You started to delete tutorials you wrote for the NEM community, because you are not happy with the node reward draft (you fear that you don't get node rewards for the 14 nodes you were running). You tried to delete github issues which you wrote, too. I will stop here. Nobody is banning people for critisizing the silver coin idea. If that would be the case, a lot of users would have been banned by now, but in fact nobody was. It's sad to see a person like you go, but this attitude is just not acceptible. By the way, from development contract: f the allocated stakes do not reach a high enough value to fund the project (to pay the mint and cover all costs [shipping costs etc.]) until V1 is released, the complete fund will be transferred to the community fund. Qora: in-client exchange - right now you can exchange qora with burst with no middle man and most coins can add this feature to help build the first true decentralized exchange, host anonymous web sites and blogs on the blockchain, Automated Transactions and smart contracts. The dev's are still working on new features.

getting into bitcoin should be made as easy as possible from within the app.

You have to becareful with that as it starts to get in to money laundering laws (at least for the US). The US gov't is starting to crack down on buying crypto as well as crypto exchanges. The businesses that offer those services and are US based are asking for trouble. yeah those governments... anyways, it still should be made as easy as possible. i think if you honor certain conditions it should be possible. what those conditions are, i dont know, has to be discussed with financial authorities/lawyers probably you will need to have some extensive logging. You will have to give up your identity ie real name, country and very likely provide ID at some point. There is to much hassle to deal with which Gemz doesn't need, imho. |

To bad polo can't figure out how to sync wallets, there are some wallets on polo (Qora and Burst plus one more I can't remember) that have been unavailable for over 24hrs, they support can't figure out how to sync the wallets.

i just dont understand how they can have wallet syncing problems ,they could have downoded it from scratch 10 times by now .
maybe they are mad because Qora and burst have ACCT, the polo Burst wallet is also having problems. |

hey guys.. have what I believe a problem with poloniex withdrawal, so did a test withdraw of 5 QORA, used one of the addresses in the account panel (in the wallet) waited for full wallet sync.. and nothing balance still 0, so now I won't withdraw full amount till I am sure I won't lose it
does anyone use poloniex and see the same problem ? thanks much!
***update*** I see "PENDING" status... exchanges do real disservice to you.. (especially as there is no POW) hope it all will be smoothed out in the future, you can even go 50 x from Today prices...

OK, I understand that if Alice's AT - which goes first - has a small timeout of 24 hrs and Bob's AT has a much greater timeout, say 72 hrs, not much can go wrong.
Actually you haven't quite got it - Alice's timeout needs to be the longer one (as it is Alice that will be sending the "key" to Bob's AT first). Could the timeouts somehow be part of the secret, so that none of the participants can be tamper with it?
I'm not sure how that could be achieved - the best approach IMO is that the hash of the ACCT AT code could be published and compared to (to prove that it is the code that you think it is without having to actually understand AT machine code) and that you check the timeout value before proceeding.
Assuming there is enough of a time gap then there is not much that can go wrong (unless Bob's internet dies after Alice sent the secret and he can't get it working until the refund expiry time for Alice happens). Can you have this has a pop up where the user has to click OK on the pop up to close it? Having some kind of reminder is better then nothing, might help cut down on mistakes. |

yes rigel a proper usable functioning p2p exchange is the way forward and i'd go as far as saying is a crucial element in keeping cryptos on the decentralised path.
There has been talk of P2P exchanges for a while but so far, none have caught on. Most of it still seems to be confined to theory at this stage with few, if any practical examples to show for it.  Like Monero is a fork of Ducknote (Bytecoin), probably a fork of NEM vould be more successful especially if ran by somebody who knows how to hustle and market.
Monero wasn't a fork of duckNote (now rebranded as DarkNote). Rather, both coins were forked directly from Bytecoin. A NEM clone probably wouldn't be very successful. NXT has had a few clones and most of them have failed despite the fact that NXT also has the added disadvantage of (percieved) unfair distribution and lack of marketing skills. Additionally, NEM still has the unfair and incorrect perception of being a NXT clone despite having had an original codebase for quite some time now. A NEM clone would be viewed by many as being a clone of a clone. Qora and Burst have solved this, you can now trade exchange one for another within the clients, no external exchanges need. hey guys, i just tried to withdraw qora from bter and and it's stuck with the error "Error:201 wallet does not exist"
Are you familiar with this issue ? What to do ?
Bter is having trouble upgrading to new wallet, one of the Qora devs is trying to help them get it sorted out but Bter isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. |
