I feel like something like this deserves a more high profile marketing effort than just a Reddit link. This should be in Crypto news and is possibly even mainstream tech news worthy. IMO
I'm curious how much Telgram is involved in this development if any?
Will they market it at all, or do they stay neutral with developments in their app?
Agreed, this is a great effort. Also agree, they need to start shoving it down people's throats, with a social media app that's what is needed so people pay attention.

Calling someone a fag and saying a persons opinion is horseshit is not the way to gain users or promote GetGems.

Question:
Are the GEMZ on my counterwallet the same as the ones in a GEMZ app wallet or should I transfer the GEMZ in my counterwallet to the app one?
I'm confused on where my GEMZ are actually stored.
If your Gems are in you counterwallet then they are only in your counterwallet. If you put Gems in the app then they are only in the app. Think of the app as cold storage, the only way someone can get your Gems is if they have your phone, then they will also need your passphrase and pin number (when you run the app it will ask for a pin and give you a passphrase, do not lose your passphrase!). Will I get the mobile app advantages by using counterparty wallet on laptop ? Like free gems from airdrop, inviting new people etc ? No, the Gems app and counterparty app are two different systems. There will be a desktop version of Gems but as far as I know there is no eta on it.

Some questions for Daniel: 1. How is Gems going to handle price fluctuations in the store? With the price of Gems right now the $10 card costs $16.
The price in Gems for the gift cards will change with the Gems price fluctuations. 2. Are there going to be more stores for people outside of the US to use? Using a VPN is not an option for everyday people. Stores for people in Europe, Asia and Canada?
Yes definitely, its something we are working on. 3. Why does the air drop keep getting postponed? There has been a couple of times now you said it would be released with the next live release and so far there have been a couple of live releases and no air drop.
Currently the Airdrop security measures are being tested on staging environment, meanwhile we are working on improving the on boarding and retention of new users to the app. The Airdrop will be much more effective once when we get these points right. Thank you for the reply. In regards to the store prices as we all know the price of cryptos can change a lot, in order to change the store prices will there have to an update to the wallet which would require a download of the app each time or is there some way to have the price automatically adjust with the value of the Gems price? Once Gems is more mature there shouldn't be much movement in price but at first it will be very volatile and it will be a pain for not only the Gems devs but for it's users as well if there are frequent updates.

^ I agree on everything man, the app is killing it. Can someone explain this feature? i don't get it Request Money Functionality This update expands the functionality of ‘Request Money’. Until now, you could only copy your address to the clipboard or let someone the scan QR code. This update lets you add the value of the request. Send it to contact with a tap or share the request link on other platforms. Under your Wallet, if you go to Request GEMS you will see there are many options to share your address.

Sorry but NEM wasn't the first to have time sync, emunie has had it for over two years but I agree with the rest of your post.

Qora and Burst can be traded wallet to wallet with no 3rd party involvement, it can be used on any coin.

Both Android and iOS look phenomenal, i think this together with Mycelium are the top 2 wallets in the business. Need to get used to the Android header font though.
If you are talking about the font in the pics then don't go by that, I changed the font settings on my phone. It looks way nicer with the default font

So the beta for the in app Store is released and i'm one of the testers for iOS and have to say it looks absolutely stunning, it literally blowed my mind how cool it actually is. No other Crypto has come so far, it all just makes sense and it's unbelievably noob friendly and the attention to Gems as a currency in the store is great to see.
I'm an Android tester and I agree! I wasn't sure how they were going to pull it off but they have more then exceed my expectations. This app will blow people away.

Is there any proof at all of the stuff being worked on? If Makoto is going around Japan promoting or having meetings about nem why is the reults not being posted here? There is coins with 1/35th the amount of devs with so much more going on.
NEM will be at this event sponsored by GetGems:

Best android wallet is without a doubt GetGems.
Personally, it reminds me of those 'get paid for doing surveys!' apps...it's kind of cluttered. What looks cluttered? Would like to hear your feedback.
