@jasonjm it has been 16 years now and RCB is still not near the cup although they have some of the best batters in the world. This year Glen Maxwell has only scored 52 runs in the tournament. I don't think he should be retained any further as when RCB needs him he is out of form. The RCB management is clueless and doesn't have the right local talent they need. Most players in RCB except a few are only playing for the money and not for the team.

Interesting match today as SRH takes on RR. If SRH opening pair bats well then they will win without any doubt if not then RR are going into the finals. RR spin attack has been quite effective and if they win the toss then I feel they will bowl first. This is the second chance that SRH is getting to be in the finals of this season.

At last we are now in the end of this year IPL games. Today is the day when either SRH or RR will meet KKR in the finals of this season. Looking at the way this year IPL was conducted Inam not happy with the way BCCI conducted these matches. Being the richest board in cricket history they don't have machines like shown below.



This machine is called Aquasoaker which unfortunately is not available for every state cricket board that are responsible for maintaining the grounds and local stadium.

I wasn't happy with the way TV umpires are being trained by BCCI as there were to many wrong decisions that were given by them. Such irresponsible attitude by umpires make the IPL more suspicious than they were earlier.

About RCB! It is now evident that a few named players won't help them if they don't have good local talents. This team and its management need to rework on their selection and they need to focus more on local talent than depending on a few big names. It is now evident big names in mordern cricket are not that helpful for the team when they need them the most.

^^ They only take care of the outfield or equipment when someone fcuks up royally, case in point Dharmashala and this attitude won't change anytime soon.

The umpire's decision drama keeps fluctuating from time to time, in some seasons they do a terrific job with isolated incidents, not this time though but overall, it's a continuous process and the Umpire needs more training as far as tech goes.

Yeah, it feels low quality when ground workers run to pitch with brooms and buckets, being the richest board, i.e, having the resources they should definitely do better than that.

About RCB! It is now evident that a few named players won't help them if they don't have good local talents. It is now evident big names in mordern cricket are not that helpful for the team when they need them the most.

It's combined team effort that wins the matches, if in every single match you depend on few individual performances to win the game then it's definitely not going to work out and you rightfully deserve to be out of contest.

Can he now win IPL 2024? If he does then after Adam Gilchrist and David Warner he will become the third Australian captain to win the IPL trophy. I think he knows when and where to use bowlers and that is where he is much more efficient than a batter captain.

None of the 15-player squad selected for the T20WC will be playing in the finals of IPL 2024. Above all, Hardik Pandya is going through emotional turmoil in his personal life as he is now divorced from his wife and that might be why he was not in his original form while playing in the IPL 2024.

Talented, Luckiest and such a handsome launda. MF got everything and beating us in every crucial moment. If we dig deep then it tells you more about Aussie mentality and cricketing culture and why these guys are Champions. In contrast, we are PR driven and fully hero worship cricketing nation. It reflects in our T-20 WC squad and decade of ICC trophy draught.

Having said that, this time around I've virtually no expectations from the Indian team (unlike the 2017 Champions Trophy, 2019-2023 ODI WC or 2WTC cycles) so it won't hurt much lol.

Cummins looks like irl vampire and such a team player. He had Travis Head substituded in last game cause (cmiiw) Head dropped easy catch in prior match against KKR, I don't see anyone else doing this tbh.

SRH having him purchasing and making him a captain was one of best decisions (no brainer but still), Cummins was deffo the worthiest purchase this season, his captaincy skills are off the charts.

Sometime ago I watched video on Twitter of Cummins saying something along the lines, "we are going to play brand of cricket that other teams are going to fear us, and it may not work each time... (rest I don't remember)." Unfortunately, I can't find the video right now.

Fear is why India chokes in the cups, courage is why Aussies win, even if they lose, they play the way they don't have regrets after.

^^ It reminds me of an old conversation between some Indian and Aussie journalists about sporting culture in both countries and India not winning any trophy.

Aussie journalist replied more or less on the same lines. In Australia, when kids come home after playing a match, Parents ask did your team won. In contrast, Indian parents ask did you perform well?

This is big now international celebrity like Drake is betting on IPL 2024. I found this  post circulating on Instagram handle of rolling stones. IPL is now becoming a big global franchise cricket league and I think this is just the beginning.


Which team will win today? Looks like KKR is favourite but my heart goes out to SRH as another big partnership by Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will be enough to destroy KKR.

The odds favour the KKR and most analysts predict that KKR will win this year's IPL, but I think SRH might win the final. Head and Abhishek are the backbone of the SRH batting lineup, if they give them a good start at the top, SRH will beat KKR. KKR is a balanced team and their batting and bowling are in good touch. The powerplay of the SRH inning will decide the fate of the match.  I am hoping this final will be a thriller.

Because this team has worked very hard and struggled in the match.  And this team has shown interest.  And they have got an easy target in today's match.  If their bowlers did not improve in this match, they would have lost this match.  could win  If their batsmen target 180.  KR batsmen have achieved the target and won the match.  And when their target was found.  I had said that today's match will be won by KKR team.Congratulations to KKR on the win.  His team has performed very well in the match.

Finally, the two-month-long IPL 2024 is concluded. KKR won the IPL and their performance was top-notch throughout the tournament. They outplayed SRH in every department in the final. SRH could not handle the pressure from the KKR bowlers after the fall of their star openers. Head and Abhishek disappointed SRH fans in the knockout games. Their performance was below average in the playoffs. On the other hand, KKR dominated the whole tournament except for a few instances. I think Starc has justified his price tag after exceptional performance in the playoffs. He was man of the match in the 2 knockout matches.

It is now evident that a good deal of lasting contestant felt that it is not that easy to get to the top of prediction hosted by me.

 I some how feel these guys made a big mistake to under value the contest and think they can screw me and my contest.

As of now I am only going to give a neutral tag to those participants who felt this is game is meant to only make them get those satoshis. Those who broke the rules constantly and felt that they can scam me, you will regret.
