Molloype on BetterBets is tearing the place apart! BetterBets has a pretty cool spyglass feature if you want to watch him in action. In the last 24h he's wagered 1794 BTC, and in the process made a profit of 18.94 BTC. We've paid 8.944 BTC to the app in commissions, which means investors have taken a -27.885 BTC hit from him (although slightly offset by some of the other action). Ouch. Yeah I divested all and won't be investing again. Simply not worth the risk for such minimal returns.
Yeah, fair enough. I've lost 250 BTC in the last week bankrolling bustabit, taking 6 months of my income, so that +EV certainly doesn't come easy. But as people divest, it should increase the returns for people still in which I hope means it reaches a nice happy equilibrium. Also I think the vast majority of investors tend to over-invest, it really shouldn't an all-or-nothing proposition. Moderation is key. I have a small percent of my holding invested in various sites. The only all in I have are DOGE at Peerbet and CLAM at JD. But that's because I just have them as speculative bets. how well are these 2 site doing at the moment??? Peerbet is up about 48% in 13 months but value of Doge puts it in the negatives. JD is up like 190% in a few months (I have about 3x starting amount). Neither of these are representative of the future and both fluctuate. understood. i am just looking to diversify my investment. Keep in mind you add another layer of risk when dealing with alts, as well, so be careful. yah but JD is something i quite trust last time. except peerbet which i never hear b4. The site itself isn't the issue (I trust Dooglus immensely). It's CLAM. You need to keep in mind that BTC itself is risky. When you then move to an alt, you have an extra layer of risk (if BTC crashes, CLAM does. If CLAM crashes, BTC won't). So your risks are then: 1) The site 2) BTC 3) CLAM Invest accordingly.

Definitely an issue. Bitcoin is the only widely spread crypto, so everything else has to be denoted in BTC value. Because if you ever want to make an exit, you're converting to BTC (or to fiat, but that would be based on BTC's value as well).

The site itself isn't the issue (I trust Dooglus immensely). It's CLAM.
One thing I like about JD/clam is that there's virtual zero chance, or incentive for a big-exit scam. That's in comparison to most bitcoin investment sites, were there's strong financial incentives to do it. Dooglus will probably hate me for saying this, but I see just-dice investing/clams as an epic version of bustabit. You can buy-in (polo), or claim the faucet (dig) and now the goal is to hold on (invest) while making phenomenal returns. You can cashout anytime, or risk the giant bust

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

It seems to be two large dumps that tanked its price, almost as if it were intentional.

Fundamentally that is likely because of the Clam Digger who is still looking up blocks and selling. Eventually they cash out those clams but it does put a strong downward pressure until more blocks are staked and the relative amount the clam digger has decreases. That said moneypot will definitely have its volatile days too so it would be a fun investment not as insane as bust a bit could potentially become though ha-ha.

well be it volatile or not, at the end of the game has to be profit most of the time can already. i have seen investment whereby the share will just keep dropped until it is not even 1/10 of the IPO value.

Most sites that drop like that are due to mismanagement. Sites that are wasting money on useless things that do no good.

Sometimes the profit going down is the best to attract more people to play. Imagine if the site keep winning and people keep losing, no one will want to play at such site again but so far most profit come from betterbets. They have got almost 250 btc profit and some other site have got over 50 btc combined

Yup, betterbets is way much more popular than the other apps on Moneypot. From http://dicesites.com/moneypot, you can see it is 11 times more popular than the second place in terms of total wagered, and 17 times more popular than the second place in terms of number of bets.
