1301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 22, 2023, 01:46:48 PM
Of course whales will not be able to control Bitcoins even though they have lots of Bitcoins, but it should be impossible for whales to hold lots of bitcoins up to 50% of the total in circulation because actually the one who really keeps the most Bitcoins is Satoshi himself who is the creator of Bitcoin.
What's more, Bitcoin is not a crypto asset that is centered on anything and in the Crypto industry, investors who store Bitcoin consist of many people spread all over the world, so it is impossible for Bitcoin to be influenced or controlled by a group of whales.
We should have been able to think that if bitcoin could be controlled, it wouldn't have been controlled and played with long ago, but in reality no one has been able to control it.
And it's also still pretty anonymous how many Bitcoins Satoshi Nakamoto owns, because as of now no one has been able to prove the number of holdings, I believe the Pope can play his part in the market, but not control the price as they see fit. If not, many companies holding Bitcoin are currently able to control the price of Bitcoin, another reason that strengthens Bitcoin cannot be controlled has been proven by governments trying to make Regulations, but their wishes failed and were unable to limit bitcoin.

Because the decentralized nature of Bitcoin makes many people unable to control its price, Bitcoin is influenced to rise or be corrected for a number of strong reasons and maybe a simpler one is called a supply and demand relationship, some others may also have a relationship that influences it even though it is not clear or definite.
1302  Economy / Reputation / Re: campaign manager post counts behaviors; is this accepted? on: January 21, 2023, 07:22:27 PM
Note very clearly that I don't mention anyone but if you think this post  is directly pointing at you then you have to be compassionate with your participants as we all are humans despite you are a manager doesn't mean you should toy with peoples time and efforts.

Lets discuss.
To make it easier, make it a habit to first read the rules made by the campaign manager, whether the conditions requested are in accordance with our posting habits. Sometimes the post you make does not meet one of the requirements requested or it could be because the quality of the post does not match the desired specifications. If after reading it and you think it doesn't make sense then leave the campaign, it's the only way you won't be kicked out of the campaign.

What has to be understood is that campaign managers never ask us to join their campaigns and instead it is us who consciously sign up for their campaigns. Sometimes it's too difficult for us to accept other people's decisions, but on the other hand we don't try to follow their rules.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 21, 2023, 06:07:29 PM
we all know no one can controls the bitcoin price because bitcoin isn't like bank, stock and valas. but if the whales owned 51% of bitcoin, can do it?. if happen, does decentralization not exist?
You know that bitcoin is decentralized, but it also says whales control the price. Then what is meant by decentralization?
Decentralization will never get lost in the journey of bitcoin, because it is its nature and function. Whales or a group of them may be able to move the market, but not have complete control to make bitcoin go up.

Simply put, the whales also don't necessarily own 51% of bitcoin in my opinion, nor is there any guarantee that bitcoins are currently held on exchanges, especially after the FTX case left many people feeling apprehensive about holding bitcoins on centralized exchanges.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 21, 2023, 04:42:28 PM
Yes, Ancelotti's strategy failed miserably in the first half, but we have to admit that Villarreal played brilliantly and scored two fast goals. Real Madrid's replacements, however, showed that in soccer, everything is possible. Amazingly, they were able to alter the tide of the game and score three goals. But Villarreal is also deserving of praise for their performance, particularly those two early goals. Real Madrid was under a huge deal of strain, and it was evident that they own some exceptional players. If they can learn to maintain their advantage and continue playing at this level, they will definitely earn the Copa title. I was very excited to meet Real after he had overcome the challenges.
Ancelotti always surprises in several matches, Ancelotti is always calm in responding to the defeats he has experienced, I saw how in the first half they were really pressured by Villarreal, so that Real Madrid's game did not develop at all. After Ceballos and Asensio entered Real Madrid slowly making changes and managed to make a comeback, Ancelotti had to evaluate the defense because in that match they had difficulty intercepting when Villarreal players built attacks.

Real Sociedad are third in the table after beating Rayo Vallecano 2-0 and at the moment they are level on points with Real Madrid, but Real Sociedad have played two games more than Los Blancos. The positive results obtained by Real Sociedad have made them widen the points from Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and Real Betis who have the same number of points.
1305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone living with older people? on: January 21, 2023, 03:30:10 PM
How do one educate the illiterate about digital currency?
There is no way to educate people like this, because they will never care what you do, instead they will say are you gambling? People who are illiterate or of the generation who have not touched technology at all will never have the trait of acceptance, because the logic they use will not go that far, they have never known bitcoin nor do they know how to use it. Whatever approach you try to use will never work.

Stop educating people like this, because their ability to accept is far greater than a sense of rejection, for me there is no formula to explain everything, especially for those who are not familiar with technological terms.

The match between two teams Liverpool vs Chelsea has started. The game has now reached halftime. Neither team has scored a goal yet. Chelsea is leading the game. Their quality of play is very good. Liverpool has committed 10 fouls during halftime, 1 of which is yellow.  got cards. Now it is to be seen which of the two teams can win the match by scoring goals in the remaining time.
Chelsea scored one goal in the first half, but unfortunately the goal was disallowed because it was caught offside, Chelsea played well in the first half and were able to control the game, making it difficult for Liverpool to build attacks. Entering the second half Liverpool played a little better and so far Liverpool have tried to build attacks through the wings and midfield, but Chelsea's defense is still quite difficult for Liverpool to penetrate.

In the second half Chelsea started to lose confidence, did not play as well as in the first half and instead Liverpool started to press and keep trying to attack, but the final finish was still quite weak. The entry of Darwin Nunez in the 63rd minute made Liverpool's attack even sharper and more dangerous. I hope a draw in the match this time.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 20, 2023, 05:36:30 PM
Real Madrid's performance against Villarreal didn't satisfy me at all. Of course the result is the most important thing here but this level of effort isn't good enough for the rest of the season.

Hopefully Real Madrid won't maintain the same effort in the La Liga and Champions League. Otherwise it would be very difficult for them to win a title. Athletic Bilbao are another challenging team to defeat for Real Madrid. Because there isn't a big difference between Villarreal and them now. It feels like both teams would find goal(s) comfortably. But for the result of the match I can't be confident of anything now. Real Madrid might be able to win by a close margin again maybe. They had better do so to prevent the point gap with Barcelona to get bigger.
Ancelotti's strategy didn't work out perfectly in the first half, Villarreal continued to press in the first half, so Ancelotti's strategy didn't go well. Villarreal's performance was very impressive and was able to score a quick goal in the fourth minute through an assist by Gerard Moreno and completed by Etienne Capoue, towards the end of the first half Samuel Chukwueze added to Villarreal's lead. Ancelotti began to respond in the second half, Dani Ceballos and Marco Asensio came on for Toni Kroos and Rodrygo.

Substitutions made by Ancelotti managed to make Real Madrid find the rhythm of the game, Vinicius Junior scored the first goal, while Eder Militao and Dani Ceballos completed two goals for Real Madrid's victory in that match, Dani Ceballos' impressive performance must be a consideration for Ancelotti to give him more playing time.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 20, 2023, 03:51:40 PM
I can agree with you that Erik Ten Hag took this game seriously and played his best player available but his team suffered a bad day, conceding a goal in the 92nd minute of the game, I bet no one saw that goal and United players were confident the game was concluded and won already. Good game for Crystal Palace I'm pretty sure they will be happy with the result from the game.
Erik Ten Hak has always taken the game seriously in the Premier League, even though he has to face teams at the bottom of the table, he only rotates one, two and three players when deemed necessary and that is why Manchester United is slowly improving and Erik Ten Hak has managed to bring Manchester United to third place big standings. Michael Oise's goal in the 91st minute cost Manchester United a place in second place in the standings, three points adrift of Manchester City, who beat Tottenham 4-2.

Crystal Palace deserved a draw, because they played quite well in that match, a draw in this match also made Crystal Palace occupy 12th place in the standings, five points adrift of Chelsea who are currently in 10th place.

I understand that MU drew against Crystal Palace. It is possible that MU players are tired both physically and mentally because the match schedule is so tight that it makes their performance less than optimal.

Apart from MU failing to kill the game with many chances, Palace often makes it difficult for the big teams, especially at home. Especially in the EPL the bottom team can sometimes beat the top. A draw is too expensive because Casemiro got a yellow card. next MU Vs Arsenal without casemiro
Erik Ten Hak has to take this risk, even though he is aware of the impact fatigue has on the players he has, because Manchester United's substitutes are not very good and they don't have the same quality as their core players, so Erik Ten Hak has no other choice in rotation. Erik Ten Hak managed to overcome this and the Red Devils are slowly getting back on track for the title race this season.

Crystal Palace always surprises the top teams and in that match they played quite well in defense and attack, so that Manchester United had difficulty scoring goals, without the presence of Casemiro Erik Ten Hak had to think of another strategy against Arsenal.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: We are not out of the woods yet on: January 20, 2023, 02:44:15 PM
There is always this most painful season in crypto space that hurts even the strongest of crypto holders out there where they will almost give up, I don't believe that this bear market will be different, if you are here in 2019 you knew what I am talking about.
Again we have to mention the four year cycle and that is why bitcoin is considered a fluctuating asset, holders who understand the nature of bitcoin will not suffer from the panic you describe, because they know the law of supply and demand has something to do with the course of bitcoin, despite many other events also affects the occurrence of Bullish and Bearish.

It will get to a point where many will start losing hope on crypto, a more painful bottom will occur and holders will lose faith, the bear market will look like it will be here forever.
To date I have yet to find the number of percentages of people who have lost hope of the bitcoin journey. Strong holders are those who continue to buy and stay long term, the percentage you are referring to represents only a small number of people who do not understand cycles and have not been deeply involved in bitcoin investing in recent years.

We are not at this point yet so do not get too confidence that a new all times low is no more possible, no one saw COV-19 coming in 2020 and anything can still happen between 2023- 2024.
There are always cycles that affect the journey of bitcoin, however volatile and chaos caused by anything will end, 2021 is a major catastrophic impact around the world, recession and inflation occur in almost all countries. Yet bitcoin continued to show consistency and survive the turmoil until it reached ATH, the power to compare bitcoin amidst recession and inflation is sufficiently described in 2021.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did you sell off during the 21k price breach. on: January 20, 2023, 01:21:00 PM
So are we to expect any sudden drop down to 16k again on the price of bitcoin this year or we will going through with this current 20k to 21k mark.?
Personally I prefer bitcoin to be held long term and haven't decided to sell my bitcoins for now, although in the future bitcoin will experience a correction back to 16k, for me this year bitcoin will experience a gradual increase, so deciding to sell now is not the time right, even though many people are trying to take short term profits in bitcoin. Everyone must have their own way of entering or selling the bitcoin they have.

But for me long-term use is much more profitable, as long as we can wait for the achievement of ATH and not panic when the correction process takes place, 2022 was a bloody year for bitcoin, but this year I am optimistic that bitcoin will gradually increase and a recovery point has occurred within a few weeks.
1311  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: January 19, 2023, 06:39:18 PM
Reality predictions about paper money can be measured based on the growth in current technology use, every year statistics on technology use continue to grow from all ages so online transactions in e-commerce are increasing but transactions for paper money are decreasing compared to the previous year, but efforts to eliminate circulation of paper money is not easy because the government must ensure that the use is very low and not even used anymore in every transaction in traditional markets and any other transactions, if the position of the situation is then the government can make new regulations regarding the use of paper money without the negative impact of criticism Public.
Transactions using paper money have indeed entered a decline stage, because there are many online payment technologies available in e-commerce, so that people have choices in shopping even if they don't hold banknotes, but this problem will not make the circulation of banknotes disappear, because, as previously stated, I said earlier that supporting resources are not fully accessible except in urban areas.

Making new regulations is not easy, because it requires a lot of consideration and approval from several authorized agencies, other considerations will have a lot of negative impacts and protests that will occur as you said. If this continues to be enforced and before the source of support is not available in all areas.

I don't think creating a bank's CBDC is to limit or slow down the growth of cryptocurrencies, even if a successful CBDC would have no impact on cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrency market is a financial market used for investment, while CBDC represents fiat in the digital version, which is only seen as an evolution of technology. Fiat is a currency, not an investment market, so the two can't hurt each other. Alternatively, a CBDC could also be the idea that gives the government more control over us.
Limiting what I mean is not included in the category of slowing down the growth of crypto as an investment, CBDC was created to fulfill the revolution in the field of state finance, so that fiat is not left behind because the development of crypto has increased sharply. Believe it or not, crypto and bitcoin in particular are considered fiat competitors by them, if they don't try to revolutionize anything against fiat currency it will impact the future of fiat.

CBDC is just a matter of transition for those who don't want crypto to develop and that's why there are many challenges and restrictions from the government in limiting it, so regulations are always discussed for security and continue to be voiced until now.
1312  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: January 19, 2023, 05:05:21 PM
Users who help you don't do it because your ranking is low, but they help you because they think your posts are of better quality. Indeed, the quality will differ from one user to another, so what they consider quality is not necessarily the same as what I and other users think.

So as some users managed to rank up recently, I also want to congratulate you guys.
More precisely not because of the low Rank, but according to some people the quality of the posts is still lacking and because of that I am even more motivated to improve myself, until in the end I succeed. The hard work we do will never be in vain, if it is done in earnest.

As you said, that quality has a different standard for people who view and rate it, because it's still quite relative to judge posts against each other.

One need to be consistent here and if you maintain quality of your posts then with time you are deemed to grow up. Thanks for the motivation and once again many congrats for becoming Hero member.
There are only 10 merits left for you to become a Full Member, consistency and improvement in the quality of posts will accelerate you to the next rank, keep doing your best because others will see your sincerity in improving the quality of posts.

We also want to see you move up to the next Rank, but it will take some work to get you there fast.

I have never participated in any merit help before, I anticipate this will favour me. I think i deserve a hero rank because I have spent so much years here. Thanks all[/i]
Spending years does not guarantee anyone the next rank, as it takes hard work and more consistent effort towards change. I'm sure if you are serious, it will accelerate your desire to go to the next rank.

I can only help a little to motivate you to rank Hero, hopefully accelerating your desire to get there.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 19, 2023, 04:05:21 PM
For today's match, AD Ceuta vs Barcelona will meet in the last 16 of the Copa Del Rey. Xavi summoned 22 players who will be brought to the Alfonso Murube Stadium. Barcelona will be setting high targets for the Copa Del Rey even if their opponents today look easier. Winning will be very important, and I'm sure Barcelona will do their best.

The following is a list of names that Xavi brought to the Alfonso Murube Stadium: The squad for the trip to Ceuta
There is no Frenkie De Jong in the 22 names of players that Xavi will bring when they travel to the Alfonso Murube Stadium, so far I don't know whether the rumors of Frenkie de Jong leaving Barcelona will actually come true. But whatever the reason, I think Barcelona will have an easy game against Ad Ceuta, because previously Barcelona beat Real Madrid in the Super Cup.

It looks like this will be an easy match for Barcelona, because the opponents they face are not that strong and not so balanced against Barcelona.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 19, 2023, 02:36:19 PM
Their chances are small but it still will not be wise to write them off just as many Manchester United supporters have done already and currently just looking to play against Arsenal by the weekend. Crystal Palace can win today even with their underdog status in the game. Crystal Palace have the home advantage and the coach of Manchester United may decide not to play some key players to rest them for the game against Arsenal and to prevent them from being booked in this game, players like Fred and Casimero who a yellow card in this game will mean that they will not play against Arsenal.
Erik Ten Hak did not underestimate Crystal Palace, because they played at full strength and did not rest a number of their core players, even though Manchester United had to draw 1-1 in that match. Bruno Fernandes managed to take advantage of the bait provided by Eriksen, so that a goal was created in the 43rd minute. Manchester United came close to winning the match, but Michael Olise equalized with a free kick which David De Gea could not prevent in extra time.

Furthermore, Manchester United will face Arsenal, this match will be much more interesting because in the first half of the season Arsenal must admit the superiority of Manchester United. This time Arsenal have the ambition to avenge the defeat in the first game, as well as distance the difference in points with the second place in the standings and keep the chances in the race for the Premier League title this season.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 18, 2023, 06:28:36 PM
I don't think Real Madrid are going to have a comfortable match against Athletic Bilbao. I know that they have a good head-to-head match history against Athletic Bilbao. But Real Madrid haven't seemed very reliable in their recent matches. They started to lose quite many points lately. They lost 8 points in their last 5 matches for example. We all watched how solid Villarreal played against them in their home match. If Athletic Bilbao manage to show a similar level of performance to that then Real Madrid had better be ready for a very tough match.
The strength that Atletico Bilbao has is different from Villarreal, in La Liga Atletico Bilbao is not very consistent, even though they are currently ranked eighth in the standings. Real Madrid are still performing quite well in La Liga, despite having suffered two defeats against Rayo Vallecano in November and one defeat against Villareal in Week 16. Meanwhile, in two Super Cup matches, Real Madrid had to draw against Valencia and lose against Barcelona.

Ancelotti will definitely prepare at full strength and will evaluate the unsatisfactory match they got in the previous match, because if they lose against Atletico Bilbao, the points with Barcelona will widen slightly. The closest match that Real Madrid has to prepare for is the Copa Del Rey, because they will meet Villarreal again and this match is also important for Real Madrid to win.

Athletic Bilbao are already one of the strong teams in the league. They lost to Real Sociedad recently maybe but the red card was also a big impact on that. I think they will play bravely against Real Madrid home.
Real Madrid will not waste any chance of dropping points in that match and I am sure they will get a win in that match which will take place at San Mames Barria.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 18, 2023, 04:29:50 PM
It seems that Man United have a busy schedule. After Crystal Palace there will be a tough game. Man United have to play against Arsenal who are currently playing very well and are ranked first.
Arsenal and Man united are still busy teams because of playing in several competitions. Perhaps Man United are better off in the same direction as the Matches  against Arsenal. In the last four matches Man United have never lost and drawn once. But tomorrow they will play at the Emirates Stadium, Man United must be vigilant.
Manchester United are very superior in this match, Erik Ten Hak's men are in their best performance since the World Cup break, Marcus Rasford is increasingly consistent in scoring goals and getting sharper in Manchester United's front line. The derby victory made Manchester United even more excited to add to its positive trend. On the other hand, there are three players who are considered to have played an important role in making Manchester United better at the moment, namely Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes. The combination of these three players made Manchester United's front line even sharper, as evidenced by Marcus Rasford who always scored goals in the previous eight matches.

Crystal Palace's chances of winning are very small, where from the previous four matches they lost against Chelsea, Southampton and Fulham, they were only able to win one win against Bournemouth. For Manchester United the victory in this match is very important, because in the next match they will travel to the Emirates Stadium.
1317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 18, 2023, 03:03:39 PM

2023 is going to be another year of major speculation on the rate on when we are going to experience another bull run and eventually reaching another ATH.
As 2022 was seen as a disastrous year for some bitcoin holders, it was also seen as an golden opportunity for new comers like me who missed out in buying when bitcoin was very low before it experienced a major rise in the year 2020. We have bought bitcoin now thats it price is very low and we are expecting to hodl it till when another bull run season comes hopefully we can see it reach another all-time-high.
That is why bitcoin is considered a speculative asset, but whatever drama has happened to it has not stopped bitcoin from becoming an idol in crypto. The Bitcoin to ATH countdown is fast approaching, resistance points have been seen in a gradual recovery and bitcoin is once again showing progress towards a positive bullish trend, it has been a great start for bitcoin this year as investors and holders have made a comeback from the previous year's turmoil. Entering the market and buying some bitcoins will be very profitable going forward.

So am curious to know if everyone is still holding or have chicken out and sold theirs.
Note ::get your coins off any exhange platforms if you are still on the hodl game
For now I'm still holding bitcoin, have no intention of selling it before it goes higher or reaches the next ATH.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 18, 2023, 01:15:04 PM
When you are a breadwinner then it would really be that hard for you to save up and we are on the same situation on which you could hardly even ending up on having a savings or extra money just because there's something that you do need to spend up or shall we say its part of expenses which it would really be just normal that you should prioritize them for you to continue even if you dont really have the time on extra money
that you would be saving up.Its not really that hard if you are really that serious on saving up but there are instances which leaves you no choice but to deal with it.
Saving up would really be totally different into each other because we do have different financial situations or capabilities.
The portion of savings can be adjusted according to the ability of the money you have, no need to determine the amount, because the most important thing is to do it regularly and consistently every time you get a salary or when you have other income. Everyone earns a living for his family and this is where the ability to balance expenses and income is most needed, so that everyone can have some money left for savings.

If we are married and have children, but the savings we have are empty, then when unwanted things happen it will have quite an impact on psychology, for example the cost of educating children and family health that cannot be met, so saving and investing are equally important.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 16, 2023, 06:49:05 PM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?
Whatever amount of money you can save, if placed correctly it is sure to generate a suitable return. In some countries, $1,000 is considered a large amount to save or invest, because each country has a different exchange rate. If $1,000 invested in bitcoins regularly and consistently will bring you great returns, many people even make investments far less than the money you have saved.

So it can be said that that much money would be quite appropriate if placed in an investment in bitcoin, but the rest depends on how a person places the money they have, but for me the steps to buy bitcoin slowly are much better, because if done regularly over time it will become big.
