I think addiction is a disease where they have problems with their thinking which can affect their mentality and can also affect their health. because when they become addicted they will continue to do actions that are actually wrong and even though there is a possibility that they are aware that the actions they are doing are wrong, they still do them even though it is a big risk, and with that I think it is certain that they have problems with their thinking. If they don't pay attention to their actions, it's a big risk because they think they can win even though it's not certain when it will happen. Even their behavior is based on their thoughts first, because if their thoughts are good, I think they will take good actions by not taking actions that pose a big risk to themselves which could endanger themselves and even endanger other people.
