Hm... i signed a message with electrum. Then i wanted to check out the message with verify. Unfortunately it always says only: "Wallet instance has no attribute 'verify_message'"

Thanks!

Im not sure if its an error too but often when i go to receive tab all the settings are gone about how big the columns are and so on. So that i have to click everywhere to get it back. But its only sometimes, on other times it shows the settings from before. I didnt find when it happens that its set back.

Is there a way to send multiple transactions in one transaction like its possible in original client? maybe using ; in between addresses and values? I wondered how refunds could be done with least work possible and without having to pay a fee for each transaction. For that it would be good to have such possibility. The help buttons doesnt mention such.

Thank you. Would be useful. I dont want to put work on you but i thought that the original client is missing an importfunction. Maybe a csv-import for payments. If electrum would have such feature it would be great. Most group buys will have tables with payments, creating a csv out of it would be easy. Then import it and you have a big transaction very easy.

I have a strange behaviour the first time now. I have a transaction that shows at electrum.no-ip.org, electrum.bysh.me and electrum.datemas.de as it has 0 confirmations. But when i check the same transaction id on blockchain.info it has 2 confs already.
First i thought a server isnt up to date but so many servers? The tid is:
Code:
1a112c2d29bda6a03392230d3c45717b6d8ba1307262a77d68e49c5e18fac5da

Till now electrum was always as fast as blockchain.info.

what happens if you do this in the console?

Im running the windows portable version so im not sure if i can use the console now and how. But finally it shows 2 confs too. I had it restarted before some times with no effect. I dont know why its now actual out of sudden.

I asked in dev-area about change addresses and was told that change addresses are only used once. Now when i see electrum the change addresses are reused as change address for the same real address. I think that lowers the anonymity, because a receiver that receives money from such change address can know all transactions that got out of this change address and the ones from the main address instead only know the one transaction and the main address ones.

But in fact i doubt the change address concept anyway... i mean a change address is is easily recognizable because its the second transaction in one transaction and both transactions empty the sending address. I dont see a use in this. Or do i miss something?

electrum 1.7.4 seems to have a bug... the new standard-fee is set to 0.0005btc every time i restart electrum. It doesnt matter when i set it back. Next time i restart it is setting it to 0.0005 again.

ThomasV have already answered this question https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50936.msg2236416#msg2236416

...
miners currently do not make any distinction between values lower than 0.0005 and zero, so it does not make sense to make the default fee lower than than.
sorry if this is a bit awkward, I wanted a quick fix because some users were getting stuck with never confirming transactions.
the code currently does not pre-detect which transactions need a fee, so you have to try to set the fee to zero and see if it rejects it or not.

thanks... though i dont see that is needed like i wrote in other thread now. The network will demand a higher fee if needed and 0.0001btc is enough. I tried it yesterday and it worked as usual.

Did you check the transactions in blockchain.info? It happens to me ocassionally that the servers are a number of blocks behind so the transactions arent shown with confirmations.

Dont be scared... if the transaction doesnt go throught then the bitcoins arent spent... so they still lie in your wallet on your address regardless what your wallet says.
