Nobody should be responding to this morons threads.

If only you knew what this guy put his group buy members through due to his "depression"...

I'd call you a scam artist, but you're fucking terrible at it:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233624.0

Guys, here are the links to some threads in the Drillbit forum.  It would be much easier to keep info organized if we used distinct threads.

Is it possible to run the 8 board on raspberry pi?

Yes, it will be with cgminer or bfgminer.  I plan on using minepeon myself.

Excited to see the progress, thanks Jesse!  I'm still elated that I'll be the first to ship.  Although I'm sure a bunch will ship together, I hope mine comes wrapped in a pretty pink bow since I'm your first investor.   Grin

What are the general steps remaining to get through production up to shipping?

I thought I saw it somewhere but I can't find it, how do I add a delay on the start of the miners?

Logins are working correctly now. Everthing else will get sorted though out the day

What about the update?

Vern wants the site to be stable as is for a few days before applying the updates

Hell, do the update, so we have a reason for it not being stable. That way it can get fixed all at once and not have the delays or half assed Cryptsy for extra few days

At this point, I agree.  Roll is out and deal with the issues rather than fixing the issues, rolling out and going through it all over again.  Just my project manager instincts kicking in...

I'm genuinely curious...wtf is the point of reserving a post in a thread?

Fuck. I just bought 3 boards yesterday afternoon at 2.5. That was good timing, there goes a couple of hundred bucks down the drain. Sad

Damn, I just got one too...  Always sucks when there's a price drop right after you purchase but what can ya do?   Sad

0.2.4PR2 is running great for me.  I love that it boots bfgminer rather than cgminer, will you keep it this way until it's easy to switch in the GUI?

Check the settings page, you can change the miner there .  (and set parameters if you want)

(Still need easier pool switching, but I know there are higher priorities)  Smiley

Soon Tongue

Neil

Nice, I just noticed that after I posted.  Awesome progress, I plan on adding a 4th for my Drillbit hardware that should arrive soon.

I thought the place for discussing power supplies was on the Drillbit forum?

It is.

This thread should be for announcements and the www.drillbitsystem.com/forum site should be used for technical discussions.

Awesome, thank you! (saved me some reading time)

I'm going to do a little research and you'll likely be hearing from me soon, looks very well organized.

Given you've started so many buys and I don't have time to look through them all, I'm genuinely curious if any of the buys you've started currently have any hardware in possession and mining?

Why would you tip someone because they did what they said they were going to do?  Silly...

We should try to keep the detailed discussions in the smaller threads on the drillbit forum IMO.

I think this is a good idea actually. Why don't we do that; continue PSU, cooling, heatsink, bitcoin apocalype/revolution tec discussion over at the forum and keep this one clear for getting more people 'on board'  Cheesy ... I'm not too fussed, but i did like the way individual discussion could be started over there. Please feel free to keep using it everyone.

ASIC coin is going to cryptsy - it has the most votes here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=309704.0

Just because it has the most votes does NOT mean it's going to Cryptsy.  I highly doubt they're going to take coins purely based on popularity.

Just an FYI there will be an ASC pool added to the dsync pools tomorrow.  I'm sure x3 will be by to post when it's up an running.  If you haven't checked out the dsync pools they're by far the best out there in SHA land.

I just started getting a runtime error in my wallet today that won't allow me to open it.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

In the wallet at the bottom I see:
EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
ReserveKeyFromKeyPool(): read failed
C:\Users\Name\Desktop\TEK\tekcoin-qt.exe in ThreadStakeMinter()

I also tried to move my wallet.dat to another machine and ended up with the same error.

Ideas?

EDIT:  FIXED with --salvagewallet
