state is this?

They expect instant profit without having to wait, they think that bitcoin can change their life in a moment so when the price drops then they hate bitcoin, I hope they understand the bitcoin system before investing bitcoin.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America Approves Bitcoin Futures on: July 22, 2021, 04:48:30 PM
The second largest bank in the United States, has approved bitcoin futures trading for some clients, using CME contracts. Meanwhile, in 2018, Bank of America banned financial advisers from trading Bitcoin and related contracts.
In my opinion, I have the belief that in the future many banks will accept similar transactions of this valuable cryptocurrency.

Happy to hear this news, more and more stock and futures exchanges accept bitcoin, with this fact it makes me sure to buy and hold more to change my life in the future to make parents and buy a house.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never be gone on: July 22, 2021, 04:45:34 PM
Its been so many years since I learned of bitcoin talk.I was amaze of this kind of currency.satoshi is so bright and smart person.even though we never know him personally and where he is.the bitcoin that he made is so so amazing.thats why until now I am thinking the great things happen in our life to have bitcoin.and now bitcoin was known all over the world.and they using bitcoin already as fiat.thats why I do believe that bitcoin will never be gone anymore.bitcoin will be part of our life forever.
How about you? Do we have the same idea of bitcoin?

Happy because bitcoin is known all over the world, this makes us optimistic about the future of bitcoin even though there is a lot of negative news so many countries have banned bitcoin. I wish it would be easier for transactions with bitcoin because I often send money to other countries with expensive banking systems.
1079  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: July 22, 2021, 04:37:29 PM
Observing the cryptocurrency market, we found that although most cryptocurrencies have price differences, most of them will fluctuate with the price trend of Bitcoin. When the price of Bitcoin increases, most other cryptocurrencies will also increase, and vice versa.
Is this trend due to large accounts operating on multiple exchanges or countless retail investors carrying price differences? Or is it caused by other operations?

1080  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: July 22, 2021, 04:34:26 PM
In my country Bangladesh price of food growing every day even Evey hour.  Due to some political issues, corruption and instabilities of politics, poverty and nature clasters responsible for food price hikes.

Political situation is indeed the biggest factor causing price increases, especially food, this also happens in my country because my country doesn't care about farmers and imposes a tax burden on farmers.
