701  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to give physical bitcoin? on: July 04, 2019, 03:57:49 PM
You may try giving them a ledger or trezor with a fund already (you may also let them set everything needed then get its address for you to be able to fund it). This is quite expensive rather than giving them a paper wallet or physical coin with fund. It's not easy to be broken and you can buy it directly from their website so you couldn't get scammed.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play poker to train trading on: July 04, 2019, 10:55:03 AM
I have extensively played poker and to some extent done trading. Except for the fact that there's a bit of luck playing on both, I found no other similarities between them.
Both requires attention and so does every work. The study done in poker are based on exact time while trading needs more detailed research and study.
The point of the OP is actually relating them, not telling that they are similar in terms of approach. Of course they are not similar but when we go on a different perspective, we can see that traders and poker players are both taking risk but in different way and basis.
703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: July 04, 2019, 06:09:37 AM
Hi guys, where do you think should i put my remaining $1300USD? Any suggestion please? and why?
Don't fall for any ROI in crypto since 99% of them are scam. Preferably better to invest it either in top 10 coins of coinmarketcap or in Masternode (however your chance to find a good one is less with your remaining capital). If you're a risk taker and quite knowledgable in crypto, you may try to invest in IEO but you should be careful in choosing one.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: July 04, 2019, 02:19:56 AM
If we start counting all useless tokens in crypto space you will notice that most of this useless tokens are running on erc20 block chain ,many good altcoins ive came across have separate owned block chain and they are plain better, I guess the reason we have too many shit altcoins in crypto space is because of the flexibility of erc20 ,making it easy for unprofessionals to build there useless tokens.

We have some good altcoins that are running on erc20 but you will see then moving to their own block chain later on or it will be included in  their roadmap about the future swap.

The reason why I like tron block chain is the ability to get rid of fake tokens running on tron blockchain if ethereum can do this it will help a lot.

My answer is too many shitcoins are based on erc20.
I'm not a fan of tron neither erc20 platform but ever since I've been in crypto, I've seen how erc20 contributes in making crypto bigger (in a positive way). Although we see that a lot of shitcoins were made by erc20, we can't deny the fact that there are still a lot of altcoins that is useful today which was raised by erc20 platform. I'm not familiar in tron platform but I don't think I should make myself familiar since erc20 is convenient for me in investing such tokens and using it.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: July 03, 2019, 08:15:13 AM
The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.
That's why I always ignore and report someone who is offering an investment to me by sending me a direct message first. If you are in crypto currency for a long time, it's not new for you since the actions of scammers will be easier for your to determine. Thus, in crypto I'm too allergic when someone whom I don't know talk to me about their business.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: July 03, 2019, 07:28:49 AM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
Of course not; it doesn't work like that. There should always be a third party/middle man between the buyer and seller as it's backed by users and not by a person or an institution. On the other hand, we can't avoid fees for making and exchange since you are using their software/app to act as an escrow between you and a buyer/seller.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: July 03, 2019, 03:37:29 AM
What are other things that we can change that will affect the economy in a positive way?
Since we all know that corruption is a phenomenon for all countries (we can't deny it), I think providing transparancy for the government's expenses to the people would be useful (all organization & agencie must be included). This is not impossible with the use of our technology.

Also, the last thing I'm thinking of is making all government transactions available online. This will help to lessen the traffic in city thus it will lessen the demand in fuel and electricity.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any strategic way in playing poker? on: July 03, 2019, 02:22:38 AM
It's true, not only do we have a strategy but our opponents also have a strategy. therefore when in the game we must adjust to the opponent's existing strategy.
Yes, because both of you have strategies on one table you should know how to guess your opponent move and if could it possible you know to read opponent's mind and take advantage on it by selecting of which is a good card. You can also use different techniques like knowing their face emotions if you are in real casinos. But usually, they depend on luck and I think those strategies will not works.
Definitely very useful in casino but not accurate. Some gamblers are excellent in hiding and faking their emotion so their opponent could think that they have a high card. On the other hand in online poker, things work differently. In this platform you wouldn't be able to guess what your opponent is think since you don't see him/her personally. In this case it's a matter of luck and faith in your cards.

710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: July 03, 2019, 12:30:09 AM
Just like the crypto exchanges, we also invest and trade an amount that we could afford losing. But what are your thoughts about margin trading? Is it ideal for crypto day trading?
Margin trading is quite complex compare to market based trading as you're able to borrow money for your position from a third party hence it's riskier; you need to be more precise in your decision making. It's quite ideal in crypto but I would stick in market based trading for now as the volitality of the market is enough for me to make a decent profit.

715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the next trading method that I should learn? on: June 15, 2019, 01:50:39 AM
I learned how to scalp crypto-currency and I do it well. I'd like to learn a new system. What do you suggest?
You should learn margin trading also. This is very helpful for a trader specially when the market is bearish. By this trading strategy, you'll be able to take profit when the market is not bullish. This is not complicated to learn, you may learn it easily either through watching a youtube tutorial or reading an article. For more questions, there are reddits, bitcointalk, etc. to help you out.

718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: June 13, 2019, 06:59:45 AM
I played on casino site some days back and won a  certain amount of money, i was expecting to cash out my money instantly because one of the things that lured me to the site was the fact they offer instant payment. Its been days now and am yet to get my money. Please help what can i do in this case because i am becoming impatient
PS i forgot to add that they are requesting i fill KYC form and i didn't see this before i started playing.
I haven't seen any gambling sites that are currently requesting KYC upon withdrawal though. I guess it's now a requirment to regulate and avoid money laundering. However before submitting it, check out if they are really legitimate so that you can ascertain that your identity is safe and won't be used for fraud purpose. If things doesn't work upon your action for days or even weeks then you should contact their support.
719  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Rich List on: May 31, 2019, 08:55:09 AM

720  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas - Most Merit Receivers and Senders on: May 31, 2019, 08:12:51 AM
And then I realized di pala ako talaga aktibo dito kaya di ako kasali sa listahan. Thanks to GreatArkansas for this wonderful work.
Hope to see you more here.
