1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 24, 2022, 11:43:14 AM
Please correct me if I got it all wrong, audited projects are projects that have passed some security checkup right? As a newbie I kinda like investing in projects that are audited atleast so back to my question, USDT is the biggest stable coin right? When I tracked it on coinmarketcap I found out that's it passed audits through Certik and Fairyproof, why haven't this clear the rumour that USDT might fail someday? Because it's Centralised? If that's it then why DAI ( decentralized stable coin) haven't grow over USDT all this while?
USDT is a token/coin that has greater stability and volume, so many people think this is not a failed project, but even so, USDT has also been rumored to be a fraudulent project and even considered a failure, so far I don't find the issue true, because to this day I still keep these assets, when an audit was carried out, there were considerations that made them pass, so they deserve to be used as valuable assets, as I know USDT is a decentralized token/coin by itself, if I'm not mistaken.
1842  Economy / Speculation / Re: The long term way is down on: February 24, 2022, 11:32:15 AM
I'm not confused that BTC will reach a new ATH this year anymore since we entered 2022 every recoveries are not strong, on the long run the way is always down, what do you think? I'm i wrong or right?
It's hard to guess and make predictions for bitcoin this year, let alone talk about the achievement of ATH, I'm sure bitcoin will return to normal, but I'm not sure when it will continue, the achievement of ATH usually applies if the initial price has stabilized or strengthened suddenly, but currently the condition of bitcoin is still stagnant, there is no significant price change, which certainly everyone expects bitcoin to reach a new ATH, but we do not know when that achievement will continue.
1843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: February 24, 2022, 11:02:03 AM
You have no other option. I joke about the whalecumulators, but what else can we plebs do? Buy the dip, and HODL! You do not want to end up empty handed on the next cycle, https://twitter.com/misir_mahmudov/status/1118243131584065537

Always zoom out if in doubt, https://bitcoin.zorinaq.com/price/

every decrease in bitcoin and altcoins is an opportunity to make a purchase, many people are not able to take advantage of the condition of the decline in price as a step to buy, so when the good trend is happening in bitcoin and altcoins we are not able to benefit from both, I think we should be able to follow the good trend against bitcoin after making a purchase in a correction condition, because that's when we will get the maximum profit

A common problem is that potential bitcoin investors get scared or worried into doing nothing.. so can we know that the BTC price is going to dip more?  I would say that we cannot know.. so it may well be better to buy once a week with extra cashflow than to be waiting for lower prices that might not happen...

At the same time, I can understand that sometimes people run out of money too.. so they do not have much if any extra cashflow coming in.. so it is not an easy balance to know how much to buy now, versus waiting for another dip. if another dip might happen or not.. maybe?  maybe not.

Regarding your mentioning shitcoins.. fuck shitcoins.. who cares about that?  That's a topic for some other thread to figure out calculating which if any of them might be of any value at all versus how much risk exists to involve yourself with various forms of crap.. . and need not get into discussions here to figure out which shit coin might be less shitty than some other shitcoin...   In other words, this thread is about bitcoin... not some amorphous concept that includes considering how much to allocate to shitcoins. possibly zero would be a good number to make the dilemma less difficult in terms of running out of money to buy bitcoin if you happen to be using some of your cashflow to invest in crap.
Investment patterns contain different ways, sometimes people believe bitcoin in the long term will be better, so they adopt the long term as a strategy, really no one can be sure what bitcoin will be in the long term, but hasn't bitcoin shown a fairly improved development from early appearance.
the problem of people investing anywhere is not my business, and it doesn't really matter what they want to do, right now I'm only interested in discussing bitcoin, because this coin has proven to be more stable than others, so try to think wisely to start a discussion with each other.
It's true that it's a waste of time investing in bullshit coins, but we should also appreciate the people who do that, because not everyone can afford to invest in bitcoin.

1845  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: February 23, 2022, 11:39:54 AM
I am been having doubt recently that the price of bitcoin may not stay long above $40000, it is like the market is full of bears than bulls or maybe the bulls have become bears for this time until the next bull phase. Bitcoin increase some days ago above $45000, it decreased back to $41500, then increase again yesterday to $44500. I have predicted that if the price do not touch $45000 and above for now, that it is possible the bears will dominate and which is happening. Since yesterday, the price of bitcoin has slightly been on the decreasing side.

Everyone is expecting bitcoin to get to $50000 again, but I am thinking this is not possible for now, I know the price will increase above $50000 but I think it is not now. But what I am mostly thinking about right now is that will $40000 be a support for bitcoin or will the price still decrease further again making it to touch $30000.
Bitcoin's future confidence will reach more than $40000, as the market is now closer to the recovery of the correction from before, although the support for the recovery has not fully returned to the normal path, but when compared to the previous month, bitcoin is now on the green track slowly, I think for the future bitcoin will find a real recovery, a lot of support that convinces us that in the future bitcoin will return to the green path
1846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Rocket 🚀 mood. on: February 17, 2022, 06:39:13 AM
The Bitcoin market witnessed an intermittent price rocket movement in the early hours of today as Bitcoin price was standing at $37k at the early hours of Friday but jumped to $40,300 towards the late hours of today this is a movement that surpassed our expectations.

Source of the chart: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
With so much good news around Bitcoin from various countries around the world adopting Bitcoin after El Salvador made the first move Bitcoin is in another phase for mainstream operation.
From one week ago bitcoin has been progressing, there is an upward movement although not so big, many people say bitcoin will return to a good trend, if you pay attention to the market for now there is a level of stability for the bitcoin price, so is this an early bullish point to reach the recovery phase correction, or this move just smacks investors to keep buying, then bitcoin will return to a steeper path, but I think a bullish point outweighs a sharp decline going forward.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: February 17, 2022, 06:10:08 AM
76% of finance professionals believe that digital assets “will serve as a strong alternative to, or outright replacement for, fiat currencies in the next 5-10 years,” according to Deloitte’s annual global blockchain survey.

Is there any possibility that this could happen or this was just another speculation that is impossible to believe, but if we are going to look at the percentage of finance professionals that believe on the possible replacement of fiat with digital assets I think we are in 90% basis in favor of rival or replacement of fiat. Show me your comments about this news guys if you believe or not with this possible replacement?
The possibility remains, as long as the development of cryptocurrencies can take over fiat currency, but we must also understand that fiat currency is not a new product in the country's challenges, meaning that it will be difficult to replace, many laws and rules must be changed if fiat currency is eliminated, the world currency regulators will also not remain silent on this big issue, I think it is difficult to change something that is standard in the next 10 years, I think this is still very speculative, even though in fact we see a support base of almost 90% agree.
1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 16, 2022, 06:19:39 AM
http://festyy.com/eaI4ss

Nonetheless, experts may seem to predict the current situation and that bitcoin will likely experience a steep drop in the upcoming months.
But is it really possible for bitcoin to achieve $50k by march? Given that the market is currently declining.
What are your thoughts on this?
Anything possible can happen in the future, as long as the market is still in the correction phase, but what we need to understand is that bitcoin resistance is almost back on the right track, meaning that there is an increase in prices from before for now, although not as maximal as the price at the end of 2021, the price range for it's still holding up, not going down too far or going too high, I'm sure in March there will be big changes for bitcoin.
1849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is becoming more and more like a stock on: February 16, 2022, 06:02:10 AM
It seems that crypto investors have started looking for money with game-based altcoins and virtual worlds or metaverses in order to quickly get money to invest in bitcoin.
Even though the bitcoin price is still in the process of recovering after being hit by negative sentiment related to skepticism that has come from several financial authorities since the beginning of 2022 yesterday.
Yet bitcoin is still the mainstream investment asset for crypto investors for now and in the future.
The tendency of investors to see opportunities cannot be separated from previous experience, if investors start to see opportunities in game-based altcoins in the virtual world or metaverse, this is a natural thing from previous saturation, but I believe their main asset and target is only bitcoin collection, because in the long term only bitcoin can survive and have a better impact, sometimes try new things but don't forget the initial investment, I think this is what investors do.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: February 16, 2022, 05:26:39 AM
holding coins is certainly the easiest thing to do and the least risk you will get, but you need to know also what coins you are holding, if you hold a doge I think it is the right action you have done.
Dogecoin is not that risky to hold, but if you expect big profits I don't think it will be achieved again, the hype for dogecoin has passed, this coin has reached its highest price in 2021, going forward I doubt Dogecoin will provide a greater selling value, so far the highest achievement for dogecoin has passed, it is worth looking for another coin with more potential.
1851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market sentiments ? on: February 09, 2022, 09:29:09 AM
Things started looking good, giving a bit relief!!
But wait!!! Again sudden dip of  $5000 in a few hours?? How can we explain it: Are bad actors manipulating it or it just the market sentiments towards downward making such huge pricefall?
I think there are activities that involve bad actors in manipulating, coupled with the market sentiment that led to such a huge price fall, these two things if you pay attention to have a relationship that affects the market continues to be corrected, but there has been little change in these two days in the market, Bitcoin has back on a good track even though it's not optimal, I think the correction will find a phase of change in the next month.
1852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc and future value on: February 09, 2022, 07:55:14 AM
In the future if you have one btc and it cost 40k.
Then it means in 7-10 years about you dont have one btc
But...you have 40k btc as in the future we dont count value by fiat currency the crypto will be the currency.
Those who got crypto will own everything.
It means with 40k btc you have purache power 40k x 40k=? A lot lambos a lot lands a lot mansions.

Good calculation for long term investment preparation, but the question now is to what extent these calculations can be implemented into real investment, everyone has confidence to buy bitcoin at 40k price, then keep in the long term the investment, I think this is an investment preparation step That's right, as long as you can implement the investment in the long term, it's not just a discourse that appears.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: February 04, 2022, 07:37:20 AM
Honestly, I've experienced panic! since I bought Bitcoin at $50000, and now the price has dropped to $37000,
how not to panic huh? and indeed I have sold 50% of my Bitcoin assets, and waiting to buy at a low price, reportedly Bitcoin will go down again,
but for now I still have the intention to buy altcoins only, some of my chosen altcoins are CKB and Algo.
It's natural for people to panic during market conditions like this, because we are risking our money, but I think this needs to be controlled, meaning that panic doesn't make us take the wrong steps, altcoins are also good assets to invest in, as long as they have good potential in the future, regarding the selection of altcoins, it is up to someone to analyze its potential and future movements.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: February 02, 2022, 08:44:16 AM
Yes it is true that holding any cryptocurrency for the long term is a good strategy because it can give you a big profit in the future. But it can only be a good strategy if you pick the right cryptocurrencies which can give you a huge return.Thats why it is advisable for everyone especially for those new investor to do some research first before entering the world of cryptocurrency. It is important that you know about the market before investing. As well as know the best asset (crypto) for investment.I would suggest that is better to invest in crypto that is well-known (its either btc or etherium)
Holding cryptocurrencies in the long term is good, but we will have difficulty getting profits in the short term, long and short terms should be used simultaneously, if we have made long-term investments, then short-term investments must also be made, by recognizing coins that good and has potential.
If you only rely on the long term, then time will be wasted, even though in the short term there are also coins that we can use, I think both should be done simultaneously.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 26, 2022, 07:34:11 AM
only old holders know that hold it is gold, because marken cant fall too long time! but it touchs only serious projects
yes we can't just hold without knowing the potential of the tokens or coins we hold
before holding we need to study the token or coin that we will hold as an indicator that the project has potential we can analyze it through the white paper and the strength of the community
If without all of that, we will walk in the dark, investments cannot be made without knowing the potential of the tokens we hold, this indicator is very much needed to identify these tokens growing, analysis and community strength we must be able to trace, so that the investments we make are not worth it in the middle of the road, this is very important in starting investments, both long term and short term.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the highest gas fee you have ever paid? on: January 24, 2022, 03:29:37 PM
Few months ago, I have paid over $120 during network congestion, since then I double check the gas fee on Metamask before clicking send button. The ETH devs should find a solution for insane gas fee and we should stick to ETH network instead of BSC, TRX.
gas costs are so high, it has become a hot topic until now in various forums, the ethereum network is currently so avoided by people, even I have seen projects in the bounty have to replace the ethereum network to the BSC network, because the number of followers of the project is quite large, thus forcing development to replace network, in the long term this is not corrected, it is likely that ethereum will be replaced by another network.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: January 21, 2022, 07:16:37 AM
I Holded Doge for almost 6 months it doesn’t rise as much was expected,i shift to c98 it’s also on downfall ,cause the father of all the coins BTC is also in dip ,now i am on hold of the c98 and expecting for its Shine,i think luck matters alot in trading not only Good knowledge.
Luck is not always on our side, so relying on this alone is not enough, in the current market conditions, many coins have corrected beyond predictions, so it takes patience to control all of that, the point is now is not a move to sell, be patient in recovery until months going forward, hopefully the market will return to the green line, so that we can take advantage of good opportunities in the future.
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the highest gas fee you have ever paid? on: January 21, 2022, 04:03:05 AM
We all know how most of us are sick and tired of Ethereum’s exorbitant and uncontrollable gas fees these days? But I wanna hear some experience from you guys. Whenever you trade, transfer an ERC20 token, swapping it on Uniswap or minting and buying an NFT on the OpenSea, etc., can you remember what is the highest gas fee you’ve ever paid?

Let’s begin with me. Mine was like almost $100 in ETH for just claiming my tokens from the bounty that took me a year of waiting. Would love for you to share your experiences as well! Thanks!
this is the biggest problem right now, people complain about the high cost of ethereum gas, but on the one hand we see the growth of ethereum getting better and bigger, even for me personally there are quite a lot of transactions with the ethereum smart chain, but not counting in detail how much a lot has been done, it's strange to see people's response to this smart chain, but their development is getting better than before.
1859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Hit $150,000 in 2022 on: January 19, 2022, 07:09:19 AM
As the rate of inflation rise all over the world, Bitcoin is seen as the hedge over inflation which is why so many analyses predicted $70,000 Bitcoin price in 2021 which was achieved as Bitcoin made an all-time price of above $70000 and the deflationary forces that faced the top commodities and exchange globally forced Bitcoin price to drop back to its present price. This has led me to say that 2022 Bitcoin is going to cross the $100,000 bitcoin price predictions.
What is the extent of bitcoin's influence on the world?
predictions of achieving the highest price for bitcoin began to be made in 2020, as I remember at that time many experts said bitcoin would reach a price of $ 60K, it is true that the prediction, now bitcoin continues to move at the highest price, the problem now is the correction in 2021 has not yet fully recovered, thus forcing bitcoin to be on a red path, although some people say this is a new ATH achievement scenario going forward.
1860  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 19, 2022, 06:34:57 AM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible? It seems no one is talking about this price anymore and now BTC is fighting at the 40k range, what do you think could still happen? Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible
I can say it's possible, but not in the near future, bitcoin should be able to recover the current correction, this will be the first focal point, otherwise it will be very difficult to reach the price, market sentiment is still continuing until now, so it is very difficult for bitcoin to get back on track green in the near future, if this condition does not recover, then altcoins will also have an effect and experience a sharp decline, although not all altcoins follow the trend.
