You're making a good progress. Wish you luck!
1062  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [Loan Request] Need funds to run altdice.net - Special conditions on: April 01, 2014, 06:51:20 AM
The rest of the 25k PXC has been repaid to ghostlander.
Total of 50k PXC loan has been repaid. ( http://explorer.phoenixcoin.org/tx/2b8a61adb4d48088036bbfd978bc7e7a51a153497cbd8e032421426a1f15b0dd )

That investment has generated 43036.81 PXC as profits that have been paid to the investor.
It is a little more than 86% of the amount invested back in october 2013.

Thanks for your trust, ghostlander. It was sweet doing business with you. Smiley

Confirmed. A pleasure to do business with you.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CHNCoin resurrected! on: March 28, 2014, 07:48:59 PM
CHN getting resurrected, PXC getting resurrected, you guys should just let them stay dead.

PXC was resurrected 6 months ago. There are many other coins which have changed their developers.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.5.2 Released on: March 21, 2014, 03:00:44 PM
Looks good. Still very jealous of the 64 bit clients!  Tongue

I like the time warp restrictions. Hope all goes well with the soft fork.

Got some buys out there.

Those nodes which don't update to v0.6.5.2 in time will be protected by the ACP. I've updated the master node, the block explorer and my P2Pool nodes already.

There was quite a bit of volume at Cryptsy recently. Nearly 1 million PXC traded on the 19-Mar-2014 alone. That's quite a lot considering 11 million PXC in circulation currently. Now the market is rather quiet. I guess most of the weak hands have dumped their bags and left for greener pastures. My bag didn't mind getting in a few hundred thousand PXC at these prices.

Phoenixcoin v0.6.5.2 Released

Quote
This v0.6.5.2 is an important update over the previous release. The Coin Control has been implemented which enables user control over unspent outputs (disabled by default; may be activated at "Settings->Options->Display->Enable the Coin Control (for experienced users only)").

Transaction fee schedule has been modified. Most transactions are free if they are less than 2000 bytes in size, have enough coin age and don't get caught by the dust spam filter (any output < 0.01 PXC). A regular transaction (1 input, 1 output) is 192 bytes. The minimal transaction fee is unchanged at 0.1 PXC for those transactions which require a fee.

Another important improvement is a soft fork at block #270000 which enables a better protection against time travel attacks and the block limiter against hostile coin hoppers (no more than 6 blocks per 2 minutes can be accepted). There are also a few important security fixes.

This is the 1st time we offer an official client for MacOS X (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions supported, 10.5+). A 32-bit Linux build (i386) is also available in addition to the 64-bit one (amd64). As usual, 32-bit and 64-bit Windows builds.

1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin Development Fund on: March 15, 2014, 12:40:02 PM
Flound has donated 50K PXC to the fund on behalf of the Multipool miners.

1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Orbitcoin on: March 06, 2014, 06:51:11 PM
Depends on what you mean by rare. Although declared to have a 31 million coin supply, ORB isn't going to exceed 2 million in fact.

There are 457K blocks mined to this moment which have generated 87K ORB only. The 1st halving is at 2.1M blocks, so add maybe 300K ORB to this point. All upcoming blocks for the coin life are not going to generate more than 200K ORB. So, 1.6M ORB is most likely the total coin supply.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.5.1 Released on: March 06, 2014, 03:09:19 PM
Nice changes...

Now all we need is gravity-well diff-adjusting, and this will become a strong player again. (Still gets hammered by hoppers who tap-out value.)

Join the dark side of the fire!

Our difficulty adjustment is fine, no big problems with coin hoppers. Kimoto's gravity well isn't as good as the popular belief says. There are problems with dumpers and merchants not willing to work with small altcoins, but that's a different matter.

We are working on PXC still, v0.6.5.2 is expected in a few days with the Coin Control implemented and a few security updates.

How much does it take to get PXC in? Would like to know more about the game though.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New Cryptocurrency Exchange in development - AllCrypt.com on: February 26, 2014, 04:18:19 PM
First of all, SXC isn't Multipool mined.

Yes, it is. There are other multipools other than multipool.pl

The original Multipool is www.multipool.us by Flound.

Alright, it's up to you anyway, good luck.

Multipool mined, free pass

I see this for DGC and SXC. First of all, SXC isn't Multipool mined. Second, there is a large bunch of coins mined there which haven't been added by this moment. Like the former UNOCS members (FTC, WDC, PXC) and many others seen on the 1st page of Multipool.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: February 13, 2014, 07:35:21 PM
Why has Phoenixcoin been removed from the BTC chart recently? The coin is alright, no issues at Cryptsy either.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AllCrypt.com Coin Voting is now live! on: February 07, 2014, 03:39:12 AM
How much time is the initial coin voting supposed to run? How many coins do you expect to add at the opening?

Flound, have you decided how to compensate PXC miners for not receiving half of their earnings in November and December?

I haven't, actually.  Any suggestions given that the records are completely gone now from that time period?

We're talking about less than 1/2 a bitcoin worth of PXC, btw.  I could donate it to charity or something I guess.

Yes, must be not much. PXC will be setting up a development fund with a public ledger shortly, so you can donate it there. The community will decide what to do with this and other donations.

Flound, we have set up a development fund for PXC, so you can drop some coins there.

Please consider a donation to the Phoenixcoin Development Fund.

Phoenixcoin Development Fund

In order to advance the development of Phoenixcoin and associated projects, our core team has decided to establish this development fund.

As you may know already, the PXC pre-mine has been stolen and sold at Cryptsy by the previous developer in June and July of 2013
(Phoenixcoin Wiki)

After taking over the development, most Phoenixcoin related activities have been funded by the core team members.

Phoenixcoin is a community driven coin, so if you are interested in making it a success, please consider a donation.

All incoming and outgoing funds are accounted with a public ledger.
These funds are not to be used for personal needs of the core team members.
They shall be used to expand the development of Phoenixcoin in particular and crypto related projects in general.
The current objective is to establish our crypto gambling infrastructure as well as to assist independent crypto game developers.

The donations to be made in PXC to the address below. Thank you.

Phoenixcoin v0.6.5.1 Released

Quote
Although this v0.6.5.1 release isn't a major one, there have been many various improvements made. You a get a better wallet interface, working DNS seed nodes, new RPC commands and options, minor performance and security improvements. Many wallet translations have been de-uglified, though there is a lot of work to do still.

The built-in mining interface for pooled mining has been enhanced with the Stratum support. It relies upon Pooler's CPUminer, so the performance is very good. Those of you who still mine PXC with processors now can do that straight from the wallet. Our pre-compiled wallet binaries for Windows come bundled with the latest CPUminer for users' convenience.
