Some people love science fiction, but while they're watching science fiction does it mean that they wholeheartedly believe that it's so?

Come to think of it, more often than not science fiction becomes a scientific possibility at some point in the future. But whether it's feasible or not to actually happen, that's another story altogether of course.

Ridicule is all they have.  Notice there is never empirical evidence given to prove the curve.  All they have is hate.   When someones world view is challenged it sparks the fight of flight response.  You see it in spades in this thread.  

Odd how they can't just leave it alone and make their own globe thread.  They must come in here, give people with alternative views negative trust (attempt at censorship), and start the hate fest.  It's quiet telling actually.

Nobatman is seemingly an Eric Dubay clone with tons of information ready to fire away.  Stick around I can guarantee you will learn something about science and human behavior.  This is just as much a study in psychology as it is of earths shape.  Some of the globe disciples have been in here for years spreading hate.

I'm pretty sure he means you have a blind belief in something that provides no value to you.  You cannot disprove the existence of a god or an architect.  So why would you take the negative with absolutely no proof?  The believers in god also have no proof however their belief gives them hope.  Someone "believing" in god makes sense.  Someone "believing" in something that offers them no hope is a bit more hard to understand.  I'm agnostic as I don't really know one way or another.  Although the flat earth journey has me looking for answers.  

It's very interesting that the radicalized ball believers (people who spend years on here even though they do not believe in it/people who spend their weekends in here ridiculing people for a laugh) are also Atheists to the point where they feel the need to tell us about it.  There may be a link here.

Amazing they can ignore the mountain of evidence.  They seem to have no red flag system for calling bullshit.  They are broken humans (you can tell by the constant insults) Those images they were sold as a kid really burned into their minds and they are too scared to break away from the herd.
