4.1M dump. That's good that whale got some cheap bay now so hopefully is on board long term.

that's one of the main issues though with bay no punishment for keep dumping and buying back cheaper - the current staking set up does not reward holding and collecting bay enough.

We just voted on forking, so the stake will be adjusted. And because this is POS3, the stake can get pretty high when few ppl are staking

I think it's more a matter of perception. There will always be whales buying and dumping, no way to stop that, even if the price raises or the reward goes way up. I hold more BAY then that guy dumped but I'm in it for the long haul. Quite honestly, it could go to 1 USD tomorrow and I would not dump. I WOULD take some profit for sure but, no dumping. Small, regular profit taking will support me and keep BAY healthy. Why bite the hand that feeds you?
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🅰RK🔹A Platform for Consumer Adoption with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on BiTTREX 🔹 on: April 06, 2017, 03:50:57 PM

Pardon the obvious question, what prevents ARK from having the same problem as Lisk in the future?

To which problem are you referring?

(I doubt I'll have the answer. Someone else might. Just wanted to clear up what you're referring to)

Extremley high buy-in to become a delegate. Or, is this by design, not really a problem?

Oh, ok. I suppose it's a problem if you want to be a delegate in future. But less of a problem if you're an early adopter. You could say the same for Dash masternodes, and bitcoin mining. PoS is the same - those with the most coin, get the bigger reward, and are usually the ones who bought the cheapest.

Even if every delegate becomes a pool, the increasing price would still mean it's more expensive to get involved.

Anything going up in price is a reward to an early adopter, and a higher cost to latecomers. Maybe there's more to it that someone else can add though, but that's how I see it at the moment.

Kinda what I was thinking as well. Don't want to clog up the works with too many delegates, keeps things in perspective I suppose. Thx!

ARK is the moon target, next Stratis? You have low level price like Strat, whose ico price is 1129, but you are only 3k. Both awesome.

Five positions till CMC Top Fifty...

people on bittrex are noticing Cheesy highest gains on bittrex 1st volume page.

- IMAGE REMOVED -

Strong coin, strong team and a very crazy flourish road map. It is a matter of time before ARK is a #10 coin, after a few of road map is met, 50k is nothing. My concern and sad part is I can't afford to be a delegate when it's very expensive to maintain.

yes and sadly it will get more expensive.  If you take Lisk for example, marketcap is much higher and it also takes 9 million Lisk to become a delegate which is close to 2.5 million dollars.  That's why the exchanges are drying up and smart money is grabbing as much now as they can.  There's literally only one direction this will end up going.

Pardon the obvious question, what prevents ARK from having the same problem as Lisk in the future?

Update on network:

Supernet wallet caused a fork because it had poor connectivity with the network when it started staking alot of coins.  If you have less than 5 connections you are probably not on the mainchain.  It's still going strong and the supernode is on it, but others are not.
I just updated the bootstrap to it, so you can do file->reload blockchain
but I think many are trying to download it and we are getting an overload on the server.
Other thing you can do is in vericoin.conf remove all other node lines and just put connect=supernode.vericoin.info
this should tether you to only the supernode and you should sync up to the longest chain

And do you not see this as a problem?
If someone is custodian to a large supply of vrc they should go out of their way to not cause such issues.   Others have had access to more vrc then supernet & you or any of the other devs for a longer period of time and have made sure not to mess with the chain.

LoL! Even Bitcoin might fork, give it a rest, shit happens...

Stop saying bullshit. If you have any doubts, just go on the rocketchat, and talk to the team.

They are honest and welcoming.

I have no doubt about the release of open-source code and the quality of the project.

But to know and talk about the project, you have to communicate with the team.

And it's simple, there's a rocketchat for it .. Wink

Some people, these newbies for example, don't seem to understand there are other forums besides this one. Just because you don't see it here doesn't mean it's not being discussed, worked on, planned, applied, etc. CLOAK has it's own forum.

If you just want to increase your post count, go somewhere else to do it. CLOAK has a large, loyal group of core investors and traders who support this project 100%. And, unless you have proof of any accusations you are going to make, don't post them, you are simply wasting our time. Lastly, go back to the beginning of this forum and read EVERY page then, consider making a post...

I installed agama 0.1.6.1, but my interest earned is decreased and also it doesn't change.
Even I wait and refresh the wallet, it doesn't change the interest earned.

will be fixed on the 5 april

Dont you love it when people dont even bother to read even a few posts above ...

It is amazing. If folks actually read the previous posts, we would have half the page count...

and

They might learn something in the process!

Is bitbay ever going to do anything or just get pumped and dumped. I dont see much development happening and I never ever hear any of my crypto friends or people I meat at conferences talking about bitbay.

Lol apparently you haven't even bothered to download the software. It does more than most of the coins in top 100 combined. The coins people talk about at conferences are the ones that get pumped. You've got it backwards. What are we trying to win some sort of popularity contest? I work 8 hour days developing this for 2 years. We don't need your money. Get outta here and go invest in Dogecoin... I hear lots of people talk about it.  Roll Eyes

“You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks”

I LOVE that old proverb, Chinese I believe?

Anyway, even taking a short glance at the recent charts, anyone could see there is a trend building and there must be something behind it. The "something" is some of the best tech in crypto with the coolest feature set out there. Unless you take a little time and read up on BAY, you might not be able to comprehend the future possibilities. This is so much more than a "coin", it really begs for it's own category. At the very least, it is a financial and trading system. Even that still doesn't give full credit to BAY's capabilities. Anyway, it's ok because the name BitBay will start popping up in a lot of new places this year and lot of new people will be getting involved for a lot more reasons that "pumping & dumping" so, lets put that term to bed in the forum shall we?

So, to all you "get in/get out" day traders:

This is real. This where the big boys are playing. Get over the pump & dump mentality.

1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: April 03, 2017, 02:39:44 PM

What a total waste of electrons this forum is!

Guesses, innuendo, accusations, bullshit, trolls, idiots, manipulators, and the occasional rational mind. Why worry about facts when just a guess will pass for certainty?  Why research something when hearsay will produce more outrageous results? Why support the overall good when you can push your own enriching agenda?

There are a few intelligent people here who have researched the subject and know something about NLG but they seem to be in the minority. If your one of them, don't waste your time in the cesspool. For the sake of your own sanity, move on! Sorry I even stopped here, won't make that mistake again...

1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: April 03, 2017, 01:02:43 AM
maybe it is time to take profits again. a lot of people bought in or back at around 6-8 k.
so right now they are 100-150+% up.

so we could still see a drop down to ~10 k before we go up.

Trading volume was extremely low at 6-8K...a lot of people did not buy in at those levels...very few did.   Of course "maybe" the price will go up or maybe the price will go down.  But it's about probabilities and I am holding here.

if you're looking for a quick flip, go trade a shitcoin.

if you're looking for something great, come aboard the ark.

Or, go trade a shitcoin and buy more ARK!

these wallets suck. why cant you just release a normal wallet like every other swinging dick? None of these tips are helping. Angry

A lot of coins don't even have a GUI wallet. XMR just added one recently and it is in the Top 5 cryptos.  So yes it will be a huge positive if we get a stable KMD wallet (and mobile added later), but I get why it is taking awhile.

I get that, i just dont know what to do. I dont even know if my coins are safe. Sad

Your coins exist on the KMD blockchain, not in your wallet. The wallet is simply a way to manipulate them, it does not store them.

Chinese scam for sure . The thread is full of it .

You're such a racist fuck! And don't try to deny it by saying that you're using the Yellow Man theme of this forum on your computer, hence YOUR The thread is full of it. <apologies to babyface peepeeoverflow for saying a very, very bad word, for I gotta play nice because there are children on this thread>

To recap:

Qtum ignores all questions and concerns.
Qtum's kowtowers have introduced the race and homo cards.
Qtum's #1 fanboy in a manchild who no likes bad words.

Madness!

Damn, I'm running out of popcorn, be right back...

been away and missed the 600sat Sad 3 weeks out of 2 years of holding and im not around/ funny stuff.

I wouldn't worry, looking at the charts it looks like were headed for another pump.

Soap box mode ON:

It would be nice if folks simply stopped using the words "pump" and "dump" every time the value of BAY raises or drops, it's so childish and not always the case. There are many reasons for changes in price including adoption and normal buying and selling. Not every price move is a pump or dump.

Soap box mode OFF...

Iguana fully synchs Bitcoin chain in 2:46h and serves as basis for future on-chain scaling with sidechains

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/622kgx/iguana_fully_synchs_bitcoin_chain_in_246h_and/

So, I can assume that installing Agama used what I already had from Iguana install and just brought the chain data up to date?
