I'd get in on this, but everyday that goes by is another day on the back end because you still haven't ordered chips yet at the remaining 1600 chips you need to get sold are going at a snails pace.
What you should do is ask Dave if you can place an order for a smaller batch and make a go of it, because at this rate you won't have chips ordered for another 60 days, then its too late.
Your math skills are exceptional. Obviously you haven't been paying attention the past few days as the orders have increased dramatically.

have anyone open a dispute yet on paypal? i sent him $400 via paypal gift over a month ago. it is still under paypal refund policy 45 days. i am not sure what are my success rate on it if i open a charge. can anyone please guide me?
If that's the case you should also have his email address...send an email. I did and got a refund the next day. Of course the email address goes to his apparent "housemate", but I got a refund regardless. Note: I'm not going to post the email address. Plenty of people have it but I'm not gonna be THAT guy.

Did John manage to contact ragingazn628? Anyone else had any luck contacting him? How long he's not responding? As far as i can see on his forums profile he logged on recently Last Active: August 14, 2013, 04:16:37 AM If he logs on why he isn't responding in the thread? I only have 1 share, but i feel like something really bad may happen if he just refuses to update us on his status...
Anyone of those who wanted out - Did you get your refund?
No, and I have requested via PM, in the thread and via email. How hard can it be to find his address and send someone to check on him? Cmon guys...

Bitcoin / Hardware / Glad chips haven't shipped...

Personally, I'm kinda glad chips haven't been shipped yet due to the increase in difficulty. Sucks that people have put money into preorders but that was your decision. Yifu is a clever bastard but it really should have been expected.
There, I said it.

I am quite interested in a few chips atm. I'm currently coin poor thanks to converting to cash for bills and bitmit auctions lol. I was wondering if you do not reach the goal what will happen. Will you continue to buy and ship the bitfury's or will you refund our coins? If i missed the post regarding this please point me in the right direction.
Barntech, How many chips have to be purchased before you place the order. I'm concerned about timing and wonder if it would be faster to just buy boards directly from MegaBigMiner. Granted, their price is higher per Gh but if they can ship a month sooner then that's a big advantage. Does anyone know at what number the chip counter started at? 2500, 3000, 5000? It's at 2422 now. If it started at 2500 we might have to wait a long time for te order to be placed. PS. I purchased populated boards via Paypal so I have some skin in the game on this group buy. Ideally we have all chips accounted for before the chips become available. I have a feeling that they will start to move quicker as the project moves along and we come closer to the chip availability. At that point, if we still haven't made up the 3000 chips, we will still purchase the chips if we're in a range of left over chips that we can cover. I can't exactly say what that is, but basically if October rolls around and there's still a bunch of chips left over, we'll buy the remaining ones so we can get complete the order. Lets see how interest goes in the next couple weeks. And thanks for placing your order, good to see that number moving. Cheers. Barntech
