What a SPAM FUD post from a nobody user account.
Well its certainly not FUD that raising the Ethereum difficulty 15 th/s a week. And it ain't the Gamers and include the fact that GPUS are very expensive and not plentiful for big mining farms. So explain why it has risen so much in 2 months?

Judging from the Crazy Rise in difficulty in the past 2 months, I wouldn't be surprised by this anymore. Matter of fact i'm 99.99% some scumbag (hey Baikal & bitmain) company has something like this mining away already and is just gona be all quite about it. Oh well judging how my amount of eth just got cut by 2/3 guess I'm hoping back to monero after the fork.

The 1 pool was the only thing that turned me off to mining this coin. Good job I wish this pool was around before I started duel mining vertcoin last month.

You're doing it right, Just like i did when i started in october 2016 with 1 Rx480.

God knows how much Monero they've got at this point. This stuff is really starting to turn me off cryptos. Decentralization my ass.
The have been taking 75% of all the new monero blocks for the past 3 months and maybe a 30%-40% of the blocks average for the previous 4 months before this January.

the industry was created for decentealization
Yes, this is the core of cryptos: decentralization But most people are very, very greed and don't care about this, only money matters
It's funny and sad at the same time to see people defend cryptos, because it's againt bankers, government etc and them buy Asics, huge farms and supports that kind of coins The history repeats no matter what Wow sums it up perfectly. Hate to be the doom an gloom guy, but im 99% sure there is an asic out for Ethereum already, just look at the Ethereum difficulty rate jump for that past 2 months, in the middle of a GPU shortage.

Sigh.....Pascal Chips id pass on those. Judging on the prices of crypto right now, no way would i'd pay 600 -700 for these, so id pass.

I have serious question here, why devs from cryptonight didn't fork algo months ago when they sense sudden hashrate increase.
It wasn't sudden, it was a slow roll since september, I noticed it when i stopped mining monero back in october when the unknown mined blocks was only like 40% back then, but it made monero far less profitable so i switched back to duel mining eth. For the past 3 months Baikal has held it at 75% of all the new blocks, I guess they thought no one would notice. They are only selling them now cause of the monero fork coming in 2 weeks, hopefully the fork will make these miners worthless space heaters.

Baikal N news has prompted me to try and offload my last 2 Vegas. Going to keep plugging away on ZEC with 7x 1060s and 2x 1070s for now, was pointed at Nicehash but fancy a change after the recent income drops!
Selling your vega's why? Baikal has been secretly mining 75% of all the new Monero Blocks for the past 3 months, they are about to get kicked off in less then 2 weeks. Monero is about to become profitable, at least for a short time. Gona take my vegas off duel minning eth since bitmain probably has some kinda FPGA or asic on eth already since the difficulty has been skyrocketing for the past month when were in the middle of a massive gpu shortage.

Hi claymore any chance you will update this miner with the new monero algo? Your miner works best cpu wise, while mining with gpu's
|
|
|
speed other specs? probably on par wih gpu
The specs are 710 to 730 m/h for only 850 -950 watts. And the way eth difficulty has been rising pretty sure these are already working the network.

Monero announce to fork for new algorithm to prevent this baikal shit asic. Ipbc too, and i hope this shit will be destroyed
Well it looks like the scumbags at baikal have been mining 75% of all the new monero blocks for the past 3 months, and now that the monero team is forking, the only coin worthwhile will be unmineable to them i guess thats why baikal is dumping all these miners now.

Nice find dude. One worker 725g/h sure looks like one to me... no more new gpus for me.
|
|
|
Nice job Claymore this version performs the same as you're competition. Seems very stable like 11.0 You still have me with the duel mining. I just hope the bitmain eth ascis are just a rumor.

|
|
So does the bottom fall out when these Ether miners saturate the market? Everyone will move to other less profitable coins and those will fall out too.
Yes it will unfortunately. Or at least until Vitalik Buterin figures out how to modify the pow algo to make these things expensive heaters like the guys on monero are doing to the cryptonite ASCIS at the end of this month.

Judging how the difficulty for etherium has 2x in the past 2 months when were having a massive shortage of GPU's, the Fact that bitmain is a 3 billion dollar company(Same as NVIDA). I'm guessing Bitmain has been selling them already to their big commercial company's for that past 2 months already. I would start holding off on buying any new gpus.
|
|
|
Pretty sure Bitmain has these for sale for 1200 why pay 5.5 k for one?
|

First thing i would have done it open the Main Breaker box and check what gauge the main wires were coming into from the outside wire connection from the pole. You could easy calculate what amperage you have coming in and calculate how many rigs you can run without changing anything major from the pole.

Way better resell value go for the 6gb. I sold 3 rx580's with 8gb they went for more then i paid for them.

I was thinking of trying that "Glasswire" gui easy firewall, has anyone tried it, does it take alot of cpu ticks? I pretty sure this firewall cuts off windows completely from the mothership(AKA) Microsoft.
