What about an option to restart based on the number of devices?
Sometimes I'll have 1 or 2 devices that wont start properly and I'm looking for a way to ensure this doesn't happen when switching pools.
So a setting in the Monitor tab where you could set the minimum number of devices that must be mining after the miner's startup grace period (default 3 minutes I think) and if not, restart the miner again? The grace period can be changed in the INI file, but I think it's best not to reduce it too much or else the miner could spend more time restarting than mining if you have a lot of problematic devices. If I'm understanding you correctly, this should be fairly trivial to add so I'll try to get it in the next update, which should be sometime this weekend. You got it! Will send over a donation once it's released! Also, one thing I'd like to see is the logging/data of times/amount of time spend mining in each pool without having to dig through logs. Thanks, LOVING the program.

I`ve clicked rtefresh so much on this thread my F5 is wearing out. I should get out more.
I had to do this idk how many times past few days xD I've been waiting to see the finished boards. Times like this are when I wish I still used opera... It had an adjustable auto refresh on a timer... There's a plugin for most browsers called "Reload Every". Works like a charm.

Here's one zetacoin.conf that is working: rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcallowip=192.168.62.* rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=17334 port=17333 listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 maxconnections=80
Connect from bfgminer with the following command (zetacoin-qt is running on 192.168.62.152): bfgminer -S opencl:noauto -S erupter:all -o 192.168.62.152:17334 -u user -p pass At first I made the mistake of placing the conf file in the same directory as the executable, which did not work. I then moved it to Zetacoin data directory, and everything started working. I also moved my data directory to another and more spacious disk and linked to from %appdata% (can't stand programs placing huge amounts of data in my system partition): Close the client. Go to %appdata% and move Zetacoin to where you want it to be (e.g.: D:\Zetacoin). Then run cmd.exe cd %appdata% mklink /D Zetacoin D:\Zetacoin
You can also compress the folder so it uses about 10% less space. Start the client again. Is there a post documenting the entire process start -> finish? Not sure what you're supposed to do prior to this and I'd like to start solo mining. Will tip if you feel like putting something together or giving me a hand.

I had 42 FPGA's. I forgot to upgrade the last 2 until Feb of this year. So I will have to wait a little while longer for the last 2 60GH Singles. Wait until you see my Monarch setup once they arrive. Oh we'll be waiting....for a LONG time...

After looking at cointerra's website, their individual chip prices aren't that bad... http://cointerra.com/product/goldstrike1-25th-asic-pack-50-500ghsec-asics/ $139,750 isn't that bad for 50 500gh/s chips. That puts a single chip unit at around $2795. I'd be curious what sort of samples they might send out to test the feasibility of a design. Even though its a ways off, if the cost of the board isn't too high I would certainly be interested in a $3000 500GH/s board. Might be cool if it was mountable in a PC case, as I imagine something like that would require quite a bit of cooling, much more than an array of much smaller bitfury chips. Price per a GH/s would be better than even our cheap bitfury pricing, as we would only get around 225-450GH/s with bitfury based on current and future pricing. EDIT: I'd be interested in trying to run some group hosting as well. I've got years of experience in big IT. Main issue would be the establishing proper legal protection for the customers and for the mining operator. Being based in the US, a mining coop would also have to follow any laws and regulations pertinent to the mining. Just putting it out there as food for thought. Most likely we will be doing something like this. Can't give any details as yet on pricing, but we will make it as cheap and affordable as possible. Thinking about offering whole miners and 1/10th shares in miners. As you mention, this will require hosting. As i have mentioned in a previous post, my preference would be for small farms in each city so a little collective of people could form in any given place as a bitcoin mining co-op of sorts. That way people could meet and be able to visit the hardare that they have a share of. Also, it would help to fight against the centralization and monopolization of the Bitcoin network that i feel is coming with the new wave of hardware. Nice to see you putting your hand up console cowboy. Yes, the legal situation would have to be solid so no one gets scammed but that shouldn't be too hard. Are people into this idea? Barntech Totally into this and would be interested in hosting. I'm in Los Angeles, CA. (If anyone wants to combine on shipping for these boards shoot me a message)

I woke up this morning and it's almost like Christmas! Awesome to see the progress!
Cointerra may be a little rich for my blood at this point, but I do hope you guys continue with these projects!
Yay christmas. I know, cointerra is a bit crazy at 500 GH/s per chip, but we're thinking about perhaps getting some little farms going that people could buy shares in. Do you think people are interested in this sort of thing. The idea is something along the lines of finding someone to be responsible for hosting in each city and everyone from that city could joing the co-op and be able to go round, see the equipment etc. This seems preferable to me than one centralized farm in a foreign land that you don't get to interact with. Thoughts? Barntech. I'm not really opposed to the farm route that people can buy into if there's a strong possibility of some real ROI. If prices for hardware continue to be barely (if at all) profitable then I'd prefer to have my own hardware that I can enjoy and manage personally rather than leaving it to someone else. I like the new tech and would prefer to be more hands than allowing someone to manage for me. Regardless, once things work out here I'll find a way to get involved in future projects. I'm still amazed at the communication and transparency of the project and I'm fairly certain since I bought in on day 1 I can speak for everyone when I say it's appreciated.
