http://qoragaming.qora.co.in/http://snake.qora.co.in/Great! So, we have now games on the blockchain That snake game is fun As for this: http://nightsky.qora.co.in/This is one of the most beautiful websites ever. Love the colors and concept. I'd even like Qora's main page more if it looked like that (Imagine this page with buttons or animated logo etc).

Don't use polo for Qora! I have had two txs stuck pending for 2.5 days and all they will say is that there is trouble with the wallet but I just heard from a dev that their wallet is online and froging.

If you may notice, on the latest release there's a Warning on the web server that is displayed only if you are surfing the Qora web with your wallet unlocked. I think it's always good to be safe, but this might not be necessary. Since pages are hosted on a different port, and if the Java server is configured properly, API commands can/should return an error if the requests both come from the browser AND the originating page isn't the same domain/port. See here: http://www.codingpedia.org/ama/how-to-add-cors-support-on-the-server-side-in-java-with-jersey/EDITIn other words (sorry, lazy and I can't recall the real ports) If you load Qora websites from http://127.0.0.1:8100/ and the RPC runs from http://127.0.0.1:8101/, then a properly configured web server for the API will know that when a page from 127.0.0.1:8100 makes a cross-site request to 127.0.0.1:8101, that it should ignore the request and return an error. Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't call the RPC. This is browser-level security. So long as the user's browser isn't compromised, this isn't an issue but, of course, if the browser is compromised, the attacker probably has access to your PC and if they are interested in your money, that can steal your wallet/privkey, as probably any other cryptos you may hold.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011: "I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00. Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/" ...sigh. If only I knew.

new version out?
Yes, latest release is v0.21.1 and you can find it here : https://github.com/Qoracoin/Qora/releases/tag/0.21.1As you see, there's a Settings tab that helps to easily configure Qora Also, encrypted messages are now supported (AES algorithm with a 256 bit key).

how anonymous is surfing the Qora web using the wallet?
|
Stratis: Same supply as Ethereum + Masternodes + ICOs + Bitcoin a Core Dev. 90% cheaper than Eth. Do the math.

I like the new websites! Always nice to check back on this thread every few weeks/months to see that what cool new stuff has been developed. It looks like the database has been corrupted. The last time the .exe was running does it closed properly (File/Quit) of it has been forced to close? Also, can you please navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Qora and delete the data folder? In case you have changed the location of data folder go where it is stored and delete it. Then try to launch the app as normally. If it is launched successfully it will make a sync from scratch. In case you do not want to sync from scratch, you can download the latest data folder from here http://qora.co.in/?datafolder and replace the existing data folder on your machine while the wallet is not running. I encountered the same problem a few months ago as well. Sometimes after closing the program, it would refuse to run again. I suspected the blockchain was being corrupted but I didn't know there was a link to a direct blockchain download. At just 180 MB, it's also much smaller than I had expected it to be. Should definitely come in handy. Thanks.

it would also be nice, if i install a update and i had before choosen different paths to data and wallet dir, that this information is not overwritten.
atm i have to install the update over the current dir, start the wallet, create a new acount, go to settings, change path to data and wallet dir and restart the wallet.

Good point! I will change that in one of the following releases! Thanks for your suggestions.

Looks like someone is trying to buy in (cheap?) that wall on bter is about 6 month old Then it is probably a whale that wants out, and does not longer follow the development status. Qora has a better development status than most coins. The pages built on the blockchain during the previous week should have driven up the volume in the exchanges like crazy. In the near future I guess someone should gather all these web pages and create a "(hidden ?) web service directory"

that would be a killerapp. i read yesterday about sling, that also wants to make a decentral marketplace.... would be nice for qora also.
atm i think we need a central wiki for creating such webpages and put it in the blockchain. perhaps someone with knowledge can write a guide and put it in the official wiki.
Features are great, but i think the must be documented for noobs in the wiki.
