Low funds, down system etc.

It really happens I have to look for at least 5 branches near my location so if ever one is down I still have other branches options to cash out, so far the two I'm regularly cashing out  have no downtime and always have cash on hands, you can visit the location in your Abra dashboard to find Tambunting nearest you, they are using Google Map to show the direction, and how to get there fast.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: October 21, 2019, 09:30:34 PM
I’m rather new to trading crypto and I seem to be looking for places to trade crypto. I really don’t know where to trade and there are many places that show up in ads wherever I go on the Internet and I really get overwhelmed by all these places. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to trade, because I don’t and I really want to start trading
I think you should start with Binance since they are newbie friendly and their tools are not complicated to use unlike other crypto exchange. Also, there are no shitcoins there thus chances of losing percentage of you asset's value is less likely to occur. On the other hand, it's still into you which exchange looks friendlier to you. I don't start at Binance when I'm just starting but I learned a lot.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 21, 2019, 09:51:08 AM
Whenever I play dice game, I tend to alway change the provably fair seed (provably fair settings) everyday, believing that it'll give me luck. Also, creating new account each month for gambing is must for me thus I'll be able to have a clearer and object oriented mind set. It's kinda weird for some of people but for me it gives me more successful bets, thus I continue doing it over and over again.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: October 21, 2019, 07:16:18 AM
Usually, I do background check for its team since that will determine if the project will survive and will become persistent amidst its offering. Once I verified that their identity is real and they don't have any bad record, I consider checking their whitepaper and also their support. If their support isn't responsive and they aren't communicating investors professionally, chance is that they are more likely to be scammer. Legit team will answer any questions of its investors/potential investors no matter how many it is professionally
At that time, wala pang $1k ang isang BTC.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 21, 2019, 02:28:40 AM
This my own analysis what is the difference of two holders, smart holders is always monitor the market price buy low sell high get small of profits in very trade possible to double the money of tripple.
For the just hold and safe their investment for long term they strongly believe bitcoin will goes up again waiting for the another all time high before to Hope people understand what I want you share.
Someone is active and the other one is waiting to sell his coin. Smart holding is the best because they gain profit on a very short period and they still buy back at a cheap price while the pure holding is just hoping for a future that may never come, so there’s a big risk on that and you must decide on that.
True smart holding is the best one because you can get profit in the short term then buy again when price is getting lower.
Just holding is very hard especially if you have small amount capital you can get only small profit and waiting for a long time.

I do not like holding for the long term because it is definitely not going to be profitable in the future, right you say smart holding is more effective and that is done a lot by traders and investors, long-term holding is better at BTC and ETH, not on altcoin.
First of all, ETH is an altcoin too. Every altcoin can worth it for long term investment if you know how to apply the risk management and you actually know how is going through either fundamental analysis or technical analysis. In investment, there no such certain; every move you make is a risk that might cause you to lose or gain money. No progress will happen to you if you won't give a shot.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 21, 2019, 12:36:42 AM
Have you ever thought of donating the gambling profits to a charitable cause ?  Sometime people won a big lottery or very high amount of money from betting & gambling games.  Do you ever thought of being generous and helping the poor with this money ?
If I was ablle to win in a big lottery, I'll donate part of to charity too as sharing my blessings is my way of thanking God for letting me win on that particular game. I think it's normal for lottery winners to donate to charity speically if it's a multi million jackpot. Most of lottery winners who don't share to others and jusr spend their money for their wants doesn't lasts for long.
428  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 18 million bitcoin na mina na!!! on: October 19, 2019, 10:14:07 PM
I'm wondering what if mamina na lahat ng coins, ano na ang mangyayari sa mga miners and sa mga aspiring miners na gustong mag mina? And why is it 18 million bitcoins were mined for the last 10 years and then the remaining 3 millions foresaw that it could be mined 120 years from now? How? Probably dahil dun sa bitcoin halving. But, we did had bitcoin halvings right?
429  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: October 18, 2019, 07:55:07 PM
Quote
We show that it is virtually impossible for an individual to day trade for a living,
contrary to what course providers claim. We observe all individuals who began to day
trade between 2013 and 2015 in the Brazilian equity futures market, the third in terms
of volume in the world, and persisted for at least 300 days: 97% of them lost money, only
0.4% earned more than a bank teller (US$54 per day), and the top individual earned
only US$310 per day with great risk (a standard deviation of US$2,560). Additionally,
we nd no evidence of learning by day trading.
the journal observes futures market in the Brazilian equity futures market, it means that is not necessarily same result with cryptocurrency
because cryptocurrency and futures market are very different, so it can get different result.
yeah i know the jurnal just wanna tell us that is hard to do day trading for a living, but in crypto can be different.

It's more on related somehow since players' tactics in different market are also available in crypto market. What the article is trying to tell us I think is that we shouldn't be hopeful that we'll be able to day trading to live all the time; we shouldn't assume that we'll belong to that small proportion or percentage of gainers in this type of field/business.
430  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Resources Para Matuto sa English Language on: October 18, 2019, 02:09:42 PM
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin Trading Tools Should Everyone Be Using? on: October 18, 2019, 12:45:35 PM
Blockfolio is such a great application to track your crypto assets since you can modify your portfolio there at any amount and I think every coin that are listed in coinmarketcap are also there. Just to add since I'm a mobile user, I'm also reconmending tab trader to inspect different crypto market's chart from different exchangers. It has a tool that allows you to do a technical analysis professionally.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the Faith of Casino business owners? on: October 18, 2019, 08:01:23 AM
I think if they know if their casino is illegal in their country, they must ready for something like that. In my country, gambling is prohibited and whoever play and caught, go in jail. I think they just need to follow the rules from the country.
Online gambling is not easy to detect by the government, they continue to operate or partners in other country that are allowed to operate gambling businesses usually business minded people knows what to do in scenarios that they are ban. There are tons of gambling sites now. I wonder if its ban in their country too.
I don't think it's not easy to detect by the government. As long as it can be played or accessed by an average person, it can be detected easily by the government. The possible reason why they can't close it is because it's not registered from them and they don't have the power to close or regulate it.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: October 18, 2019, 06:42:24 AM
Any body here now how to predict bitcoin price. Or is there a hint how when to buy and when to sell bit coins. Or how to make profits on buying and selling bitcoins.? I want to try buying and selling crypto currency.
First of all, there is no certain or assurance method to predict Bitcoin price since it relies on the law of supply and demand. However, analyzing its chart with the help of indicators and other tools can help you determining its price movement yet you shouldn't be too confident using that since its future price might satisfy or meet your analysis thus you will have to apply the risk management.
434  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano mag simula kumita ng crypto currencies on: October 18, 2019, 06:00:49 AM
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about Casino with 0% Edge? on: October 18, 2019, 04:49:19 AM
0% house edge mean that casino will not get profit from it, than how could you make profit if you make that casino where 0% house edge? But one thing it clear that mostly gamblers like it very much to play in this type of casino.
It's like a very generous casino that they don't want to take edge from their gamblers. And the possible outcome of it is the casino will be quick when it comes to closure as they don't have any profit because they are offering 0% house edge. A businessman will typically think on how he can maintain his business but if not, he will become bankrupt easily.
No casino will be generous like that of course. It's not just about maintining their service but also the work they have put in order for players be able to play their platform. Gambling is a business thing. No gambling owners will provide service for free and everyone of them is making sure that the house edge is fair thus players won't look for another casino.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Gambling Doesn't Ever Exist, What Will You Be Doing Right Now? on: October 18, 2019, 02:46:54 AM
I could've just do trading all the time and I think I won't be able to participate in any weekly signature cmpaign since most of them are promoting gambling site. Crypto could be boring if there is no gambling yet the sense of usability is still there since it's originally meant to do an irreversable and transparent transactions.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 10:26:05 PM
The volatility of  cryptocurrency  might be one of the reasons to discourage small business from accepting any crypto payments in exchange to their goods,  perhaps if usdt is being considered they might,  because a small business might not be able to bear so much loss during bear season
There are a lot of stable coins aside USDT that they can use thus I don't think it's the main reason. Since crypto is a new currency for them, it's difficult for the to adopt it and it's not also being used by majority of people for payment. Most of people already heared crypto but they don't have idea what is it perhapa they aren't interested too since they are already contented to our traditional currency and online banking.
438  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pekeng Bitcointalk forum on: October 17, 2019, 10:42:38 AM
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 17, 2019, 09:40:12 AM
One of the reasons why people fall into scam so easily is the desire to earn money, which in turn comes from want. Most of these people hope that in life there will be a chance that will help them become financially independent. They often accept scammers' offers for the very chance they have been waiting for. Scammers, in turn, are happy to make such promises. Critical thinking in these cases is almost turned off and the person goes directly into the trap.

That's how greedy a human can be,
In part of scammers they will keep building new set of attracting offers which can directly affects the thinking of the investors. They are good in this aspects as they keep practicing the effectiveness of this tricks before completely exposing it to their plan targets.
In part of investors, they have been falling to this idea several times but never learned and still keeps trying to find their luck in hope to change their life in quick and easy ways.

We can't call it being greedy, but it is a desire which every individual always does. Having a desire to earn money to support our daily life is something you cannot call greediness.
Scammers are taking advantage of that reason, they focus on the soft part of every investor to assure that their trick is effective as they can get the investment of their target investors.
That desire which seems to be desperate can be consider as greediness itself. We can't deny that people who are being scammed have a characteristic like that. Those greediness can make an investor blind into the reality, ending up losing money and outsmarted by scammers who are patiently waiting for every impatient victim to fall to their trap.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are 0% house edge dice games at ? on: October 16, 2019, 10:15:09 PM
The only form of gambling with 0% house edge that I can think of would be p2p. And by p2p I mean actually, peer to peer, not through any middleman. A lot of p2p betting platforms still take commissions on each bet, which essentially consists the house edge.

The fact is that there needs to be some sort of incentive for people to fund the house, even on decentralised betting platforms.

This is not about "giving the power back to the people". It's all about monetary incentive.
I've never seen any dice game that doesn't have any house edge since that is not how the game supposedly works. Dice game should always have the middle man and that middle man is their opponent in which peer to peer won't work since it's not a one to one type of game. Peer to peer gambling is applicable I think only for betting such as sportsbetting since you only need to find another person who bets against your bet, otherwise it won't work.
