its a really interesting game and i think that it will be very popular in the future, its a pity that it does not have a lot of players to play with at the moment

Hey ppl, a sad anouncement today, I decided to halt the development of battlecoin and get a dayjob, I'm too poor and website is not earning enough yet, and searching for investors seems like a very slow route. (will keep looking so something might change in the following months, we'll see)

will get back to it, and work on it when I catch time, but won't have the time to work on it full time even though I really love this project.

I haven't learned about your site until now, and I really like it a lot. It is a sad news that you don't get much profit from it and have to stop working on it full time, but I can totally understand and respect your decision. Good luck to you and your site.

Sad news to hear, i think you could have benefited from offering more skill games for bitcoin betting but i guess its difficult if you are trying to work on getting 1 finished and no investment.  Perhaps even more simple popular p2p games where people can play for bitcoin? Good luck in future.

But will the site at least remain active? I enjoy playing some games. Btw I tested in Google Chrome and it was smoother, definitely playable and I don't get the glitches mentioned before on Firefox.

I hope you can get the ball running in the future once Bitcoin is more mainstream, im sure this type of skill based game will be a massive hit eventually.

You might really want to start an IPO for such an awesome game!
I guess many investors will turn up if you can manage the it properly.
It has a strong user-base and I strongly believe it will succeed in future Smiley
Or you can try contacting with MoneyPot and they can help you adding your site into their Global Bankroll so that you earn money when they earn it in overall.

Sad you see you go but you should not sell your site. You have the potential to make it better. You just need the ignition. Smiley

Nothing wrong with selling the site with the right offer why not? holding it and no devlopment ends up = worthless. Selling could mean it lives on and you might get hired for work.

Looks nice and great concept! I like betting on myself! Haha. I assume mobile still doesn't work but will try with Chrome when I get the chance. I also think Battleship would be a great addition in the future as recommended on page 1. And you should seek crowdfunding!

Good luck in the real world as well. Tongue

Seems like I'm a little late to the party. Undecided

Anyway, I tried playing this Bomberman game and, aside from the low number of players online, I had two issues with it:

First, the very high ping (> 300ms), which made it almost impossible for me to play; however, my net definitely sucks, so that's most likely my own fault. Smiley

Second, the game, as it is now, is just too basic: there are no abilities to manipulate the bombs, like you see in most Bomberman games (for example, the kick, punch and throw abilities) - without these, the game turns out to be very repetitive after a while (and easier to exploit with bots). I doubt this, by itself, helps explain the lack of players (most users who posted here, so far, seem to have liked the game as it is), but it does seem like a major flaw to me.

In relation to the lack of players, one thing that could perhaps help retain some of them a little longer would be to include some basic bots for users to play against, while waiting for others to join - just sitting in the lobby waiting doesn't work very well. Sad

If you are having lag, I assume you are not using Google Chrome but Mozilla Firefox. Try playing again with Google Chrome and ensure that flash player is updated. I had the same problems with Firefox and after I tried it with Google Chrome the experience was much more smoother.

Ah, yes; I am using Firefox (in fact, I don't even have Chrome installed anymore - I tried it maybe a year ago, but its mandatory updates, that I didn't know how to turn off, were starting to annoy me, so I got rid of it Tongue).

But anyway, my net does legitimately suck: having a ping over 200 or 300 ms isn't unusual, unfortunately, so I may not be able to do anything about the lag. However, I suppose Chrome's javascript interpreter might, at least, make the experience a bit smoother (by the way, the game doesn't actually use flash, right? Isn't it all/mostly javascript on the client side?).

No game can replace faucets. (Well, in theory you can create some single player experience for idiots when game is so easy you will always win.)
The reason is simple when using faucets there is only one outcome - you will gain money. But while playing any kind of multiplayer game you can either win or lose.

Yes, the game doesn't seem to be using flash, it seems it's all JavaScript, in any case Google Chrome runs so much better. The game has great potential, and i can play it decently in Chrome + ping 65, ping 200 or 300 is overkill in ANY online game, good ping is 5-30, decent is 35- 65, playable is 65-95, 3 figures of ping and you start with the obvious delays.
