When the coin hits the open market then people can buy and sell for whatever price they want.
Most of the coins are being sold through the ICO or have been bought close to that price so people won't sell them for less than that. Since the coin is so rare there are no coins being mined to be dumped on the market making the price plummet. People can buy hardware with this coin so there will be a demand for the coins but there will only be coins available from people who paid for them

SPX is pure PoS so there is no mining, only holders can create new coins so people who bought them will be very reluctant to sell them.
People will want to buy them but people are not going to want to sell them so the price will go up.
