No doubt if we are worthy of making Eth for long -term investment, besides holding I suggest to use staking, but based on my experience it is better if staking in Spot Exchanges even though APY is very small because the security level is better than the dex that occurs a lot of hack wallet cases.
For the long run, I think Ethereum is quite feasible to invest, this coin has a much better level of stability, so the opportunity to avoid risk can be maximized. Regarding the hacker case, it really depends on what people use in the exchange, because usually the level of security is only we can maximize it, because before we use, it must be through research and then make the decision to choose which one
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 15, 2022, 04:14:21 AM
Manchester United is made a joke by people today, where their first two matches lost heavily in the competition, even though their opponents are not so calculated in England, then what if Manchester United face Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea?

An important note for Ten Hak is their back line, where almost 80 percent of the mistakes made are quite fatal even the occurrence of goals comes from their mistakes, Ronaldo doesn't seem suitable anymore to be at Manchester United, because Ten Hak's coaching style does not rely on one player, meaning Ronaldo must pick up and process the ball to create goals.

Even though Ronaldo's style of play accepts passes and scores goals, especially now that Ronaldo is not as sharp as he used to be?
Not even so, Manchester United are experiencing setbacks and players lose confidence in playing, so it is quite influential from every match they play, Ronaldo is still quite productive when seen last season, the coaching style of the rights is also not as fully as you said.
Maybe they will be very difficult in dealing with Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, but Ten Rights have known their weaknesses now, just waiting for improvement and motivating players
Swallowing defeat in the early Premier League match was really a disgrace for Manchester United, poor results (0) points in two games this season made Erik ten Hag anxious. Two defeats to Brighton and Brentford made Ten Hag the first Manchester United manager to lose back-to-back Premier League starts in 20 years.
Manchester United fans still doubt that their team will be able to win in their third match, because the opponents facing Manchester United are stronger than Brighton and Brentford. Manchester United will host Liverpool at Old Trafford in the next match, Liverpool will add to the suffering of Manchester United as well as give Ten Hag their third defeat and make Manchester United increasingly sinking at the bottom of the standings.
This is the same as @mumang siat's question, how Manchester United when facing big clubs like Liverpool, two successive defeats experienced by Manchester United, become a strong signal about his future at Old Trafford, this will be a bet as a predicted coach It will succeed, the demands of managers and fans have not been achieved.
The match against Liverpool is the beginning of the resurrection of Erik Ten's foster children or is an increasingly difficult step, even though we know that the quality of Manchester United is now far enough to beat Liverpool, it is interesting to wait for the match
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: August 14, 2022, 04:24:59 AM

Most countries are giving excuses and  reason for banning Bitcoin is because it can easily be used to fund crimes.
But I think they are afraid of losing control of their citizens' financial activities because they believe being the ones regulating financial activities makes them powerful.
What are your thoughts
It has not been proven that the use of bitcoin is committed for crime, from the cases that have ever existed, it shows that it is not in large numbers, in fact fiat currency also dominates crime when compared to bitcoin, this does not make sense to outsmart the reasons for crime.

But the fear of losing control of financial activities, this is a little more reasonable, but in my opinion it is not the finances of the citizens, but rather the local government, because if the reason is citizens, at this time we have adopted bitcoin in the application of investment or financing of certain goods and services.

Criminal activity involving bitcoin is very small according to my knowledge?
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 14, 2022, 03:41:08 AM
I really sympathy with loss of my friends at here, I also lost but yesterday when I bet on Sevilla. The start of season is not an easy thing to predict, I believe that. How Barcelona made a lot of kicks but didn't score a goals, it proves that the star players still not yet compatible in with this team, It seems Xavi has to think more and more for next week versus Sociedad.
Barcelona still have to fix some weak points, the team has not played together collectively, so they have not been able to take advantage of scoring opportunities, Xavi has a lot of work to do this season, the new players have not performed optimally in the first game of the season, unlike last year. -The previous year, Barcelona seemed to have lost confidence in playing, so they couldn't take advantage of opportunities to score goals, still lucky the opponent also had difficulty scoring goals, so both of them could only get 1 point.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 14, 2022, 03:17:52 AM
You are Manchester United but you are even being demolished by a team like Brentford 4-0. This is really terrible for a big team of this league. They are still no different than last season which is the worst thing a fan would imagine about their team. There must be still some management issues to be solved. We can't show this like it is all Erik ten Hag's fault. There is something bigger behind this I believe.
Manchester United played so badly, mistakes were made, so they conceded 4-0, the first goal was a mistake by Goalkeeper De Gea and the second was done by Eriksen, what we saw last night was totally unexpected, that Manchester United were beaten by opponent, this is an important note for Ten Hak in the next match, that the defender is very problematic and cannot be relied on, if this change is not immediately made by Ten Hak, then it is very likely that he will not last a season as Manchester United training
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 10, 2022, 04:14:14 AM
I do not think that they are really looking for a championship at all. I feel like there is a good chance they just want to be at the UCL levels (top 4) and that is good enough for them. Maybe that doesn't sound realistic to you, but I do believe that it would be the case for them this year.

When Real Madrid is the latest UCL winner and when Barcelona spent the most money in Europe, you can't really build a team that will rival those teams, how could you. Plus they do not even have the call for it, like Lewandowski wanted to be in Barcelona, nobody really wants to be in ATM, they just end up there if they can't play in bigger clubs hence why it's harder.
Rather than Atletico madrid, I think the players are more interested in joining Real Madrid or Barcelona because of their history and good title chances. Lewandowski is an example, Kounde is too, and they believe only that can help them get closer to achievement.

Now the Barcelona situation is heating up because there has been no resolution to the problem to register its players in Laliga. Salary and contract issues are being discussed, there is negative news about it but I think they will sort it out soon.
It looks sarcastic but it's true, the fact that being at Atletico and hoping for the title I don't think it's the right choice even if Atletico is a pretty good club it's just wishful thinking. Madrid and Barcelona are the right clubs but the problem is that when you want to be there, it's clear that skills at an average level will not be able to qualify.
Being at that club doesn't guarantee the title race for next season, Atletico Madrid doesn't dominate, actually Real Madrid and Barcelona are still quite hard to beat in the title race, but the problem is the same as you said, to be part of these two big clubs you have to have skills, and talent above average, the most likely thing to do is to compete in the top three standings and continue playing in the champions league, while the title race needs to increase its strength to dominate the two big clubs that exist
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: August 09, 2022, 04:47:04 AM
alot of posts seem to be focused on the price of bitcoin. i understand why because they are wanting to sell it for a profit but is that the purpose of bitcoin or was there some other purpose for it? i thought it was originally designed to just be a way to transfer digital cash in a decentralized manner but it seems like people don't really care about that part of it and all they care about is what its price is. seems they got the wrong idea of bitcoin.

thing is, for alot of people it seems like when bitcoin price is "high" they think that means it is succeeding more than when it is "low". but if we think about bitcoin's intended purpose, it doesn't matter what the price is as long as bitcoin can be transferred peer to peer without any centralized party being involved. so if bitcoin was worth $1 people shouldn't complain.
Investing in Bitcoin is not like buying some other coins, because the process of buying bitcoins takes time, otherwise people have to wait for a bigger strengthening of the issued capital, some people are involved in crypto investments and especially bitcoins are just looking for profit, they don't care with any gap to the future of bitcoin or bitcoin's initial design focused solely on transferring digital money in a decentralized manner.

That's why people never want to know about the initial concept, they pay attention and focus only on profit

From various reasons, both pros and cons, digital currency has been so developed among people, this also shows that the process of advancing a technology is not only limited to old things, and there are many other cases related to the advantages and use of digital money as easy transaction tool
Many things have become easy for everyone to do through digital currency now. That is why many people have started to like cryptocurrencies because it is easy to make transactions through cryptocurrencies with various networks that are already available. So Blockchain technology and also those related to cryptocurrencies will continue to develop because it is considered to make it easier for each user to complete certain jobs.
However, this understanding will only apply in developed countries, because technology and development are easier to develop there, while in developing countries they tend to think differently, where only a small number of people are involved in technological developments, Cryptocurrency in particular has been so developed for now, where many people have been involved in it, this is a challenge in doing something new, it is not impossible in the future crypto will expand to other things related to human life
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: August 08, 2022, 04:59:54 AM
Cryptocurrency as a digit asset based currency is on a  daily gradually gaining the widespread acceptance as expected, looking at 2010 compared to this day 2022 the awareness and engagement has been tremendous and it's quite a welcome development despite the ban placed on it by few governments.

I came across a video that has made social media talking which shows how a crypto class was conducted by a church for it's members to be educated about the knowledge of cryptocurrency.

According to the source:
The video was captioned, "Crypto training. Proverbs 14:23In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.'' According to the netizen who shared the clip, the pastor got a professional to train congregants on crypto. While boasting that such an opportunity can't be got anywhere, the netizen expressed joy that 'kingdom wealth is on the way.' In the clip, a projector is seen displaying a crypto trading chart while people listened.

https://www.legit.ng/people/1478160-crypto-chuch-pastor-tutor-train-members-crypto-church-video-stirs-reactions-social-media

Does this look like  a plus to the crypto community?
This is a sign that Cryptocurrencies are increasingly in demand by many people, in the previous year until now, asset-based currencies have developed quite rapidly, even some of them can be made transactions like using fiat money that ever existed.

From various reasons, both pros and cons, digital currency has been so developed among people, this also shows that the process of advancing a technology is not only limited to old things, and there are many other cases related to the advantages and use of digital money as easy transaction tool
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 08, 2022, 04:46:12 AM
Recently El Salvador confirmed bitcoin magnets tourists to the nation. Claims bitcoin attracted 1.1 million visitors in 6 month was opposed by the wall street journal, saying most visitors never used bitcoin in the bitcoin beach and other stores that accepted bitcoin in the country. Given an example of a small bohemian hotel “Lagarza" owned by Daniel García, who confirmed only 15 bitcoin transaction since it became a legal tender in the country.

He went further saying that most visitors in the country paid with bitcoin to brag, though, it was made known in the article that, some vendors in El Salvador don't have a bitcoin wallet. And the country need to teach citizens how to transact with bitcoin to enable swift transaction.

What could have attracted cryptocurrency tourists to El Salvador if not bitcoin? So I think the wall street journal article covered a small part of El Salvador hotels.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2022/07/06/el-salvador-bitcoin-beach/ (Proves visitors don't use bitcoin)

https://www.google.com/amp/s/cointelegraph.com/news/tourists-flock-to-el-salvador-despite-bitcoin-bear-market/amp (Proves traders use bitcoin)
This clearly shows that the understanding of people in that country has not been maximized regarding the use of bitcoin as a means of payment, when viewed from the content of the news you load, bitcoin is not fully understood by the people there.

Or it could be that they don't fully trust Bitcoin as a means of payment that makes it easy for them to transact, we can also conclude an illustration of the example in that country, the convenience offered by the developer concept also doesn't look optimal, I think this is also involved in matters of trust in the level of security and comfort in Bitcoin usage in the environment
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 08, 2022, 04:34:25 AM
Manchester City seems to have a hard time facing Liverpool, even though these two clubs have their respective stars, even being able to bring in new players who are predicted to be huge successes at their respective clubs, the Community Shield Cup is an illustration of how their competition is, although it does not refer to who will lead this season, for Manchester City's game against West Ham, shouldn't be too difficult for City tonight, but West Ham are not to be taken lightly either.
If the opponent Manchester City is not Liverpool, then Manchester City will not have so much trouble facing him even though West Ham should not be underestimated by Manchester City, but in terms of the quality of the players and the ability of the existing players, I see that Manchester City is still more dominant. And also very strong when compared to West Ham.
The match was won by Manchester City with 2 goals without reply, meaning that Manchester City still has to improve, Elend Haaland and his friends still waste a lot of opportunities to score in last night's match, even though when viewed from ball control, explained Manchester City far superior, even able to score more than two goals, but for the opener I think Manchester City deserve the full points
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 07, 2022, 08:12:24 AM
Manchester City will play against West Ham today. They saddened me by losing to Liverpool in the Community Shield cup match. They did not give a good picture against Liverpool. On the other hand, West Ham fought hard to qualify for the champions league last year. They are definitely not a bad team. I want Manchester City to win this match, but I can't say for sure about the outcome of the match.

1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Disliked Bitcoin on: August 07, 2022, 08:03:25 AM
Not everyone uses it in the wrong way, so it's unethical when we compare everything the same
It depends on how we use something whether for ethical purpose or doing some illicit activities with it and people directly links bitcoin usage with illegal works as fiat is pure in these matters and nothing bad trade can happen with it but didn't know it's more easy to trace bitcoin transactions rather then fiat P2P one's as you can't tell which serial numbers notes are being used but still the negativity about btc is high.Until people understand it they will hesitate to use it but it's more safe.
As I said earlier, the utilization is quite dependent on where we place it, it does not mean having a similar level of doing something, let alone comparing all behaviors to one goal, where we put the blame on a common line.
The use of pure Bitcoin or Fiat is not involved in certain cases, where the fraud is only a small part of what people do irresponsibly, that's the reason and the reason I don't involve all of this in the same way.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Disliked Bitcoin on: August 04, 2022, 03:58:04 AM
I've known Bitcoin since 2012 but started using it in 2019, though it was still for payments (funding and withdrawal) of online Forex trading, nothing more because I was careful to deal with something that might aid illegality. I later discovered that I was naive at that time, the latest development/revolution in Bitcoin made me ever feel bad and I had lost a lot of opportunities in the past to this.

The lesson learned was that it is better to move closer to what is new to us than to be condemning it from afar. Can you imagine that despite having enough money to invest in the cryptocurrency between 2019 -2021, I was adamant that I wouldn't because I believed Bitcoin aids legalities like trafficking, money laundering, terrorism, activities of drug barons, and many more. I forgot to think that as it has its advantages, it also has its disadvantages, no system works perfectly.

Thanks to the present-day awareness, development and regulations that make it clear that Bitcoin is not as porous as I thought. 95% of my only transactions are now crypto-based.

I love to read your stories about Bitcoin adoption too!
People's greed cannot cause an impulse to manipulate, bitcoin becomes a tool for them to get an advantage, in ways that are inappropriate and according to them it is worth doing, but when people can do something wisely, then the use of crypto can be done in accordance with the following ways: the right way.

Not everyone uses it in the wrong way, so it's unethical when we compare everything the same
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 03, 2022, 05:20:40 AM
I don’t have enough Bitcoin (yet) to borrow for anything significant, but this is my ultimate plan. When I get enough Bitcoin, I would borrow no more than half its worth (in case the price drops), and then I would still have Bitcoin along with whatever property I buy with the borrowed money.

This seems like a smarter move than to sell the Bitcoin for fiat money. If I sell, then I have to pay capital gains tax. When the cash is borrowed, there is no tax. Since I still have the Bitcoin, then I will gain when the price rises. If I only have fiat, the “price” will always go down because of inflation.

I hope Bitcoin will eventually replace the fiat system, but until then, the market for cash favors borrowers over savers. This seems like a win-win situation.

Does anyone else plan on doing this?
Because the cash market is more likely to have an advantage, if it is lending rather than savers, that's why they are more after that kind of thing, but actually we can also take advantage of bitcoin to get maximum profit.

For example, we can buy bitcoin at a low price, so we can trade until bitcoin goes up at a high price, especially now that market conditions have an opportunity for us to buy and make investment schemes as we want.

The most important thing is that the method we use can generate profits, whether large or small, it really depends on how prepared we are in making investments, be it capital or the long or short-term strategies that we use.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 03, 2022, 05:06:48 AM
Aaron Ramsey, midfielder for the Wales national team, has left Juventus and joined Ligue 1 side Nice.
A week after severing his contract with the Bianconeri, the 31-year-old signed on as a free agent.
Ramsey spent three years with Juventus after his contract with Arsenal expired in 2019. However, he had difficulty adjusting to life in Italy and made just three Serie A appearances in the previous season before joining Rangers on loan.
The style of play in England and Italy is quite different, so it is difficult for players to adapt and adjust, in Europe the age of 31 is no longer productive for some players, so it will be quite difficult to find a new club, Aaron Ramsey played quite well in the Arsenal shirt, but when he played at Juventus his name was getting dimmer, this time proof was needed, regarding the quality of Aaron Ramsey.

If he fails to shine, then his career will be increasingly questioned, especially since he is no longer young for now.
In Europe the rules for players are very strict because indeed they give a very good show because with the age regulation it can give a good match performance and it will be good to watch, as happened to some old players even though he already has above average skills. but if the age exceeds these rules it will be difficult to accept. As for Juventus a few days ago he managed to get a balanced score against Barcelona in my opinion, it was an extraordinary achievement because he was able to score a draw with a very strong opponent.
It's not just a matter of rules, age also determines a person's level of fitness and physicality in playing, although not all players over the age of 30 are no longer productive, because in fact there are still many players over 30 who are still quite productive, regarding the draw against Barcelona yesterday, this has not been a reference for Juventus, that they are already so strong and ready to enter the league this season, because pre-season is only part of the comparison of strengths to prepare for various shortcomings before competing in the official league
1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to have its biggest monthly gain since October 2021. on: August 02, 2022, 04:56:41 AM
After the start of a much-needed bullish relief this week, bitcoin and crypto are inching closer to getting the best monthly gain since October of 2021when we had the release of the first Futures ETF Bitcoin in the US. That's indeed some much-needed and appreciated relief we are getting right now after months of constant extreme fear and red candles.

How long we will continue to rally or how sustainable this rally is, is quite debate-able but we should just get a bit happy for the moment now, we don't get such times always in crypto and especially after the years past few months. Also, we are not having any significant planned economic event next month as there is no FOMC to raise rates. So we may have some space left on this rally…
The market is nearing a gradual recovery for now, there are some coins starting to rise and finding their best, although not so maximal at standard prices, bitcoin is the most eagerly awaited for future recovery, since the correction started taking place after the new ATH achievement in 2021.

The most appropriate or profitable now is to make a monthly investment scheme, meaning that we see opportunities in the short term for bitcoin, because the prolonged rally has not been able to provide guarantees, so to maximize it it is necessary to do a monthly scheme, so that the investments made can be utilized in the near future

1740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: July 01, 2022, 10:19:31 AM
The basis of agreement on the understanding you mentioned is that the current conditions are the right step to make purchases of Bitcoin, generally people will stop at this low point, because they think that this will be over, even though if you look at the bitcoin cycle in 2017 to 2021 it is almost similar.

Then what anxiety makes many people feel excessively afraid?
Actually they're not stop at this situation, but they're want to make same 4 year cycle like you mentioned above, they're think that Bitcoin price will make new ATH on 2025 if they're stick with the 4 year cycle. Since this year is supposed to be the bottom, they're converting their Bitcoin to stable coin and waiting until the bottom. At that times they will hold until 2025 and sold it.

The anxiety is because of so many experts or speculators that predict Bitcoin price will goes below $10K, $1K and so on, they're investing because of people prediction lol.
For now I don't think that bitcoin will finish just because of a correction, it's really confusing if we enter this space with such a narrow understanding and that's why I personally don't follow stupid observations that only make references on the basis of corrections.

The annual cycle that occurs with bitcoin, should be a reference, that market conditions react accordingly, if our analytical skills exceed that, then it is certain that the final decision will be quite profitable, hopefully we are in that position
