If you have a buddy in China which will send stuff to us at Bitman's cost..by all means....but as it is ASIC Miners (electronics) will be the LAST thing the Tariff will release IMHO.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Yeah    a reseller will say price is 775 on a s17+ unit thus no trump tax, but I simply am not interested in doing business that way.

There is a big issue  of owing a lot if it gets found out.

Lets say you order 10x 2000 dollar units    20,000  tax should be around 5500.   you pay  much less 500.  Then 10 months later you get a huge bill for the gear.  5000 or 6000 bucks.  I don't need it hanging over my head.

Yeah  I also pay 7% New Jersey sales tax

So I do 27.6 + 7 = 34.6% when fully taxed.

Now I grabbed

8x m10's under 799 one at a time zero trump tax
14x s17 pro from malaysia zero trump tax

But  was stuck on

2 a1066
1  s17
1  s17 pro      tax on those 4 was over 2000 plus sales 7% tax from NJ  about 500 =  2500 tax.

mine have all worked well. I have 17 of them for about a year.  If you pay 800 in the usa you got a deal.

There have been  some reports  of psu fails  when volts drift above 243-246

Have you seen any more anecdotal evidence of PSUs failing with a voltage spike above 240v ?

I have been having problems with equipment at a colo (they have been dropping like flies) and the site has also been having significant electrical issues

No new info but I finally lost 1 psu about 2 months ago.

Our major issue is we drop to 190 from 220-227.

It has over amped a few psus. 1 Avalon died 1 s17 died 1 s15 died.  I had spares.  I now have 1 s17 spare and no other spares for the new gear.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering about the updated warranty conditions on the S17 Pro, as currently mining business is banned in some areas of China (I guess manufacturing of its devices may be too).
Is Bitmain moving overseas to keep support to customers? Are we alone on the road now with our S17 machines?

My common sense tells me that it is best to wait for it to see stabilize the situation and see what focus is given in this brand and models.
But anyway I preferred to inform myself better with someone who is more involved in it.

Thanks in advance.
