I've got another bug or misconfig.. Anyone have any idea? When I confirm a test order, I just get this error, and the order doesn't register:

Code:
1054 - Unknown column 'delivery_date' in 'field list'

insert into orders (customers_id, customers_name, customers_company, customers_street_address, customers_suburb, customers_city, customers_postcode, customers_state, customers_country, customers_telephone, customers_email_address, customers_address_format_id, delivery_name, delivery_company, delivery_street_address, delivery_suburb, delivery_city, delivery_postcode, delivery_state, delivery_country, delivery_address_format_id, delivery_date, billing_name, billing_company, billing_street_address, billing_suburb, billing_city, billing_postcode, billing_state, billing_country, billing_address_format_id, payment_method, cc_type, cc_owner, cc_number, cc_expires, date_purchased, orders_status, currency, currency_value) values ('1', 'test user test user', '', 'test user', '', 'test user', 'test user', 'test user', 'Antigua and Barbuda', 'test user', '*', '1', 'test user test user', '', 'test user', '', 'test user', 'test user', 'test user', 'Antigua and Barbuda', '1', '', 'test user test user', '', 'test user', '', 'test user', 'test user', 'test user', 'Antigua and Barbuda', '1', 'Bitcoin Payment', '', '', '', '', now(), '1', 'BTC', '0.20208800')

I don't know if I've set up everything correctly, but when I run the monitor.py, I get this message:

Code:
[root@grixserver python]# ./monitor.py &
[1] 7588
[root@grixserver python]# Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./monitor.py", line 169, in <module>
    d.check()
  File "./monitor.py", line 52, in check
    p = Popen(command, stdout=PIPE)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 639, in __init__
    errread, errwrite)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 1228, in _execute_child
    raise child_exception
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Ahh, this is because bitcoind is not in your path. Please see: http://www.troubleshooters.com/linux/prepostpath.htm

You can use `which bitcoind` to check that the folder containing bitcoind has been added to the path successfully.

Ah, thanks, that did the trick.

I'm almost ready to launch a humble webshop using this, just need to get DNS servers working, and order some stock. Maybe I'll even be fast enough for the little bounty you have going Smiley

Ok, I think I've managed to install bitcoin now, on CentOS 6.. But how do I create the bitcoin.conf file?
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Server noob, need help with basically everything on: March 05, 2012, 08:30:27 PM
I can choose to reinstall to any linux distro, currently I'm running ubuntu x86 minimal. No, no CP at all, only serial console.

I just bought my first Linux VPS to run bitcoind on, to use this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=67166.msg782715 .

Problem is, I'm in way over my head. I've never properly used Linux before, let alone an ssh console server. I have no idea what to do, really. I've tried googling for an hour now, and I did some stuff like compiling bitcoind (at least I think I did, I have a /home/bitcoin/ folder now..) but I don't even know if it's working. How do I install bitcoind, or any program really? How do I move files to the server? How do I start programs? How do I see what programs are running and how do I interact with them?

When do you expect this to be finished/good enough for long term reliable use?
490  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: osCommerce Bitcoin Payment Module on: March 04, 2012, 10:48:21 PM
Thank you for fixing the bug.

I'd like to use this on my website, but I am inexperienced with bitcoin servers.. I host my website on a webserver, so I can't run bitcoind and the python script there, right? Can I run bitcoind and the python script on my home computer that I turn off every night, or does it have to be online 24/7? Do I have to forward any ports?

Alternatively, are there any free or very cheap VPS's that I can use for this purpose?
491  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: osCommerce Bitcoin Payment Module on: March 04, 2012, 06:33:14 PM
Enabling the module doesn't work for me. It redirects me to a blank page, and when I go back it doesn't show up in the payment module menu, even though under "install modules" it says that it is enabled.

He was last active  on July 13, 2011, 07:03:24 am, perhaps he is just on vacation and wil respond once he is back or has resolved it.

Hah, somehow I seriously doubt it. Let's face it: This was just another scam, either the hacking was faked and planned all along, or it was real and he decided to shit all over us because he was too lazy to get the site back up running.

Oh well, I only lost 1 BTC. Not the end of the world. Let's move on.
493  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Randomizer, just a stupid pyramid scheme on: July 01, 2011, 10:41:37 AM
It's quite unfair to call something that got hacked a scam.  I think that word implies intent to mislead.  I don't really think that was the case here.  I think his site was attacked, then Gox was attacked, then everyone got really nervous about all things bitcoin, and this project is just not that important to him.

When he started the project he made an obligation to the users. Just walking away from a project hundreds of people have invested in, without even a public statement or partial refund, is practically stealing. Being hacked is not an excuse, he had the responsibility to foresee and prevent it.

Great! Thanks.

Also: If I were to start round 2 with similar rules, would you enter? (I'm asking anyone reading this)

I am considering it, but there seems to be way too many of these games already. On the other hand, I have proven that I am not a scammer, and this game was relatively popular compared to many of the other ones being started..
495  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (long term) on: July 01, 2011, 07:41:10 AM
The game is now over!

Unfortunately I sent the leftover pot to the wrong address, I sent it to one of the previous winners instead of the last bidder. I have sent him a message and hopefully he'll forward the btc to the last bidder. If he decides to keep it: I'm really sorry.

It's very hard to get these games going nowadays.. I wonder what happened to the 100+ lines ones that used to be.
497  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2x game 0.5 to 1 to enter on: June 29, 2011, 04:17:34 PM
Can I be paid out now? Cheesy
498  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pyramid from the Future! [2x] on: June 29, 2011, 02:50:45 PM
I have bad experience with these pyramid games with a preset start time. It's just comes down to a reaction time contest. I once sent within 30 seconds of the start of another game, but still didn't get paid.

Also how will you know that the time has started? If someone sends 20 seconds before 8 o clock because of their watch being wrong, will they be accepted?

Gogo guys

I hope bumping is not against the rules?  Smiley

Still at least a day left on this
