41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nvidia Dedicated Mining GPU to Be Launched on: March 14, 2018, 11:53:18 PM
Sigh.....Pascal Chips  id pass on those.  Judging on the prices of crypto right now, no way would
i'd pay 600 -700 for these, so id pass.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 14, 2018, 11:48:48 PM
I have serious question here, why devs from cryptonight didn't fork algo months ago when they sense sudden hashrate increase.

It wasn't sudden, it was a slow roll since september,   I noticed it when i stopped mining monero back in october when the unknown mined blocks was only like 40% back then,  but it made monero far less profitable so i switched back to duel mining eth.  For the past 3 months Baikal has held it
at 75% of all the new blocks,  I guess they thought no one would notice.   They are only selling them now cause of the monero fork
coming in 2 weeks,  hopefully  the fork will make these miners worthless space heaters.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: March 13, 2018, 11:19:18 PM
Baikal N news has prompted me to try and offload my last 2 Vegas. Going to keep plugging away on ZEC with 7x 1060s and 2x 1070s for now, was pointed at Nicehash but fancy a change after the recent income drops!

Selling your vega's why?  Baikal has been secretly mining 75% of all the new Monero Blocks for the past
3 months, they are about to get kicked off in less then 2 weeks.  Monero is about to become profitable, at least for a short time.
Gona take my vegas off duel minning eth since bitmain probably has some kinda  FPGA or asic on eth already since the difficulty
has been skyrocketing for the past month when were in the middle of a massive gpu shortage.  Roll Eyes
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v3.9 on: March 13, 2018, 04:04:27 AM
Hi claymore any chance you will update this miner with the new monero algo?
Your miner works best cpu wise, while mining with gpu's
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain release ether and new miners. on: March 13, 2018, 03:55:58 AM
speed other specs? probably on par wih gpu

The specs are 710 to 730 m/h for only 850 -950 watts.   And the way eth difficulty has been
rising pretty sure these are already working the network.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite ASIC miner on: March 13, 2018, 03:51:20 AM
Monero announce to fork for new algorithm to prevent this baikal shit asic.
Ipbc too, and i hope this shit will be destroyed

Well it looks like the scumbags at baikal have been mining 75% of all the new monero
blocks for the past 3 months, and now that the monero team is forking,  the only coin worthwhile
will be unmineable to them i guess thats why baikal is dumping all these miners now.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [2018-02-12]Bitmain To Release Ethereum ASIC Miner F3 With 72Gb DDR3 Dram In Q2 on: March 12, 2018, 03:41:24 AM

Nice find dude.
One worker 725g/h sure looks like one to me...  no more new gpus for me. Cry
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.3 (Windows/Linux) on: March 10, 2018, 10:32:18 PM
Nice job Claymore this version performs the same as you're competition.   Seems very stable like 11.0
You still have me with the duel mining.  I just hope the bitmain eth ascis are just a rumor. Lips sealed
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain release ether and new miners. on: March 10, 2018, 10:18:31 PM
So does the bottom fall out when these Ether miners saturate the market?  Everyone will move to other less profitable coins and those will fall out too.

Yes it will unfortunately.  Shocked  Or at least until Vitalik Buterin figures out how to modify the pow algo to make these things expensive
heaters like the guys on monero are doing to the cryptonite ASCIS at the end of this month.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain release ether and new miners. on: March 10, 2018, 10:14:09 PM
Judging how the difficulty for etherium has 2x in the past 2 months when were having a massive
shortage of GPU's, the Fact that bitmain is a 3 billion dollar company(Same as NVIDA).   I'm guessing Bitmain has been selling
them already to their big commercial company's for that past 2 months already.  I  would start holding off on buying any
new gpus. Cry
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DragonMint B52 Blake2b Miner (March) on: March 07, 2018, 09:48:25 PM
Pretty sure Bitmain has these for sale for 1200 why pay 5.5 k for one?
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: renting a warehouse how to test the electric output like a pro on: March 01, 2018, 03:49:57 AM
First thing i would have done it open the Main Breaker box and check what gauge the main wires were coming into from the outside wire
connection from the pole.   You could easy calculate what amperage you have coming in and calculate how many rigs you can run without
changing anything major from the pole.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should I pay more to get the bigger memory card (1060 3GB vs 6GB version)? on: March 01, 2018, 03:30:29 AM
Way better resell value go for the 6gb.  I sold 3 rx580's with 8gb they went for more then i paid for them.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows Update Problem on mining rigs.... on: March 01, 2018, 03:20:49 AM
I was thinking of trying that "Glasswire" gui easy firewall, has anyone tried it, does it take alot of cpu ticks?
I pretty sure this firewall cuts off windows completely from the mothership(AKA) Microsoft.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Folding At Home With Medic Coin Earn Big Money with your GPUs on: March 01, 2018, 03:08:29 AM
I stopped Folding@home in Sept 2016 and last time I checked I had 7million points.
I think you guys owe me a Shit load of coins, and a hammer to hit myself over the head for wasting
7 years doing it instead of crypo  And I want my Coins ASAP. Cry

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What would you mine with CPU only and free electricity? on: February 25, 2018, 05:21:31 PM
You're making every noobs mistake by not listing what kinda CPU's
But a good thing to cpu mine is ELectronium for now.
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: February 25, 2018, 05:16:33 PM
No response at all, or no response about placing an order? Because if there's no response at all, she probably didn't get your message.

Oh boy,   No response at all,  I did write I wanted 1,  resending email,  Guess my plan about not being annoying is going to go
out the window.  Grin
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GPUs miners beware! on: February 25, 2018, 05:12:02 PM
Holy $hit the ETH difficulty just spiked like a Mother Fu#ker last night.  For it to spike that much in 12 hours is
definitely not from GPU's   Huh

I'm thinking these are really REAL, and bitmain must be just selling them
to there big Asian customers.   Be prepared everyone for profitability to be gone
from minning in 2018. Cry
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: February 25, 2018, 03:00:45 AM
My only annoyance is being involved in this thread for what seems like a very long time, yet missing a few weeks when the Laura email was mentioned and being at the back of the list. I understand there's not much to be done, but still frustrating! Looking forward to being able to place my order.

Don't feel so bad I sent my email to laura on the 5th of feb and i still have no response either, and i'm in the USA.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to check if pool is not stealing from me? on: February 25, 2018, 02:57:49 AM
Assume all pools are stealing,  You should list the pool and most people can tell how badly they are stealing.
