481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 03, 2019, 11:17:48 PM
I wanted to create a thread to get a general idea of what you look for when you're betting with your Crypto's.

I'm a developer myself & building a betting platform right now - I thought where better than here to ask for advice!
I'm not that demanding in a crypto betting platform but most likely I prefer a platform which charges less withdrawal fee, has faucets that allows you to test a certain bet without risking your own capital (this is also important for a newbie gambler), and lastly a platform which has a superb user interface and optimized at the same time since not all of the platform are user friendly specially for smartphone users.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 02, 2019, 10:56:22 PM
I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
I think it will be the future of casino since most of casinos in my country are using card for you to be able machine games. However it's not applicable to all casino games such as poker, Blackjack, and others since people will prefer chips for that of course. Sooner it could be implemented since it will give convenience for both gambler and the owner to use Bitcoin as currency for casino.
483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: October 02, 2019, 09:18:54 PM
It's more feasible to acquire 1-2 % a day profit rather than 20% a month. The main factor is the volitality of the market. The market movement of crypto is very agressive thus it's a great opportunity for scalpers who are targetting to make profit a day. Market movement of crypto these previous months are moving sideways thus long term trading isn't that worth it.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 02, 2019, 05:02:47 AM
These altcoins or shitcoins has become an eyesore every time I checked my wallets three wallets full of shitcoins, I'm desperately looking to trade or dump these altcoins, because it just reminds me of wasted time and money.
Are you also desperately looking to dump your altcoins.
I feel the same way mate. I don't see any future with my shitcoins that's why I'm regularly checking if some of my shitcoins are already added in the market so that I can dispose them. However, most of them still valueless and doesn't seem that will have value in future that's why I'm removing them from my watchlist.
485  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 82/310 members = 26.45% on: October 02, 2019, 02:35:23 AM

486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 01, 2019, 11:27:37 PM
To be honest, I rarely gamble on betting sports. But when I was there I choose to parlay bets that probably gives a good payout. But others say it is very risky to bet and that right. Because when betting it gives you the worst odds to win, and the bets of parlay lose it will lose everything. But in online gambling poker is the best for me.
I think parlay is the riskiest betting type among them all since your chosen bet should win all of the game without losing. Unlike other typical betting type such as straight, it only relies on one game a time which means that your odds to win is more or less 50%. The best thing in parlay is indeed good payout; very worth it if you're too confident for your underdog.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth for me in my situation to start btc trading? on: October 01, 2019, 09:14:21 PM
Nothing is impossible in making profit in trading. However, a trader shouldn't be expecting certainly for his trading profit and his activity since your activity depends on the market movement and your trading strategy at the same time. Sometimes they don't work as what you planned thus you have to imporivise which differs a professional traders to common traders.
488  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Babala]Biased Reporting (Shilling) Maari Nating Ikalugi on: October 01, 2019, 12:47:21 PM

490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 8 Ball Pool game against live players worldwide - is gambling available? on: September 29, 2019, 11:45:23 PM
So far I haven't seen yet but sooner it'll be available to be gambled with crypto just like any other casino games. There are a lot of veteran on that game thus I'm pretty sure those people will be enthusiastic once it happen. I think the owner of that game is considering it. This game could be the most intersting game if it enters the gambling industry.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: September 29, 2019, 03:53:03 PM
If ever this match happen, I'll support and bet for Many Pacquiao since his agility, strength, and speed doesn't reduce despite of his age. Pacman's experience is still an advantage despite of his opponent's young age. He's very open for every possible fight specially if his opponent is undefeated since it's kinda boring for him to fight aginst a challenger who got defeated already by his previous opponent that he already defeated.
492  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit / CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] managed by yahoo62278 on: September 29, 2019, 08:41:35 AM
This is the answer for or concern about the spam of yobit, finally this campaign is manage by a reputable manager.

Link of the campaign, - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188047.0

493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 29, 2019, 06:01:29 AM
Cock fighting is the only game which i believe has the 50- 50% fair change of wining No interference from outside. I enjoy seeing the people screaming and cheering for cocks to win.

I feel bad when cocks kill each other with the blade in their claws.
You are right this do really have that 50-50% chance of winning yet you do only have two options of choosing a fighting cock.
For more "sabong" definition and its history then its really worthy to read up this this article http://www.stuartxchange.org/Sabong
It might be brutal on your own sight but for the people who do have this kind of hobby or gambling activity doesnt really care at all.
It's not brutal since cock/rooster is considered as primary consumer which means they are meant to be eaten by secondary and ternary consumer in which we belong. Although it sounds unfair for them but that's a fact and any single person isn't punishable by the law no matter what he do to that poor cock/rooster.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 29, 2019, 04:11:24 AM
I don't recommend anyone to use this strategy when playing a dice game since you'll just end up losing if the odds turns against you consecutive as you double your bet believeing that you'll eventually recover your loss and not double your capital or more. The emotion in this kind of strategy is too high since the risk is increasing every time you aren't able to what your target is.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 09:24:28 PM
Ok this actually happens to my friend not so long ago, he is going on a boxing match and he will bet for the heavy favorite, then suddenly an unknown guy whisper to him, that the fight is going to be fixed and he supposedly heard it from the favorite to win, locker room, are you going to listen to that and bet for the underdog.

What's your take?
I won't listen to that. I believe that every athlete/player has dignity and won't be easily get blinded by bribery. Thus, I won't change my mind in placing my bet to my desired player/athlete regardless of what that unknown guy told to us/me. I'm not placing bet to a player that I don't know perhaps that's why I'm able to say this. I might be wrong but my perspective in sports betting won't change until I've experienced anomaly to atleast a single game.
496  Other / Meta / Re: How can i increase my rank? on: September 28, 2019, 01:15:32 PM

497  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: September 28, 2019, 10:27:22 AM
in what way  bitcoin can damage the economy ? in the form of mining ? or in the form of illegal use or inapropriate use ?

i think i am going to agree with that because that is a fact but saying bitcoin has no practical use i think im going to disagree on it.

obviously bitcoin are a kind of money or currency therfor it is really useful . its only up to the user if how practical he/she used his bitcoins. .
Indeed. Anything that has a value that is being used either good or bad depends on its users. The major problem isn't because of Bitcoin but rather its users itself. On the other hand generally we can't deny how useful Bitcoin is in revolutionizing our way of transacting online.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Anyone suggest me a Good ICO or an IEO? on: September 27, 2019, 10:39:40 AM
In this past few days, I have been looking and wanting to join any good IEO or an ICO project, But I need to invest with a promising project that maybe profitable in the future.

Any suggestions are accepted, Thank you!
It's not a great idea to choose which an ICO/IEO is good to invest in based on other's opinion/preferences and then once you've get scammed you'll blame them. You should judge which one is good by yourself. Perhaps what you should like for are the factors to consider in choosing which one but it doesn't work all the time since a lot of legitimate projects are just junk right now due to lacking of consistency and development after their sucess.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 27, 2019, 12:42:23 AM
Don't know how to put this but I'll try. So lets say your fav club is about playing against a tougher club which on paper they're far better than your club but in your inner most mind you want your club to win therefore, when it comes to placing a bet, which club will you go far. Will you risk losing the bet to back your team winning that match, when you know the chances of them succeeding are almost impossible but since it's football anything is possible or will you bet against you club winning that match but while the match is ongoing you'll be routing for your club to win (in other words routing for yourself to lose your bet)?

How do you balance the emotion of wanting your club to win but not ready to lose your bet in the toughest of games.
In this scenario, I would rather not to bet/risk my money than to bet against my will since it's difficult to bet against your favorite team for me. If ever I bet on the tougher team and they won, I'll be happy as a gambler but sad as a fan. On the other hand, if I bet on a team which is my favorite who's my favorit yet I know has less chances of winning then it has no difference in throwing your money. There's nothing wrong in not placing bet for every game you are interested in.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: September 26, 2019, 01:45:15 PM
Governments really fear cryptocurrency, but not because it threatens their existence or carries another threat to them. Just cryptocurrency operates on completely different principles than governments work. It is very difficult for governments to control cryptocurrency. It does not directly interact with the state economy and, in fact, is alien to it. Also, cryptocurrency presents a certain difficulty for governments in collecting taxes on profits from this type of activity.
- Well, crypto does not threaten the existence of a government system but it threatens the interests and rules that the government establishes, and not only that, it also threatens the community that the government always protects, the people of a country, a lot of cases report that they have been scammed and lost their assets silly into crypto. The threats that crypto is creating are still being restricted by the government, if there is a surge in the near future, the government will probably have special treatment.
I'm pretty sure that the government doesn't just see crypto as a threat to their existence, rules, interest, or community they are protecting. Government is still considering crypto to be legalized nationwide but they must assure first that its users must be protected by the law in case there's an abuse on using it. It surely takes time, a lot of studies, and experementation in which we can see from different countries. Sooner their perspective will be in favor for crypto once their evaluation has been completed.
