The point I was trying to make is that using social media for payments isn't new and until you can use keypay anywhere to me it's just vaporware.

If they only released a Gemz Paykey I bet the price of Gemz would be 10x what it is now. I doubt they will crack the online payment business, too many already doing it. Seems like a lose lose for everyone.

Not sure about you but my phone has a web browser and it works with the changetip site People prefer downloading an app version of a service on their smartphone, visiting web version on a smarthphone isnt intuitive at all, i just tried it and the first thing it asks you is to download the app version for my smartphone. Changetip webversion supports reddit, twitter, email, sms and skype - smarthphone version twitter and fb. Paykey will work anywhere you use your keyboard, so to my previous list i can add tons of others. Not even comparable to changetip regarding where you can spend money. Fragout, Nextgencoin, VeritasBS and 1,2 others are trying to push an agenda here. I encourage not to fall for this. These guys have probabaly sold and are trying to push the price down.
No holder in his right mind goes in public trying to make a bad name out of the project he currently is invested in.
The more the price goes down the more these guys get active in pushing their circus act, until they have bought.
Nextgencoin was pushing Vanillacoin as the next big thing in this forum, he just like now being so sure in his critics was very sure about Vanillacoin going to be huge. His prediction failed so hard and Vanillacoin is pretty much dead now. I encourage GetGems supporters not to fall for these fud attempts, these guys love to see the price go down atm.
VeritasBS decided to shit on everyone and deleted the whole general discussion with around 70 members in the getgems app and kicked out everyone, probabaly after also selling where Daniel had to make a new one inviting people again.
If you are still holding and no single positive thing comes out of your mouth about the project you are invested in you must be very stupid, i believe these guys sold already and can only gain from this shitstorm.
Think about it, would you type essays of criticism and negativity about a project you are currently invested? These guys or just want to bring the price down or just sold and want to see GG fail. Excuses like its from principle reason are all bs.
For the record: I was the one who created the Telegram Troll Box chat room and when I left the chat group i closed the chat room i made, sold my Gems about two months ago and will not buy back into it, deleted the app fom my phone and I dont have a shill account this is my one and only account. And what about the talk of using email recovery for your wallet? If a pin is still going to be used there is always a chance that it will be forgotten, there will have to be an option for recovery if not people will get mad and uninstall the app.

Your friend can uninstall, install and generate a new wallet for the Gems. The bits are lost however.

I think Daniel is spot on about the PIN, why did nobody think about that lol.   Because it doesn't make sense. The PIN code was put in place for security, a noob with 10 Gems and a noob with 10K Gems is still a noob. What about sending Gems? So does that mean that if a PIN is not used and the phone is lost then the persons Gems will be easy to steal? Instead of removing the PIN wouldn't it be better to have a better description about how to use the PIN? Debit and Credit Cards use PINs and people seem to be doing fine with that. |

The recent (august 2015) news is that nem admins/developers have gone extremely desperate in nem thread, and they have now started deleting even factual posts if it's critical of nem. Here is example of deleted post Then, can we say NEM is 3.33 times(370/111) efficient than Etherium, at least until now?  Nem market cap is fake. 50% of coins are not even released yet. The value will go down as more of these coins are released. Look at the daily volume. That tells you the real difference between both, and nem is not even close. 2 BTC daily volume vs 5000. You might want to check coinmarket about your "facts". NEM thread allows lots of whining and moaning which you do regularly each week, but using wrong numbers to FUD will get anybody deleted. I know that Gemz is a phone based currency, however it would be nice to at least have the option of being able to transfer coins to a desktop wallet. When Gemz goes to $1+ per coin, anyone with several tens of thousands of coins or more will want a super secure way to store them and I'm not sure people with that many coins will want to trust Bittrex or their phone. Other than that, this project is super exciting! Just joined yesterday and it seems I found this coin at the PERFECT time!  You can also join us in the getgems group chat within the app, currently around 40 members, you can also join andoid beta testers or iOS beta testers. I can't send gemz to other wallet on an exchange site. Is there a problem?
I mean them gemz won't send. Just now, I'm trying to send some now but I get an error it says try again later. How long ago? Exchanges are often slow, I would give any exchange an hour or two before I even started to get concerned. Ah ok. Try to message Daniel or support... where can I contact support? Daily airdrop contributions are proportional to the total amount of gems held.
Is the daily giveaway the airdrop and if so, do i need to move my gems from my counterparty wallet to the app wallet?
On a separate note, how will advertiser gems be distributed. Are they collected centrally and then distributed or is it all handled automatically if you opt in to view adds?

The daily giveaway and the airdrop are different, daily giveaway you collect 1 Gem every 24hrs, the airdrop hasn't started yet. The Gems need to be in your app wallet to count for the air drop. Not sure about the advertiser Gems. |

I sent myself a few GEMZ from an exchange to my Android wallet address. The exchange says the withdrawal is complete and I've waited for a while but nothing has arrived to the app on my phone. Any thoughts?
check http://blockscan.com/, put in the txs ID from the exchange. Sometimes it takes awhile with the counterparty blockchain. |
